We had very good breakfasts. The host purchased food items for our requirements so we were extremely satisfied. We had cereal, fruit and yogurt and then a cooked breakfast, including vegan sausages (one morning we had porridge made for us) Fruit juice was also made available as well as tea and coffee. There was a fridge made available for us so that we could keep a few items stored. Nothing was too much trouble. They carried cases for us and provided a clothes rack when we got soaked in the rain. He also suggested places to visit and gave us leaflets about them.

Could not fault anything.

From the movement , my friend Ruth and I stepped into Glyntwrog's house, our experience could not get any better. The accommodation is truly spotless and in a great location, with a very short walk to the centre, which means it is not noisy. Sean was very kind and helped us with carrying the luggage up to the room, giving us plenty of information to suggest activities and places to visit over the weekend . Breakfast .... I do not have words. Every day, something new and exciting and all done with loads of passion and a lovely smile. We had a wonderful weekend and felt treated like queens. Thank you for having us !

Sean & MaryAnn are consummate hosts. Their attention to detail is noteworthy. The warmth of their welcome continues right throughout your stay. Room is very tastefully furnished, an extremely comfortable bed, tasteful accessories, spotlessly clean. Lovely touch’s like locally sourced biscuits & chocolates, a range of teas & coffees & coffee machine. Plenty of charging points, a fan, a heater & even a lantern in the event of a power cut! All eventualities considered. At breakfast, fresh fruit pots await you, with hot food of your choice, personally cooked to order by Sean with products sourced from both near & far. Non stop entertainment is provided by the wildlife feeding on the many bird feeders dotted around the beautiful shrubbery outside. Great recommendations by Sean of local walks, drives & especially eateries. Guide books, umbrellas etc available if needed. That attention to detail again! A guest house with a big heart & the most delightful hosts- we will definitely be back & couldn’t recommend Glyntwrog House highly enough!

Sean gave us a very warm welcome in arrival, showing us around the property and telling us about the local area. Sean gave us tips and ideas to enjoy our stay, including recommendations for eating and drinking. We chose breakfast options the night before...cooked meat and vegetarian/vegan options were available in addition to fruit, yoghurt and cereals. We met Mary Ann at breakfast and she was lovely and accommodating. The hotel was in a good location to walk in Betwys...about a 10min walk along the main road to the closest pubs amd restaurants. There were plenty to choose from despite some being closed mid week. Hangin Pizza in particular was lovely and no need to book. We enjoyed Conwy Falls,Swallow falls and Fairg glen all within a very short drive or reasonable walk. Zipworld Fforest was just a 3min drive away. The hotel was warm, welcoming and stylish. The rooms were cosey and spacious, with everything needed. The multi purpose plug sockets on each side of the bed were really useful, as were the touch sensitive lamps. The room smelled lovely and we gad a lovely view out from the window. Particularly loved the big soft duvet and pillows.

The driveway is steep and narrow so turn in gently. Perhaps not an ideal driveway to walk up if you struggle with mobility, but no problem if you are able bodied.

Sean and Mary-Ann are the warmest hosts I’ve ever met! They made sure we felt welcome from the moment of check-in. Breakfast, cooked by Sean, was sooo delicious, eggs so creamy and fluffy, like clouds. Quality of the food was better than restaurant food. Our room smelled really nice, bed was huge and comfy and everything was clean. We really enjoyed watching birds and squirrels picking at the bird feeders and just listening to bird songs every morning. Location is also great - just a short drive (or 18 minute walk) to Betws-Y-Coed town and 20 min drive to Snowdon mountain trails. Last but not least, we got to meet Mika, the cat, who is the fluffiest, cutest cat! Overall, our stay felt like being home, away from home. Thank You, Sean and Mary-Ann for such a warm welcome! We already can’t wait to come back!

The breakfast was excellent the owners went above and beyond in making us a delicious breakfast every morning even cooking extras not on menu. The best B &B breakfast we have ever had. Owners were waiting for us every morning with fresh fruit, cereals and yoghurts cooked breakfast was hearty and delicious and Sean the owner made us welsh cakes for afternoon tea and pancakes with fresh fruit, maple syrup and crème fraische one morning and scrambled egg with smoked salmon another morning. The breakfast room was bright and cheerful with lovely views. Everything was perfect 👍

Thé nicest place we’ve ever stayed on our many UK road trips :) The hosts were so warm and welcoming, attentive and exceptionally kind :) Our room was delightful, comfy light and airy with everything we needed. Sean cooks an amazing breakfast and even converted my fiancée to white pudding :) the view at breakfast is beautiful with many wild birds to enjoy Sean and Mary Ann make this place amazing, even going to the trouble to give us a delicious Easter Egg devoured very quickly! They have set the bar very high, and now we just need to invent reasons to return….

Glyntwrog House is a delightful period property. Sean & Mary- Ann are great hosts and are full of genuine warmth. Nothing was too much trouble for them and any assistance/advice you might need to make the most of your stay in this beautiful part of the country was freely available. We had a lovely room, 'Siskin' which had an ensuite shower/bathroom with some very nice quality soaps/shampoo etc provided. We enjoyed a superb night's sleep on an extremely comfortable 'king-size' bed. The room was a good size, very quiet, with an attractive outlook overlooking a nearby hillside. There was a good range of quality teas and coffee provided and Sean and Mary- Ann made it clear that if we needed anything else we only had to ask. Our breakfast was served at a table with a wonderful view of Thomas Telford's Waterloo bridge. Breakfast was delicious, a lovely touch was the amazingly fresh individual diced fresh fruit salads that greeted us each morning. A traditional cooked breakfast for me and salmon and scrambled egg for my wife were both were spot on. Having a great night's sleep and breakfast are must haves for us and these were first class, the added care and attention of our hosts made our stay exceptional. When visiting this part of the country in the future Glyntwrog House will be our obvious choice. Thank you Sean & Mary-Ann. Ps..the Welsh cakes were fantastic.

We really enjoyed the breakfast with the artisan breads, the locally sourced foods, and the wonderful preperation. The proprioters we gractious and friendly and very proud (rightfully so) of their B & B. They seem to be very active in their Welsh community and had an excellent knowledge of the restaurants in the area.

It can be a bit tricky getting in and out of the property since they are on a steep hill and you have to enter a very busy A5. However, that also made the view wonderful.

Sean and Mary-Ann were lovely hosts, we were greeted at the door and during our chat, Sean gave us some information on the guest house, the local area and even suggested places for dinner. My husband went out for an hour or so for his job while I relaxed in our room (which had everything we needed) and then we went next door for a tasty meal (literally two mins walk). Breakfast was great, shame we could only stay one night. Betwys-Coed is a lovely place, we haven't been for a few years and usually stay on the caravan site next to the station. Glyntwrog House was a real treat.
