Beautiful hotel, stunning grounds. Great breakfast.

Teeny tiny room, with over-sized furniture. Had to walk on some pipe boxing to get in and out of bed on one side. We were in a room that was opposite the staff cleaning room/office. People were going in and out all night, with the door constantly banging The door was left wide open when we arrived, and there were bags (of linen) all the way down our hall when we were leaving. It's a stunning place, but needs some finessing for the prices being charged. These might seem small problems, but it's a shame not yo mention it as they've clearly worked hard to make it a luxury country house hotel. We did email separately about this but felt the response wasn't great. Unfortunately it means we remember the things they did badly rather than the nice things.

Everything!! I don't usually write reviews but Caer Rhun Hall was amazing. Beautiful building Beautifully decorated in lovely grounds and as it is new it will only get better. Its tranquil and luxurious. We will definitely be back.we down have a dog but the dog friendliness just ended to the laid back vibe.

If had to pick one thing it would be that lack of coocked breakfast (although the breakfast was still very good, a pancake experience!) but they're getting the kitchen up and running April, then it will be truly perfect.

Dog friendly, baby friendly, comfortable bed, lovely clean room with details like good coffee, still and sparkling water, robes in wardrobe, delicious varied breakfast, good high chair for baby, accommodated a very late check-in (1:30am), gorgeous grounds and stunning building, very modern as fully renovated in 2022, top treatment from the night and day staff. This was a pit stop coming back off the ferry (1 hour from Holyhead), we can't wait to come back for a longer stay.

The water in the filter coffee at breakfast was a little too hot and ever so slightly burnt the coffee, a mistake often made in the UK. That's literally the only thing we can think of that was anything less than ideal, and i know it will be easily prevented the next time we stay. This place is absolutely wonderful.

The view from the room was beautiful. The staff were lovely. The room was warm and cosy, and done to a very high standard. Very peaceful surroundings, can hear the birds out the window. Great magazines in the room.

One evening during our stay we wanted to have a drink in the bar, unfortunately as I entered the apothecary room a large dog appeared from under the seat a couple was sat at and barked. This startled me as I wasn't expecting that from a public area of the hotel. The dog didn't appear to be on a short lead either and this was intimidating. I felt I couldn't enjoy this space. Might be worth changing the pet policy to only allow pets in public areas of the hotel that are content around people other than their owners.

Grand building in a wonderfully picturesque setting. Swift and simple check in, The Fordham room was huge, with super king bed and bath overlooking the courtyard. Staff were very welcoming and although always busy, responded quickly to our requests. Due to uncertainty on our evening plans we didn't manage to book a table in the restaurant, however a simplified menu was available to eat in the bar/lounge area so we didn't go hungry and the candlelit ambience was perfect!

Based on the quality of the food in the evening, a cooked breakfast option would have been most welcome. However, the continental breakfast was varied and tasty.

This hotel was simply stunning , first impressions were wow ! Quality & attention to detail of the interior decor , gardens , standard of rooms exceptional .

The only thing that let this stay down was not enough staff on , from check in to ordering drinks on the terrace to the restaurant service & feedback that the tv wasn’t working in our room which sadly wasn’t rectified . This is no reflection on the 2 fantastic staff members who were professional helpful & spinning so many plates between them on the day , I felt so sorry for them they were doing their absolute best .. Lisa & Holly are a credit to your hotel for sure . It didn’t ruin our stay & we’d return but other guests could be less tolerant & score very low . Again the restaurant experience in the evening didn’t stack up to the reviews , again I think we were very unlucky that it was a ‘ bad day ‘ with few staff on duty .

The setting was stunning. Picturesque. Drive up and entrance were very impressive. Breathtaking views surrounding the hotel. The ambience in all areas of the hotel were in keeping with the building itself. The rooms were spacious, extremely clean, comfy large beds with lovely touches like the robes and good quality toiletries. Great view from the bedroom windows, nice treat to wake up to. The lounge area of the hotel was cosy and comfy. Good choice of games to play whilst enjoying a drink from the bar and a good area outside to sit in the sunshine and watch the swifts flying around. The morning room was a spacious area to have breakfast separate from the restaurant. All the staff were friendly and attentive.

The bedding was heavy for this spell of warm weather. Options for main courses in the restaurant were rather limited.

The building and grounds were beautiful. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The staff were all very friendly

Our TV didn't allow us to watch it. There was a message across a black screen stating the license had expired. On reporting this to staff, they said they'd look into it but there did not appear to be any urgency and the problem was not rectified during our stay. This was disappointing. We had a room with disabled facilities,even though neither of us is disabled. I have no issue with a wet room but would prefer a toilet seat with a lid.

One night stay in one of the "cottages", We had a nice,big and warm room, an enormous double bed, Room and sheets etc were clean and tidy, Tea and Coffee (Nespresso machine) facilities, Shower with hot water, bath robes and slippers even provided along with an umbrella should it rain!. Everything you'd need such as hair dryers, iron etc too. Very plesent place to stay. Main house interesting too, along with the grounds. which are worth a wander Wanted to stay a bit longer but all booked up, so it's popular...

Nothing really. We didnt eat there so cant comment on breakfast/Meals but menu looked good. Bar service was great though..

Absolutely wonderful stay. We were in a separate little block of rooms away from the main house. It was very clean, modern and well maintained. Super comfy beds and everything you needed was there for you. The main house itself was perfect. The decor was exceptional, roaring open fire in the bar area too. The staff upon check in were very helpful. The guy working the bar in the evening was so kind and helpful. Gave us lots of information and recommendations on the local area. Also made delicious disarono sours. Unfortunately we didn't get his name but was possibly David. Exceptional customer service. The grounds were very well maintained and beautiful with a big swing in the garden. Would highly recommend and I'm definitely hoping to visit again in the future.

Nothing that I didn't like, only suggestion would be more teabags, sugar and a dairy alternative available in the milk sachets.
