Location is great. Feels rural but is close to amenities. Exterior looks fresh and well maintained as do the reception, bar and restaurant areas. Excellent quality food both at dinner and breakfast. Friendly helpful staff.

The room looked a bit tired - some peeling paint, knocks/marks on the walls, grouting between tiles in bathroom needs refreshing. Very tarnished metal bin in bathroom, for which foot pedal didn’t work. Awkward to use tap on sink. A few small cobwebs on ceiling above beds. Pillows are thin and a bit lumpy. TV reception not great, kept pixelating and sound affected.

Restaurant and spa staff were lovely and happy to help, although the reception staff seemed a little less enthused. The Spa was nice and the gym had a decent variety of equipment. The food in the restaurant was lovely, couldn't fault it. Only a small selection of cooked breakfasts but you can order off menu with no problems. We had afternoon tea on the spa terrace which was nice as well (this is the only lunch time food option but has to be booked a day in advance)

You are only allowed 1 hour to use the gym & Spa facilities per night that you stay in the hotel, which for me, just didn't seem enough. Lunch no longer being served in the restaurant which was disappointing on out day of arrival as there is nothing decent in the area (other than Kinmel arms). You can't charge food drinks to your room which wasn't the end of the world but would have been nice. Hotel decor needs updating, especially the hallways and reception. We had the executive double room which was surprisingly small and the fridge didn't work it also had great views of an alleyway and other people's room windows. Not deal breakers but could be improved.

I didn't like anything...I LOVED EVERYTHING!!!! The staff were so welcoming and friendly, they were so helpful too, a credit to your company! The dog friendly aspect throughout the hotel was excellent. The thermal spa was just out of this world! I felt so relaxed when I headed back to the room. We ate off the barasserie menu and it was absolutely delicious,best lamb I've had in a long time! We also sampled some gorgeous cocktails.

Not being able to leave our dogs alone in the room was my only gripe. I understand the reasoning behind it but if we hadnt had the option of popping them back in the motorhome, we'd have to have used the thermal spa separately which would've been rubbish.

Visited for our 15th wedding anniversary celebration. Staffwent above and beyond to help us make it memorable. We recieved a room upgrade on arrival, the room was immaculate and roomy, a very comfortable bed. Bathroom was superb and a lovely deep bath. The brasserie staff were incredible, very professional. We had a delicious starter and main, then given a complimentary dessert board with an anniversary message and strawberry belinis.

It was all more than perfect!

There wasnt enough loungers for the guests in the pool area The breakfast although tasty not a lot of options at the 10.30am sitting we had to ask for ingredients to make a full Welsh breakfast The radiators didn't turn off in the room it was far too hot so had the windows wide open for the whole trip

This was a last minute booking and well worth staying here. We would have been able to use the spa facilities but we didn't have our swimsuits to try the sauna and pool. Would recommend you take yours! The staff were great and the food delicious and reasonably priced.

Struggled to find the main entrance as the road was closed, instructions could have been clearer, once we realised where to go it was fine.

Brilliant hotel. Lovely rooms, great location, gorgeous spa.

The only minor fault was lots of children in the spa/pool in the evening dive bombing and screaming which wasn’t particularly great as we wanted a relaxing evening. No fault of the hotel, can’t fault the staff! Just maybe a consideration of rules for children/times they aren’t permitted in the spa area.

When we arrived the road leading onto the property was closed there was a tiny map pinned on a traffic cone explaining how we had to drive a different way to gain access. We arrived after dark, the map was not very clear and we nearly gave up. It really wasn't a great start! We should have been told before hand.

Lovely building and location. The swimming pool was exceptional although the lights weren’t working so had to swim in near darkness as there aren’t any windows.

Limited menu in the restaurant. Quite expensive. Drinks expensive. Had breakfast 20 minutes before closing and the bacon had been obviously stood awhile and when breakfast costs £20 this was a turn off.
