The friendliness of I believe his name was Jason (I could have the wrong name). He was a manager and couldn’t have been friendlier or kinder. Truly appreciated after driving a long ways (and not from Wales but visiting from another country). I wish I knew his name for certain-he was exceptional and deserves a raise! We were there Aug 19th.

The woman we spoke with upon arriving was not friendly. She didn’t explain why we had to wait to be checked in. She said something but I didn’t understand what she said so I asked again and she mumbled something about ice & never explained that we could only be checked in by the manager so we awkwardly waited, feeling ignored.

The view is fantastic - window to the estuary and another window to the castle. Conwy is a great place to stay - historic, pretty and lots of nice shops. The room is large and clean and the mattresses are comfortable. There are two rooms with this view and two with a less exciting view to the side, so worth checking you have the one you want. Staff are friendly and the pizza restaurant on the ground floor is very good.

The double bed is two singles pushed together and although they didn't move, it's not great feeling the gap in the middle. The breakfast is continental in a bag delivered to your door at 8.30am. It's more convenient for the staff and much easier for them to manage, and the fresh fruit is a nice addition, but I prefer to have a cooked breakfast or some choice when away from home. But these are minor disadvantages for the best view in Conwy, so we'll still come back.

All the little extras in the room like aTassimo, air coolers, very comfortable beds, hair dryer, plenty of sockets and an iron was available. Although it's not mentioned in the description, they leave you a small continental breakfast. No parking on site but you could pay and display for 24 hours for £8.60, just around the corner.

The Tassimo was the only coffee available in the room. Would have been nice to have had the option of instant but the coffee was lovely.

It was a really pleasant day and perfect for one night. We know the area well so it was important to just have something in the centre of town. They seem to have thought of everything and there was some nice little touches in the room. The coffee machine weren’t and the hairdryer was great, which is not always the case even in some five star hotels. All in all it was great

The communal stairwell it was a bit tatty and a bit smelly from the pizza downstairs but I don’t think there is anything they can do about that. Otherwise, absolutely nothing everything was great.

Great Location within the Town Walls. Comfortable, spacious rooms. Easy walking distance from everywhere in Conwy. Car park is just across the road (pay & display). The staff were very accommodating to our group and offered to allow people to keep bikes stored in their rooms overnight rather than on bike racks in the car park.

The Restaurant was closed when we were there which was a shame. Nearby parking is well located but beware the time limits if parking overnight - the wardens are diligent! A few people in our group got tickets because they were 15 mins late moving their cars in the morning. You can extend your parking via the app which is probably best, so make sure you have it installed if you are going to sample Conwy pubs on an evening and want a lie in!

The staff was very kind and friendly. The location is very good for sight seeing - very close to Conwy castle and its famous suspension bridge. The room was quiet and comfortable. The pizza restaurant which the hotel is running on the ground floor was excellent and we even bought a takeaway the next day to eat dinner on the train home.

While we were satisfied with the hotel and staff service overall, one thing I would like to comment is about the cleanliness of the shower room - there was mold in the gaps of the shower hose's bellows, and it peeled off every time the shower hit it, which was very unsanitary. Also, the drainage of the drain of the shower room was poor.

Central London, beautiful view of castle,all shops,bars and restaurants around location.The pizza from Johnny Doughs are excellent and we had them delivered to our room.Lovely outdoor roof space available to have a cuppa or something stronger.Stayed with our dog with no extra chargers.

Knew about continental breakfast but didn't enjoy,a breakfast pizza would of been lovely.Slight noise coming from restaurant,music went off about 11.Room was very warm but we had great fans No parking but was already aware but worth mentioning for other guests.

Staff, location and continental breakfast really good. Lovely rooms and very comfortable beds.

Understood this before we went, although a great location it is no surprise that it is very noisy with the traffic, especially as the building doesn’t have double glazing. Again, we were aware that Johnny Dough’s don’t have their own car park. Surely some arrangement could be made for customers to be given a car parking pass for the length of their stay for nearby car parks instead of having to top up the parking meters every day?

Fabulous view of the castle and estuary. Large, comfortable room, large comfortable bed and an unexpected bag with breakfast waiting outside bedroom in the morning Able to leave case at the property while visiting the castle. A great location in centre of town, near castle, bus stop and station.

The place was deserted at check in time so had to phone the owner who came over especially to let me in! Not sure if he had forgotten I was coming. Room on top (3rd)floor so needed help with carrying case up.

Absolutely perfect location in the centre of the town right next to the Castle and within walking distance of the town full of eateries and quaint pubs. We had a delightful bright and airy room overlooking the Castle. The rooms are above the pizza restaurant and bar but very quiet. We ate pizzas in our room and they were the best I've ever had! A continental breakfast of croissants butter jam fruit juice fruit salad and yoghurt was delivered outside our room in the morning which was a wonderful surprise as I hadn't realised it was included. The coffee machine in the room was also a bonus! Beds really comfy and we will be back

The bathroom was a little chilly and when the window blind in the room was pulled down we found it did not have a cord and we could not raise it back up.
