Lovely hotel, great value for money, spacious & quiet room, lovely bar & seating area with a great view from the restaurant, friendly staff.

Breakfast was tasty. However, would be nice to be able to customise the cooked breakfast eg. how many of each item you want or include it in the buffet. More selection of pastries would be a good addition eg. pain au chocolats/chocolate twists. Shower & shower head could’ve been cleaned better.

The Manager & all staff where friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent whilst sitting looking out at the Great Orme, pier, sea etc in dining room which was very nice, furnishing looked new as was the bar area the night before. The location is perfect to walk to the Theatre and walk on prom with dogs early morning, not far to walk to pier and shops either. Our bedroom was a good size, shower was also good size, water hot. Bedroom furniture was in good condition and solid, bed & pillows nice and comfy, slept well. The only downside is the walls and ceiling are in need of new plastering but room had been painted. Some TLC in wood and plastering outside and inside of hotel but overall that did not deter from the enjoyment of our stay.

I like the full size kettle and cups, although no biscuits. Bed linen and towels where spotless. Good lighting and there was good hanging space and plenty mirrors. Staff where very friendly and helpful

Shower curtain, moves with the water pressure so kept sticking to me when I moved. Solid screen would be better. Water was only Luke warm There was a nice selection for breakfast but again only Luke warm

Lovely dining room and lounge and excellent views of the sea. Enjoyed breakfast. Very relaxed atmosphere. Place of character.

I would welcome biscuits in the hospitality tray.

The bed and pillows was very comfy. Staff friendly.

I got room 117A and by mistake I unlocked room 117 , so didn't like the fact that the same key opened to 2 different rooms.

The breakfast was very good, infact some 'gentlemen' guests filled their large plates to overflowing! I thought they were unfair and greedy! The staff were hard pressed to keep the breakfast flowing, not their fault, but were as obliging as they could be. It was very good with choices of Cereals followed by a good choice of cooked breakfast followed by toast and marmalade or honey. A good pot of strong coffee or tea with the necessary or not sugar or milk. All very good and welcome and served with a cheery greeting and smile. Thankyou lovely Staff. The Manager Helio Correia was also an excellent asset to the Hotel being very able to help in all situations and did his very best to achieve to the very good satisfaction of his hotel guests. I hope to hear that he was able to achieve the refurbishment and redecoration of The County Hotel to his best satisfaction as I know and am sure that is his very best determination. He is a very good, capable and hardworking man and I look forward to hearing that the County Hotel has been restored to it's former glory, which is as it deserves to be. I and my family certainly hope so and as an asset to lovely Llandudno itself. Thankyou to all Staff and County Hotel Manager Helio Correia.

Great location. Given a sea view. Staff were excellent.

Tired and in need of painting and refurbishing. The entrance has outside tables. People drop rubbish and cigarette tips. I know they shouldn’t need to but staff should try and sweep up regularly as it gives an awful first impression of the hotel. I know staff shortages would make it difficult. Or maybe a sign on the tables and a nice wooden bin asking people to leave their rubbish in the bin provided. This is not the staff’s fault and a task that should not be necessary but it would improve the welcome entrance no end!

The breakfasts were lovely and always staff on hand to top things up and see to your requirements. All staff were very friendly, it was nice that the hotel welcomes pets!! Room, and beds were comfy, bit of colour in there would have made the room nicer and a bit more cosy.

i felt the hotel really needed a good cleaning in some areas, even as a pet owner myself i felt the state of the carpet in the bedroom was bad, even for a standard room you expect cleanness!! Although the room was only standard i thought a few homey touches wouldn't go amiss, maybe a few more pictures and a couple of coloured cushions would help the rooms look more inviting when you first enter, as it was lacking that feeling.

Fantastic location right on seafront and at the quieter end of town. Well placed for takeaways but also the wonderful Dylan's restaurant, which is on the same block I love these grand Victorian hotels that have seen better days. We had breakfast in The Ballroom. You could imagine Victoria's in all their splendour dancing there. Staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast good and good value.

It is a bit shabby and not always spotlessly clean. The heating in the room was not on, but staff immediately supplied a fan heater. On the first night, some rowdy guests upstairs kept me awake till 5.30 am. When I told reception in the morning, they immediately offered to move me and showed.mebtge alternatives. I liked the room, so they checked that my noisy neighbours had left before I stayed the best night. They really couldn't have been kinder and also told me to report it during the night if it happened again.

The room was out of the way on the bottom floor, which was good since we had our dog with us. The beds were comfortable, the telly worked well, and there was also a bath in the bathroom with very hot water, which was a pleasant surprise. The location of the property was great as it was right across from the seafront. The property was very good value for money.
