I had a fantastic stay here during my Norfolk Coast Path hike with my spaniel as a treat away from camping. The room was tastefully decorated and clean, with a lovely waterfall shower and huge mirrors! I had supper and breakfast, both of which were delicious and I could not fault the waiting staff for both meals. Additionally, the duty manager Jack was attentive and chatty which was wonderful as I had barely spoken to anyone all week on my hike. Finally, my hiking attire did not conform to the smart casual dress code and the staff were very kind in allowing me to wear my fleece and crocs inside which I fully appreciated.
My only quarrel with the property was that the end of the lawn leads rather abruptly onto the crumbling cliff edge. I was very concerned the following morning to discover this as it feels as though an over zealous dog may somehow launch itself off. I appreciate not wanting to put up a solid wall so as not to obstruct the wall, but perhaps a slightly more substantial fence may be in order?

I have spent more money for budget hotel chains than I had for this. I got a lot for £55, the room was exceptional with en-suite bath. Beautiful looking hotel with amazing view onto the sea. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and up to a good standard.
There were a few small things. Firstly I believe that you could put a bit more variety on the menu. I appreciate it is a seaside hotel, but menu was mainly fish based, which I didn't fancy at the time and no real alternatives. Would say an extra egg at breakfast and some warmer sausages. Television was a bit too small and putting the electric kettle under it wasn't a wise idea. Also would be an idea to do something with the garden. Got a good deal of space, put some flower beds in etc.

Room No 7 was superb, four poster bed, great view and huge bathroom. Facilities were excellent and the staff (Jack) very helpful. Breakfast was excellent and Parking down the side of main entrance excellent. As I had stayed before we were entitled to a free upgrade so very pleased with that!
The bath plug seemed faulty as it let out water, the meal in the restaurant was good but the lobster mousse disappointing, maybe a small portion of lobster would have been better. However, a reasonable price and good choice of wine. Staff were very friendly and accomodating.

Absolutely loved my stay here, the staff were friendly, kind and made me feel at ease. The location is superb, facilities are clean and a generous size. I didn't pay for a sea view but I got one, and I would definitely recommend staying here and will be back in the future. The breakfast was absolutely stunning too!
The TV remote on/off button didn't work but I could manually turn it on and then use the remote. The room was rather hot so having a fan might be useful during summer months. Other than that absolutely perfect.

The hotel was very comfortable with a feel of space. Grass lawn with tables and chairs for afternoon teas etc was excellent with a wonderful sea view. Staff were very helpful.
Felt concerned about electrical features in room 19 & 20 with long extensions and sockets for equipment. Felt this needed to be updated and corrected in a general room refurbishment. Size of bathroom insufficient and wc rarely cleared contents without re-flushing. Would use hotel again but not same room.

This is a lovely hotel staffed with excellent people. They are all friendly and very professional. I had a meal in the bar which was absolutely perfect and served with care. The room itself was very comfortable and my dog was supplied with his own blanket and towel....and some treats which he really appreciated!! The hotel grounds are wonderful. Overall it was a lovely stay and I thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was lovely, gardens and the view were great. The main blonde lady who seemed to be in charge most of the time was fabulous. Food was really good. Lots of cool doggies visited the bar every night.
The manager dude decided to show a new staff member how the fire alarm worked one morning without giving the guests a heads up, so we leapt up, got dressed quickly and headed to the door where he was all, 'Oh yeah, no, it's just, like, a test.' Telly and internet both went off around 9.30 our first night there.

A touch of luxury by the coast. Good service and food. Very friendly and helpful staff. My room was very comfortable and the bathroom was more than adequate..I even requested a packed lunch for my train journey home and it was lovely. Good location for the local amenities. The building was full of character inside and out. Wood panels and woodburners in the bar and comfortable lounge area, too . I was attending a folk festival in the village so it wasn't too far to walk. It is dark in the evening as no street lights so make sure you take a torch. I was lent one by a member of staff.
Nothing. It was all good.

We received a wonderful welcome when we arrived. All the staff were friendly. I was very impressed by the attention given to providing gluten free options when dining. The seaview suite was excellent.
Our first breakfast was disappointing with poor service but that was a one off. A little more local information, like bus timetables, would have been helpful.

Lovely rooms and superb restaurant . Fantastic views and decent cocktails
Heating was not up to scratch . The rooms were cold on arrival and unfortunately it was windy and the windows were a bit drafty. It was only 7 degrees outside , dropping to 2 degrees overnight. Unfortunately the heating was set to go on to low overnight . Supplemental oil radiators were only provided for 2 of our 4 rooms .
