It was clean (ignoring the carpet) and comfy. Staff helpful and breakfast nice. Well situated and in deal centre. 5 mins walk to the beach and a stones throw from the railway station.

The room could do with a carpet vax's. The road noise, techno beat from the music and the bloke snoring next door were a bit noisy, but they explain that and you are provided earplugs. There were no pillow protectors and I'm unsure of a mattress protector. The soap dispenser was hanging by one screw on the wall and the carpet could do with a good wash. I wouldn't use this as more than a one or two night base as the room I'd quite small.

That it suited me personally with regards to what I expected. The added bonus was getting breakfast included. Plus I was able to leave my luggage and collect later in the day. That is fabulous service in my opinion. Brilliant price as well for this accommodation. I will add that I am not easily pleased.

Nothing not to like Though just a word of caution this accommodation is over a pub and next to a main road. Did that bother me at all during my stay. Not at all. It was hardly noticeable - just a distant hum through the double glazing. They even provide ear plugs for guests comfort.

A shockingly nice, spacious room! Very clean and contemporary with a fan available in the room. Plus the pub downstairs has great food, including the breakfast. All the staff were lovely. Yes, it's noisy at night from the DJ there on weekends, but they're very upfront about so you know to expect it - and they provided earplugs in the room :) though the sound didn't bother me at all and I was able to go to bed. Better yet, join the fun downstairs! Essentially across the street from the train and barely 2-3 blocks from the shoreline. Will definitely stay there again!

Good location near the station, short walk to shops, restaurants, bars, sea front. Bar had a nice atmosphere and the breakfast/other food were all good value. Worked our way through half the cocktail menu which were all well made. It had quite a nice outside area at the real. And seemed well frequented.

As a lot have already mentioned in various reviews music plays until about 2am Fri/Sat. We knew about it before hand and after a good meal/few drinks/nice walk depending on where your room is, it’s likely you won’t hear it for long. Of 4 of us it was only me that took a while to nod off! It wouldn’t put me off staying again.

Very helpful when checking in, we were shown to our room and he told us all about late night access and breakfast in the morning plus how to get help anytime we needed it. Lovely clean, comfortable room, nice shower too, quite quiet considering we were on a main road. Nice atmosphere in the pub during the evening and a great breakfast in the morning, listening to him serving other guests they seem to accommodate every need, we certainly felt very well looked after and welcome, we'll certainly be coming back again.

Leaving, we wish we could've stayed longer but had to come home for family commitments.

We had a great stay here Monday- Friday whilst working in the area, all of the staff were very polite and helpful, quick check in and taken upto our room, we came down for food in the bar the first evening... quick service and great meal. Many screens showing different sports, pool table which can be paid via card aswell as cash. Our final evening we spent with the head chef for a few drinks and pool and got to know a bit about the area. Will definitely use this place when working in the area again

Friendly staff/host. Lovely comfortable and clean room. Complimentary ear plugs (room was above a pub open until 1 am) which really did block out sound. Perfect location for us as we needed Deal town centre and close proximity of the station so you couldn't really get better. Cheap weekend parking behind the hotel in the station car park.

Unfortunately we were right by the main door so our room vibrated every time someone let the door slam and this kept going until at least closing time at 1 am. I guess staying in a pub on a Saturday night you should expect noise. The ear plugs were fab at blocking out the actual noise, but obviously couldn't do anything for the vibrating of the whole room. I'm assuming other rooms might not have had such a big impact. However after 1.30am all was silent.

It was very convenient ,being just yards from the station , and just 5 min walk from shops and beach . The room was very well equipped, modern, clean, quiet. The included breakfast was huge. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.

You are informed, after booking, that at weekends the pub downstairs is a live music venue til 0230, and you could hear music in the room . I was there on a Tuesday and it was absolutely fine. In fact, I tied to buy a beer at 2250 and they had closed the tills, so I couldn't.

The room was lovely and clean and the staff were all lovely and friendly . Couldn't have asked for a better perfect location. With everything that we needed. The room was very nice . We had everything we needed hair dryer ironing board and iron . Plenty of tea and coffee supplies. Would definitely stay again .

It's quite near the main road but with the triple glazing you can't hear the traffic. Other than that it was terrific 💯 and the staff were excellent. The price was extremely good.

Friendly, clean and it hands down was the best cooked breakfast I have had in many years. It reminded me of my late Mum's famous breakfasts and I'm telling you that is saying something. So many places do not pay attention to how the breakfast is cooked and the result is a very moderate meal indeed. But the breakfasts I had were splendid. Hash browns that were perfectly crunchy on the outside like roast potatoes, carefully cut and cooked properly mushrooms, a beautifully poached egg, and properly cooked sausages and bacon. Oh and then there was the toast. That's how to do the toast. Gorgeous toast. I was so impressed because I travel frequently and just lament the loss of skilfully cooked breakfasts. So here was like they used to be cooked. I was so impressed that I asked for the name of the chef. She was called Mel. Please let her know she is doing it right, so right.

I was so impressed by all of it. I was a bit grumpy with the bar manager but she remained so professional and polite. The young man Tommy who runs the place impressed me immensely too. There's a bit of a buzz about the place. It feels good.
