The staff were attentive, kind, helpful and approachable. There were thoughtful points such as handgel available in the rooms and a heater and fan present so you could make your room comfortable, the bed was also comfy. I received messages during my stay to check if there was anything staff could help with which was very thoughtful. The atmoshpere was relaxed and comfortable, all the staff i met were hospitable. The full english breakfast was probably the best i have ever had - the food was cooked excellently, piping hot and tasty - delicious. There was a wide variety to choose from for for the cooked part of the breakfast including kippers, eggs benedict, continental. This hotel is located right on the seafront, so excellent location for public transport, shops and a day out at the beach.

The building is old-fashioned and so has steep stairs, not a complaint as it is the nature of the building, just if anyone struggles with this then do not stay on the top floor! The choice of fruit for breakfast looked a bit sorry for itself

Breakfast was very nice, plenty of choice, yoghurts, cereal, juice, continental style, full English, or fish & various other cooked choices, tea coffee. The location of the hotel was right opposite the seafront, the room was nice & clean, comfortable, the bathroom was huge, but I think the shower over the bath not ideal would benefit having a separate shower as it was hard to control the water temperature, the bedroom was at the back of the hotel which was fine,

There were complimentary toiletries and water that you could make tea or instant coffee with. Some biscuits as well. Sink, hair dryer and a place to hang clothes with clothes hangers. The staff were great. Nice and understanding. The best thing was the quality of the breakfast which was included.

The wifi wasn't great in my room. Half the time, it wasn't working, and the other half, it was slow. I used mobile data a lot. The bath robe had a small stain on it. I wasn't sure if it was clean. The water pressure in the shower could be better.

Fantastic location, opposite the pier and near the pubs on the sea front. The staff were all very friendly and polite. If I ever visit Deal again, this will be my preferred option. Also the weather was perfect so that always helps. The breakfast was included in my room rate and was fantastic. Enjoying a view of the sea with the morning sunshine streaming in. All in all a very pleasant stay.

This is not a complaint, given the age and style of the building. The shower and toilet (shared facilities) were both rather cramped. Don't let this put you off.

Great place to stay. Room 5 Nicely set out room. The bed was very comfortable . A supply of water coffee, tea etc and biscuits The lamps at the side of the bed, have charger ports as well as plugs for charging, great idea. The shower room spacious great shower. The view from the room was the street that was no heartache as the hotel is true to its name. Waterfront Great view from the dinning room of seafront and Deal Pier.. A good choice of breakfast was available. And, freshly cooked as per choice, mine poached eggs that were 'spot on' The hotel is perfectly situated to walk to Deal, Walmer and Dover Castles and to Sandwich. The hotel is close to other amenities bus stop and train station town centre I emailed in advance , and arranged to drop off my luggage before check.Great service. The staff were friendly, polite . For what I needed, i couldn't ask for better. I needed somewhere close to a party I was going to overnight and bed and breakfast. Originally there were 3 of my family but in the end it was just me. Three people bed and breakfast 80 quid. No better value. Hotel was clean room was spacious enough. Only thing was there were shared bathroom facilities for our budget room. There are rooms with ensuite so choose one of those if you need. Full choice of breakfast items, gluten free, vegan options. Definitely recommend. The beach is a minute away. and its right in the heart of town. It was winter so it was quiet. There are restos close by.

Parking in Deal is a bit tricky. I stayed saturday night so its free from 6pm and sundays. If you are driving check out the car parks before hand. There is one right next door to the hotel but i don't know the charges. There isnt a lift so note if you have accessibility needs.

Great location on the sea front. Great cooked breakfast. Great relaxed atmosphere in hotel with friendly helpful staff.

I paid for a cheaper room so I knew what I was getting for tthe price I paid. The room was a decent size and the bathroom was a good size. The bed linen was fresh and clean. The bathroom was clean and plenty of hot water, but old fashioned pink suite. The mattress felt old and not a good standard, the pillow was to big and hard, but as mentioned, I expected this for the price I paid.

My partner and I have stayed here many times before and we love the hotel and the staff are always welcoming. Sea view room is a bonus when available (lovely and clean as always); clean bathroom (shared) and the breakfast was (as always) superb (thanks Steve and Maria)! We could only stay one night as the hotel was booked up for the other 3 nights we were staying in Kent... disappointing as we would have been much happier here than at the Premier Inn in Dover. Thanks to all the staff at the Waterfront. We will see you again soon!

A higher table for the kettle, tea and coffee etc. A tiny niggle which does not take anything away from staying at this wonderful hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for our Anniversary. The location is perfect. The view from our room was stunning. The room was comfy we slept well both nights. Tea and coffee facilities and water supplied to our room each day. We had dinner on our first night in the hotel and breakfast both mornings which was very nice. The Host and staff are very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

There wasn't anything we didn't like in the hotel. Nothing to complain about. Would recommend.
