Everyone at the hotel were absolutely amazing. We were there for our wedding morning and they let us use the whole of the pub to get ready with all the bridesmaids. Lizzie and Darren were fantastic. Lizzie just went above and beyond to help us getting the bridesmaids drinks helping me, Darren making breakfast for people that weren't even staying at the hotel. They were absolutely fabulous. Thank you so much Lizzie she also put a few lovely touches in our room for when we got back from our wedding day which were amazing she even picked us up from our venue and brought us back to the hotel because we forgot our key

I stayed at the Vernon the night before my wedding and they were most helpful. All the bridesmaids and myself were able to use the whole of the pub to get our makeup and hair done which was amazing and Lizzy who was amazing making sure myself and all the bridesmaids had drinks and enough to eat ,She Couldn't have done any more to help us She was amazing She even picked us up from our venue as we forgot our key and took us back to the Vernon it was about 2:30 in the morning. Darren was great. He cooked breakfast for us all and even people who weren't staying there. I would recommend this place so much. It really made my day very special. The rooms were clean, comfortable and perfect for a wedding as we had the whole of the top floor to get ready. But in the end we used the pub which was so kind of them to let us. It seemed not to be a problem at all

Superb breakfast cooked to order. I enjoyed my evening meal, my friend didn't enjoy hers as much. Bonus was sitting outside admiring the countryside (even though it's on a main road there's not a great deal of traffic before/after peak times). The staff we met were amazing, very friendly & welcoming, so professional, polite & couldn't do enough for you - they had outstanding customer service skills.

The room was compact, but in all fairness it was a double room which had been made into a twin room for us. One bed had a lot of space around it, but the other had very little space to manoeuvre around it. Because the room is small & furnishing it is hard because there's 2 doors, an alcove & a window to take into account it will always function better as a double room in my opinion.

Beautiful countryside location. Outstanding bedroom and shower room with most up-to-date fittings, flooring and tiling. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Evening meal and freshly cooked breakfast to order. Well Worth the effort to get to with trusty sat-nav, especially if you need a calming drink on the terrace on your arrival. Topped off with great value for money, you will find it difficult to find better.

Can't think of anything that the hosts could do better. They even used summer weight duvet for cool sleep.

We stayed the night here after our wedding. The barman was really friendly, he even bought us a drink! The inside is really nicely presented and clean and although we didn't eat an evening meal, other guest's food looked lovely. The room was really clean and comfortable. Even though we were on the front by the road, you couldn't hear any traffic at all. The breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked. The lady who served us was so friendly and she took a couple of photos of us outside the building. Had a lovely time thank you.

It was lovely to meet Erica in person she was so informative and very kind. She cooks a hearty breakfast to set you up for the day and made our stay fantastic. Erica is a people's person. A good choice of areas to sit. Staff helpful and polite. Our room was comfortable, quite and clean with a very spacious bathroom. Thank you to the Chef very tasty food and beautifully presented. To sum up a wonderful birthday stay🥂. Before leaving we booked a return visit.

Need hooks near the shower to hang towels.

We just stopped over on our way to the Malvern Show, the staff were great and as we were late arriving stayed up till we got there, which was very much appreciated. Nice breakfast to get us started on our way to the show and we had a great day.

At first we thought the room might be noisy as it faced the junction the Vernon is situated at, however we were not disturbed at all which was very good. Otherwise no complaints at all, which is unlike me :)

Breakfast fine. Restaurant and staff very good. Good ambience. The location of the hotel is fine but a bit noisy for sleeping due to road traffic early morning. Our room was adjacent to the road. Music with drumming below kept us awake but it did stop at an appropriate time and wasn't mega loud. An attractive hotel with interesting history.

Maybe a nonslip surface in the shower to avoid risk of slipping over would have been good for 80+ year olds like my wife and I. Our room No4 was impossible to blank out all the light completely to make sleeping comfortable due to street light percolating in round curtain edges and the safety light above the door adding to it. On the plus side, and for the same reasons, finding the loo was made easier. None of these comments would stop me booking again should the occasion present itself.

Breakfast was great - freshly cooked and lots of choice. Buffet style continental as well. There are some quaint quirk features about the rooms - beams, etc. Fields around it - you can walk to the lovely craft barn nearby. We will be back!

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to staffing - we were informed before arrival. They hopefully have got a new chef now. Our room was quite small but cosy.

I was welcomed like a favourite aunty! Aggie greeted me by finding me a seat and getting me a coffee to warm me up on the coldest night of the year. I found The Vernon quite by accident, as the place I was staying at on the following night in Stratford was fully booked, but I am certainly planning to go back again. Great service, lovely food, a huge breakfast and so welcoming. Better facilities than some of the large chain hotels at half the price!
