Very nice situation, the property is welcoming & attractive. Staff are very friendly, knowledgeable & welcoming too. The rooms are clean & comfortable, with good quality furnishings, I am now into my fourth week of staying here, with two more booked. I'm very comfortable & this accommodation is good value for money & the biscuits are a real bonus!
My only gripe is that the toilet paper seems to be rationed!! The lovely folk on reception are always happy to furnish one with more. But this is a bit of a faff, having to make a special journey! But if that is all there is to comment about.... They are doing a great job. Well done.

Easy check in (slight confusion about where to go, as car park sign seemed to indicate reception was in pub!), friendly staff, comfortable bed, very convenient location for us. We will stay here again.
We stayed on one of the hottest nights of the year, during a heatwave that lasted over a week - the second this year. The member of staff at reception got us a fan - I asked if there was air con (no), or if there was a fan already in the room (no), but at least we got one. The lack of aircon made it a sticky night. With the increase in 'tropical nights' in the UK, where the temperature remains above 20 degrees, the hotel needs to consider either having fans in the rooms or retrofitting aircon. Also, I'm guessing that the same weight of duvet is on the bed in summer as in winter.

We found that one of the waitress stood out above others. She worked extreamy hard to provide a very friendly and supportive service. She is a credit to the restaurant. She served us on Saturday evening and Monday breakfast. Julia by name. Also we had very good support from the hotel staff member that provided additional support and assistance. Thank you to all.
Saturday evening in the restaurant, it was very noisey and overcrouded, plus the staff were overloaded and appeared to be exhausted. More staff should be provided in this situation. In the hotel: The shower was broken and difficlt to use. With the space of the room, it would have been very nice to have had some form of easy seating.

The bathroom comes equipped with plenty of towels, shower gel, hand wash etc. the towels are changed daily as long as you leave them in the bath. Card access to the room and into the hotel also. Really nice place. Comfortable beds, easy access to the pub from the hotel. Highly recommended.
When you travel with two teenagers the instantly want wifi. So although there was free wifi, the signal was bad unless you logged into it at the pub. Also there aren’t enough sockets or any USB charging ports for charging phones/tablets etc.

Very friendly, enthusiastic staff who did everything to help our family group of 25, including summoning medical assistance in the early hours when needed. Accommodation very comfortable and excellent value. It was an ideal venue for our family reunion, lots of space in both the breakfast area and restaurant to have drinks without dominating the other patrons. Food good value and quality and a varied selection to meet all needs. We had assembled from different areas of England and Wales, venue was an excellent location.
The lack of staff, those there had to work tremendously hard to ensure that we had a great time. Inevitably this did affect how long it took to get food.

The room and price was fine (comfortable, clean and warm), the tv remote was not working but the receptionist was very helpful in sorting it out. We were disappointed that the breakfasts at the weekend started so late as we had to get somewhere by 9.30am. If you are in the same situation there is an excellent cafe (Greenview Bar and Cafe) at the Kingfisher Golf Course which serves breakfast from 8.00am with a wide ranging menu, good food and free car parking about 7minutes drive away.

Staff were brilliant The first night , room had an issue with the blocked toilet system with foul smelling room. They dealt with my complaint quickly and moved me to another room for the second night. Housekeeping were also polite, asking if I needed anything as they were aware I was staying there a few days. Very clean room Great parking for Blue badge holders Great location
Toilet blockage Difficult to control heating system in room Couldn't open window fully due to safety latch

Room and bed very good
Had to wait for over an hour and a quarter for food to arrive. When ordering food was told that their was a 30 minute wait which was fine but over an hour not good at all Many complaints under staffed. If so long for good then they should have just closed the kitchen and no food available this would have stopped all the complaints and the staff getting so under pressure. Not very good leadership from the manager.

I've stayed here before and was eager to stay again when I needed to stay overnight in Redditch. However, I was so disappointed with our room. The bathroom was so outdated and shabby. The room was not welcoming, and nothing special about it at all. I actually think that they shoved us to the back of the hotel in the very cheap unused rooms! Having said all that, we were warm enough and the room was clean.... our main problem was Breakfast on Sunday morning. There are no signs in the hotel room, or by reception, or by main restaurant to inform you that breakfast doesn't start until 9am. Ultimately, after scouring the hotel for signs of life or the smell of bacon... we called a taxi at 8:30am and started our journey without breakfast. To be fair to the hotel, they did refund our breakfasts. Hopefully, if you book this hotel - because the location is great for Redditch - they will have put signs up now... Breakfast 9am on Sunday.
No Signage/Leaflets with Sunday breakfast timing. Bathroom (shower curtain especially old and dull white) and colourless unwelcoming bedroom.

Easy to check in (in the pub as we got there at 7pm ish) Friendly staff in the pub as there was no one on reception in the hotel when we arrived. Good food in the pub it's connected to. Comfortable bed and large room Room seemed 'soundproofed' enough (meaning we didn't hear anyone next to/above us/floorboards like sometimes in hotels)
It's not a complaint but our room was right next to the entrance to the reception/exit so when people came in, it was slightly disturbing until we got to sleep, so next time I would try and request a room further in.
