The apartment was really clean and in a great location. It perfect for what we wanted. The bathroom was really big with a bath & a shower. The check in & out was easy & the staff were really friendly. You get a money voucher for the NCP carpark near the castle which you are given on check out.

The bed settee wasn't the comfiest & dipped at the top/head so we felt like we were sleeping on a slant, we only stopped one night so managed ok but we wouldn't have wanted to sleep on it for more than one night. There was also a lot of noise from the bar next door till quite late (think it was about 2/3pm)

Beautiful rooms with high ceilings and huge windows. Really amazing location just a ten minute walk from Edinburgh Castle. Lots of great food nearby as well as grocery and shopping options. Highly recommend if you want to be close to all of the sites.

We arrived in the evening and did the self-check in option so we never met the staff. We were a bit worried because we didn't receive the check-in instructions until the afternoon of our arrival. Everything went really smoothly though after that and we really enjoyed our stay.

The cleanliness of the place was excellent. The staff was also very nice and welcoming. It was very close to all the main Edinburgh attractions and very good pubs. 10 min away from the castle and the Royal Mile. 5 min away from the train station.

There is no elevator, so for seniors it is a big climb if you are on the second floor (the building has very high ceilings). Also if you have a lot of bags it is a bit heavy to carry them. I tried to use the bathtub but there was a leak and the floor started flooding.

The room was lovely!! Especially in relation to what they charge! The staff were amazing! So welcoming and accommodating! They learnt of my partners birthday, we arrived at the room later the next day 10 balloons all over the floor, a helium filled balloon and a bottle of Prosecco! They even allowed us to store our bags there after checkout, until later that day so we could explore that bit more! We will DEFINITELY be returning! Thank you all!

Next time I would prefer the street view but I can’t say anything was to dislike at all?

The room size was great! Very clean and modern interiors. There is a small cafe downstairs which made it very convenient for us to have breakfast there daily as we were a family of 6 with kids and grandparents. They had several vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. The location was fantastic. We took the train from London and it was a 10 minute walk tops!

We were initially emailed that our two rooms would be on the same floor but when we checked in they gave us rooms on separate floors. It's a lot of stairs, mind you. SO that was inconvenient. Also, there is no staff you can reach out to after 5pm so if we needed something, there is none available to answer your questions. We expected daily housekeeping since it's a hotel, however there was none.

Easy check in, very pleasant staff Room was immaculate Well equipped Good shower Great location

Sold as a Junior Suite with a garden view. Anybody expecting a "suite" is in for a disappointment. It's a small double room, the garden view I take it were the hanging baskets on the wall in the small basement patio which really could do with a power wash

Really gorgeous apartment! The decor was opulent and setting so central. We were fine walking to top floor but others may not be so if your not maybe tell them. Can’t store luggage there but you can at other apartments down the road and it felt super safe. We got an amazing deal I took my teenage daughters we all loved it especially the bath. The price shoots up in Summer time so maybe go in winter if you want to get a cheap deal.

Nothing was great.

Great location! Central to everything. Luxourous sized and styled bathroom with great bathtub. Comfortable beds. Clean and bright room with a lovely view of the old streets of Edinburgh. Very quiet! Great cafe downstairs. (had breakfast there. Great food and drinks) Staff were friendly and let us store luggage before and after check in and check out.

Pull out couch bed was a generous size however it was difficult for us to move around the room when pulled out. It just meant we only pulled it out before sleeping. No separate lobby or reception area for the hotel guests as the business is linked to the cafe downstairs. It was a busy cafe meaning it took a while to speak to staff. Some staff did not seem know much, so we had to wait for the manager. In a group of four with luggage it was awkward to stand within the cafe and wait with staff and customers walking trying to pass through and such. That being said the staff were lovely to talk to.

Fantastic central location, less than a 2 minute walk from George St shops and restaurants. All staff were very professional and friendly. They accommodated our request for early check-in, we very much appreciated this. Will definitely return when next in Edinburgh.

Our room looked onto the back of next-door restaurant. It was a little noisy later in night and early morning, but not enough to ruin our stay...just city life!

A very nice quaint cafe central to the city, which makes it a perfect location for your stay in Edinburgh. Prices are very reasonable. The suite was very spacious with nice interior furniture and decor. We went for the delux queen suite. The bed was very comfortable indeed. You can also have your breakfast in the cafe which we thought was of superb quality. It was a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff are very nice and friendly but they are very busy.

The shower was a bit intermittent for hot water, but didn't cause a major issue. I assume this is because the kitchen and/or other suites use the same boiler? While the staff are very nice and friendly there are not many of them. Getting ourselves checked in and sorted out took a bit of time because it is the same staff who run the cafe who also deal with the suite bookings. Once they have a couple of people placing cafe orders they soon have their hands full so you can be left waiting for a bit.
