The location was amazing, easy walking distance for everything. 10mins walk to train, 30mins to castle. 1 min walk to Rose Street, which has loads of bars and restaurants, etc. The apartment was really clean and looks newly refurbished. The main reason I ended up choosing this apartment was the fact that it has a lift. All the buildings are so tall in Edinburgh and at least 5/ 6 storeys high. I would highly recommend it. We stayed in and cooked a few meals, and the kitchen was the best equipped we have ever had. Everything worked well and high end. A co-op 5mins walk and tesco 10mins walk away, gave us everything we needed. We slept really well, tit was very quiet all the time.
The only negative was as you approached the front door, as its down a quiet side street it all looked a bit grubby outside with lots of bins from other buildings etc. First impression aren't great from outside but as soon as u walk in the door it's all nice and clean. But I'm not really sure the owners can do much about this.

The apartment was very clean, nicely decorated, close to a lot of attractions, I really liked having to use a pin opening the doors instead of keys. The bathroom was spacious and very clean, loved the bath products, smelled nice, they provide enough toilet tissue and towels, most places just give you two and don’t refill, they did, The thermostat is a plus, it’s nice to be able to control the room temperature and the heating works well,
The street it’s on, lots of bins outside, there was a homeless person sleeping outside the main entrance on the 25th, and it being a holiday the bins were overflowing, not a nice sight but just a minute walk and you are right in town and it was beautifully decorated that it made up for the rest.

The apartment itself was great. Very clean and I loved having a washing machine. Plenty of space and when we needed extra towels and toilet paper your staff was very prompt.
The street it was on made me uncomfortable as there was a homeless person sleeping right next to the front door. We got used to him and as the week went on I felt more at ease. However there were two men snorting cocaine (I assume or some other white powder drug) one morning and that was definitely not ok. Every day before we left the apartment I checked to see if they were down there again. I understand this is probably out of your control. Also our last night there the fire alarm went off and the entire building had to evacuate. The fire department did not find a cause. Just some other suggestions, perhaps a few cleaning supplies, we had a coffee spill due to a wobbly table (which you all fixed promptly thank you) and we didn't have anything to clean it up except a hand towel.

The location was close to trams/buses/2 deck city tour buses. We were able to walk from the apartment to Arthurs seat and all over. The apartment was very nice, roomy, separate bathrooms . Nice kitchen.
Had a lot of trouble getting info about our unit number. The offices were closed over the weekend, and weren't actually in this building. Prior emails (from US)but these did not go to my email account. Got a message to check spam, but no help. We could get into front door with last four of my phone number but didn't know our unit number. This was a very expensive place, our highest on our month long trip and started to get worried we couldn't get in. After several minutes an email arrived in junk mail folder. Since they wont send this info very far ahead of time its nerve wracking to think you wont be able to get in.

Read the reviews about the homeless man who sleeps by the entryway and was hesitant to book, but the 1 BR apartment is very nice and very large, and with the windows closed relatively quiet for being so central in New Town. Because of the layout there isn't 100% privacy for the second bed as it's in the same room as the living room/kitchen, just separated by a half wall. Wouldn't book this if you're two couples on holiday, unless that's what you like. It's better geared for families to let the ones who aren't paying sleep in the common area. Everything is very modern, very clean. We had no issues whatsoever.
If you've read through previous reviews than you know about the homeless man who sleeps by the entryway. Well, they aren't fabricated. He's harmless, doesn't talk to himself, and posed no threat, but for whatever reason other folks seemed to want to converse with him. Well, if you like to keep the apartment cool you need to open the windows, and if you do, you can hear it all.

Fully equipped, clean, spacious, 2 separate bathrooms, very close to city center, walking streets, bars, restaurants, but not noisy due to being at a back-alley. Very easy to approach from tram station. Building has a lift, individual code access both to the building and to the apartment (no key needed). Company's office is at the opposite building, where luggages can be stored and if need any help. They send all the check-in infos prior to arrival.
The "main" bedroom's windows looking to the street where the street lamps making very strong brightness all the night, even below fully lowered curtains, so that can be disturbing if somebody needs full darkness for sleep (for me not). Anyway curtains are expedient to keep lowered during morning/daytime too to keep privacy, because there are offices at the opposite building. Room's doors can't keep opened, they're closing automatically if aren't chocked. For non-UK travelers adviseable to bring/buy plug converters for sockets because there aren't any at the rooms or at the office. Not any major problems at all!

The apartment was extremely clean and conveniently located. We appreciated having a washer/dryer, large refrigerator and a room safe. The water pressure was great and the hot water was very hot. The furnishings were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with ample dishes, cookware, etc for our needs, and everything was in good condition. The building is well maintained and the area was quiet. The check in process was communicated clearly and sufficiently prior to check in so that we would have had time to contact the property if we had any questions. The check out process was also very easy. It was only a 7 minute walk to the bus station. There were great restaurants within one block of the apartment and a grocery store about 5 minutes walk away. We would definitely stay here again.
It would be helpful to include operating instructions in the guest book for the washer/dryer. We were not used to the single unit set up so we had to look up the model and download a manual in order to use it properly.

The apartment was well designed to maximize space. It felt very open, clean, and spacious, but also very comfortable and with plenty of storage for clothes, suitcase, etc. The kitchen was quite exceptional for a rental, with high-end appliances, including a dishwasher, and more cookware/dishes than you usually find. The bathroom was gorgeous, with lovely soaps and a magnificent shower. Also appreciated the recycling, and the thermostat was easy for me to use. (I am not used to radiant heat.) Bed was great along with the dark window shades. Good lighting. Nice closet for the laundry with drying rack, etc. Everything worked well and was easy to use, which is very helpful when you are jet-lagged. Convenient location for public transit and major sights. Amazing array of restaurants within a few blocks. I was very sad to leave. Would be so happy to live here for a year. Or forever.
The only small difficulty was the street address, as that area of New Town Edinburgh has a slightly unusual street system. But that was only upon my first arrival, after very little sleep. Under normal circumstances, it would not be an issue.

Well appointed and convenient location for visiting central Edinburgh. Views were amazing
The property is accessed via an alleyway which was really unpleasant as it was dirty and had lots of rubbish lying around. When we arrived at the office to try to leave our luggage, initially the staff were unhelpful and bordering on unpleasant as a deposit had not gone through on my card. This hadn’t been mentioned at the time of booking. Once this was sorted we were told we could access the property straight away but the codes hadn’t been activated so it took 20 mins to actually get access.

What a perfect little hide away in the city centre of Edinburgh! We really liked staying in this perfect romantic apartment for two. A comfy bed, good climate control, great kitchen with oven and a bathroom with luxury shampoo and bath. We had quiet nights and explored the city on foot from the apartment. Definitely recommend this place!
Nothing everything was perfect and conform the pictures om Booking.com . Best stay in a city centre apartment ever..... it exceeded our expectations. We didn't even want go out for dinner.....doing our groceries at the big Marks & Spencer's supermarkt on the high street with such a great selection of food.
