Queen Street where the apartment is located is the elegant Georgian area. At each and of the road which is a main road, were Charlotte Square and St Andrews Square. Cafes and restaurants were everywhere ( Dishoom, Wagamama, Gordon Ramsey and so many Edinburgh eateries) and there was excellent shopping for quality labels. The Portrait Gallery is on Queen St and Stewart Christie the highly regarded kilt makers. The apartment was very spacious and had a full kitchen. Good laundry facilities.

It was hard work carrying the suitcases up 3 flights of stairs.

The location, the old style building.. and the painter that helped us with our bags on the day we left

The fact of no lift and 4th floor.. car park facilities too.. but we were lucky to have parking at the rear - would have been easier if at the front

This location has so much space which was really lovely. Comfy beds and pillows etc, great showers, great facilities in the kitchen

The only things I think need changing are the towels are quite small so if you are able to bring your own towel I would. Also the chest of drawers in our room kept getting stuck/is very stiff so many just needs looking at. But totally minimal and didn’t affect our enjoyment of the stay

Location, size, comfy bed, clean, safe, good shower, big apartment, nice appliances.

Expensive, no basic cooking food, inadequate cooking utensils, no detergent.

Location is amazing. Accessibility 100 percent. Efficient and friendly staff who did their best . Walking distance to all attractions . Baggage storage facilities are added bonus. Excellent shower and other facilities. Spacious and well maintained . Will definitely return when in Edinburgh .

Feel kitchen should be better equipped.A beautiful stove and kitchen but blunt knives and worn out plastic cutting board and scratched ill maintained Teflon non stick pans and just 1 silicon ladle. For families with children it is difficult to cook without proper cookware. The only downside to this otherwise amazing place.

The apartment is really spacious and in a very convenient location in the new part of the city but still really close to the main landmarks. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom offers the most amazing toiletries. The staff was really responsive and polite. The apartment has a high ceiling which gives the local vibe! We also appreciated the towels replacement and gurbish collection in the middle of our stay.

The main drawback is the fact that when we booked this apartment, it was mentioned that your child stays for free; however they informed me afterwards that this is only if we bring our own sheets and duvet otherwise the charge would be 15 pounds per day. I think this should have been clear from the beginning as I chose this property over others for a better price but in the end I paid more! Also we had a challenge to regulate the hot water in the bathroom so some instructions would helpful. Lastly, the sofa bed had a really bad and thin mattress when we opened it so we preferred to keep it closed for our child even if that means that she would sleep in a short bed.

The location was perfect, the house was spacious and comfortable, booking office very friendly. Easy instructions for self-check-in with an access code. Private parking close by.

The real love for detail was lacking a little. For example, no towel hooks in the bathrooms or a chair in the bedroom. Not the end of the world, but just that final touch that wasn't there. Also, the water pressure fully dropped when both showers were used at the same time, so that was a bit clumsy. And the house was poorly insulated, the windows in the living room had cracks so wide that you could stick your finger through, which made it a challenge to heat the house with 5C° outside. But we must admit, this is all a bit nit picking and mainly meant as feedback to the property owners. We still highly recommend the place, the location is amazing, the office was very easily reachable for questions and the house is very nice and spacious.

The photos are representative. The high ceilings are impressive and the communal space is large. Bedrooms are good sized and beds are comfortable. Location was great - very convenient to walk to many restaurants and to both Old and new Town. Parking was convenient. Would stay there again.

Felt like everything was a bit bare-bones. For instance, we would have appreciated more than 1 towel per person. (There were no additional towels/linens.) Sparse but adequate furnishings. Minimal supplies in the kitchen. For what we were spending that felt a bit underwhelming. The bathroom could use a bit of a refresh. The doors to every room automatically shut and had to be propped open which was a bit of a hassle.

Easy to find, well furnished, good decor, well maintained, free WiFi with a smart TV, lots of amenities provided, very clean including communal areas. Very quiet in the bedrooms, though the sitting room facing the busy road was noisy. Lots of places to eat nearby, walking distance to Waverly station, plenty of shops nearby.

There are two doors to enter the property, the first opens inwards, the second outwards towards the first with a very little gap when the first was opened. This made it difficult to enter with children. An outdoor light for the keypad, or backlit keypad would've been good.

Property was very clean, well kept. Lots of space for family of 3 n should also work with 4-5. 6 mins walk to Princess street where you can hop on trams or airport bus. Lots of restaurants n pubs around. Near shopping street n 20-30 mins walk to various attractions; Royal mile, Edinburgh castle, Museum, scenic Deans Village, etc.

Was staying on ground level unit 2. Same level as Main door entrance used by other guests in higher units. Main Door slam each time someone comes in or leaves the apartment block. Can also hear footsteps of people on 2nd floor. Internet a little blotchy sometimes so TV program hangs sometimes.
