Kitchen complete. Washer/drier. Lift is helpful if your room is upstair. Location is in between and near to calton hill and arthur seat. There is maycheelin the chinesse shop and tesco behind the hotel.

It's around 800m to Royal Mile and the road is going up towards the royal mile. So sometimes I ran out my breath, but it's not a problem. No luggage storage, but I think its fine with me too. Although it's near to a bus stop, the bus stop for waverley station or bus station is different, you need to walk more to a bus stop where you need to take high stairs towards calton hill. I brough a big and heavy luggage so it's painful. But overall, the stay was great.

Great location within walking distance of main attractions. Comfy beds. Well kitted out kitchen.

They put extra £50 for incidentals on my card and said I would get in back within 9 days. That's my money I wasn't going to get incidentals!

convenient location, equipped with everything I needed, friendly staff, relaxed ambience. it had a kitchen, which meant you could self-cater if you wanted.

it had the air of a comfortable hostel although the facilities were better than that and the price was definitely not hostel! it is being refurbed although I did not view any of the refurbishments. I fear it will mean prices will go up making it beyond the reach of an average traveller. Edinburgh needs to watch out or there will be fewer visitors.

Spacious rooms, plenty of room in the apartment. Comfortable beds and seating.

The hot water in the kitchen was scalding, there should be sign warning hot water, could be a hazard. The accessible shower was very noisy, which could frighten some people. There was black mould on the twin bedroom window, which was a disappointment.

The apartment was clean and well served with utensils for a protracted stay. It was relatively quiet for a city centre place, and, as a city centre place, it was ideally located for our needs. I don't know about the car parking as I travelled by train, but it was beautifully located. Didn't interact much with the staff, but they seemed fine. Really did enjoy this.

A lick of paint wouldn't go amiss, but other than that it was good.

location was great for exploring the centre of Edinburgh.

An excellent concept to have a fully equipped kitchen. It worked very well and enabled us to eat some healthier and more convenient food at times rather than having all meals out. The "room" was well laid out and functioned well. A good location close to the Scottish Parliament building yet surprisingly quiet (apart from the dawn seagull chorus (a problem for much od Eninburgh).

Badly designed shower regulator and no grab rails over the bath (a safety issue). Ineffective bathroom steam extraction (the fan achieves nothing unless the door is open but a notice tells you to keep the door shut). Nowhere to hang clothes in bathroom or anywhere other than six hangers in the wardrobe (not enough for two peolle for 8 nights). I dont think that the designers ever stayed there or tested the shower.

My 2 bedroom apartment was bigger than expected, clean and bright. Beds were comfortable, wifi strong, adequate cutlery and crockery, TV has Netflix. Reception staff responded fast, helpful and friendly. I like that there is 24h reception, daily room cleaning service, and lift. Location is great, can walk to Royal Mile and major attractions, Holyrood Park, 5min away was a bonus as we loved strolling in this lovely park. Tesco Express just behind, very convenient. Though I didn't get a car park space in the hotel carpark, I parked at Dynamic Earth, 2min walk away, which was big, safe and easy to make payment. Though there were many guests, it was still quiet and peaceful, everyone was considerate. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Floor creaks a lot! Had to walk softly and slowly when other members were asleep. Pots provided were quite small, they didn't have big pots but was kind enough to supply extra pots for me to use.

Two bedroomed and two bathrooms apartment on the sixth floor for four people was perfect. Had trouble finding the ensuite as when the bedroom door is opened it blocks the bathroom door, but with the help from the lovely lady on reception, we found it! Air-conditioning units were a bonus in all sleeping/living rooms. Didn’t try using the oven, the dishwasher or the washing machine (which is supplied with a little washing powder). However, did use the microwave, kettle and toaster – the toaster, very sensitive, barely browned the bread before setting off the smoke alarms. It’s good to know, the alarms are super sensitive, however, when you’re trying to toast bread, it was quite irritating and extremely noisy! We even tried opening all of the kitchen and dining room windows at the toaster, still set the smoke alarms off! All in all a very comfortable three night stay with fantastic views to Arthurs seat from the kitchen and dining room area. The doors to the dining room area are hung incorrectly so one shuts and one doesn’t so we left them open. Premium toiletries by the white company supplied in the bathroom, which was a nice touch. Electric shower didn’t have the best water pressure but was perfectly usable. Couldn’t get the heated towel rail to work and no instructions were supplied. Bed was a standard 4’6” double and very comfortable and the bedroom blackout curtains were very much appreciated. Definitely would rebook this venue when attending the fringe as it’s very close to a lot of the fringe venues.

A toaster that didn’t set it off the smoke alarm and instructions for the heated towel rail in the bathroom would have helped to have dried the shower towels. A few dishwasher tablets would also have been a welcomed addition to the kitchen.
