This is a great hotel/pub. Located in the heart of the village. We stayed there during a 4 day walking trip down the coast. 1 night (on the Friday). The bar was lively and food was superb. Drinks reasonable price and the atmosphere of the place was chilled and typically Cornwall. Folk just relaxed, dogs having a wander and no one really caring what they were wearing... Perfect. There was 3 of us so we had a triple room (1 x double and 2 x single beds - family room so to speak). It was £200 but split between 3 it didn't feel too pricy. A lovely place in a lovely village. bakery opposite is very good and poplar. Well worth a visit.

Nothing not to like.

We enjoyed our stay at the St. Ages Hotel. It was far away from the tourist crowds you meet at St. Ives and other places and it is a true experience of the real Cornwall. Sitting in front of the hotel, drinking a Cider and watching the community passing was one of our most exciting experiences. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the pub is the social center for the local community. The avocado toast fro breakfast was amazing

Unfortunately our family room was very small and the room overall lacked character. It had only small windows without any view. The price/value is not given for this type of comfort. Sadly, as apart from the room the St. Agnes Hotel is a true 10.

Staff who answered call and staff who booked in with was great, staff member at hotel late when got back fantastic, staff members in the morning at breakfast some members of staff were great and others not so great. Lovely building nice decor great food great parking in a village where there is no parking. would highly recommend.

The difference in staff interaction, not everyone are the same appreciate that, the stark difference in the morning gave the feeling of welcome and attentiveness to the feeling of going through motion's

Cosy room at the top of the house, compact but fine for a 2-night stay. The staff were helpful and the cooked breakfast delicious!

There was a long and steep climb up stairs to get to the room on the top floor, not great if (as was the case for us) you have heavy luggage and one of you has mobility issues (my wife has to use a walking stick to get about). But it’s hardly the hotel’s fault, as the building is old.

Stunning location. Lovely homely style room with quality oak furniture. Bed comfy with quality linen and fresh clean bright white towels. Exceptionally clean throughout the room and bathroom. Convenient parking. Vibrant great atmosphere pub with dining and swift service. Breakfast was excellent! Visited for work, would love to revisit for holiday one day!

The WiFi would not connect. Upon asking I was told that there were too many people connected. In the late evening there is noise from customers outside the front of the pub, directly below the bedroom window, which to be fair for the most was at a reasonable level....but there was one loud guy who was swearing, shouting and whooping he finally finished at around 11:40pm.

large rooms and good standard. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Moved our luggage from one room to other when we wanted to head out as we had two different rooms over two nigy stay Food very good from menu and lovely breakfast. Large outside area to drink or eat, sunny, good atmosphere and beachy relaxed playlists. Near trevanaunce cove (fave place for body boarding)

Shampoo, made hair feel heavy. maybe change brand?

Welcoming staff, felt comfortable as a solo woman traveller, noise as you would expect from staying in a hotel above a historic pub ..but not intrusive. I stayed in the cove room and had a full view of the church and spire light up beautiful, I decided to take my breakfast away which the staff accommodated but I wish I had been able to enjoy a relaxed breakfast in the bar as it looked great

Can’t think of anything

Delicious breakfast. Lovely old pub. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Perfect location in the centre of St Agnes. Would stay again. Car park round the back.

Family room is on the small side for a family with older (and bigger!) kids and the luggage but it worked fine for our one night stay. The view of a wall. The fabric-covered seats in the pub could do with recovering!

St Agnes Hotel is a wonderful hotel where all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed an evening meal, Sunday Roast and a variety of breakfasts, all of which were delicious and perfectly cooked. Situated in the centre of St Agnes, the St Agnes Hotel felt like the heart of the community where not only were all the staff friendly but also all the regular customers who we met.

Nothing.

Friendly and efficient staff. Clean and tidy room with a very comfortable bed. Food was good value and was presented to a high standard. We would definitely use this hotel again if wanting to stay in the area.

A minor niggle - breakfast was stated to be served from 8:00am but when we came down at that time the kitchen wasn't ready and we had to wait a while. However the breakfast was excellent as was the waitress.
