Every staffs, not only receptionists bup also clearning staffs are so kind, and have great hospitality! The room is quiet, almost clean. Breakfast which we can have upon request taste good! Even that, the price for each night is the lowest of all hotel around westend. I have 100% confidence to recommend this hotel!

The carpet of the room may be cleaned bit carefully. There's someone's hair... Is it usual at each hotel in Europe? I'm asian, so I don't know what is the usual for European people. Some asian people have culture that take off their shoes in the room, so from that view, I thought it going better if the carpet is bit cleaner.

Wonderful location right by Kelvinbridge station, so you can pop all around the city very quickly. Also surprisingly quiet despite the proximity to West End pubs and such. Very friendly staff.

Nothing really. The stairs are steep, so so be advised if you have mobility issues, or request something on a lower level.

Had a 2 night stay at the Albion hotel recently and cannot recommend it enough, mainly because Diane the hotel manager was fabulous. Always helpful and friendly (and always there too), she just made us feel at home. The room was fine, we started off in a budget double, but when there was a problem with the hotel next doors plumbing, which meant that we had a bit of a problem with water not draining from the shower, she immediately moved us to another room (and got the problem fixed quickly too). The beds are comfy, the rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, the bathroom is clean and the breakfasts were freshly cooked and very nice. Excellent location for Kelvinbridge subway to get into Glasgow centre and also a short walk to Byres Road, There is road parking outside, free after 6pm and all day Sat / Sun. It's a max 3 hour stay during the week, but Kelvinbridge subway station is literally over the road and has loads of parking available. No lift, so you'll need to be OK with stairs unless you request a ground floor room. Quiet location - we slept very well. We'll definitely stay there again.

Nothing - a lovely stay.

This place is wonderful! Conveniently located just off the Great Western Road it was fantastic to be so close to the River Kelvin, Kelvingrove Park, and lots of restaurants/cafes. Will definitely see if available the next time in Glasgow.

The walls are a little thin if that would be an issue for someone.

Everything. Cosy room, comfy beds, fresh linen and towels, clean and well serviced. We all had a good night's sleep. Quiet, even though quite close to busy roads. The attention and flow of information prior to our stay was above the norm. Finally, Diane was really accommodating and helpful. Full of local knowledge and willing to share it. Very homely.

We are not so young as we were, so the stairs were a bit more "cardio" than we're used to, but that is not the hotel's fault. That was the only downside, but a minor one.

The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. We liked walking along the river into the more interesting sections of town. We did not have breakfast there but found great places nearby for breakfast.

Parking was a problem if you want to have your car near you, as you have to move it off the street during the day and out of the car park at night. We found a place in Maryhill that did not have any parking restrictions, but that took some ingenuity and initiative (from my husband.)

Albion Hotel was exactly what I needed for one night in the west end before flying from Glasgow Airport. Marlene at reception was friendly and accommodating. I had a single bedroom with a nice view of trees, private bathroom, tv, kettle, hair dryer, at a good price. It was a quick, easy walk to Great Western Road and Byres Road/west end.

I struggled a bit with the hot water control in the shower, but I think this was my own butterfingers because there was plenty of hot water in the bathroom sink. I'm sure Marlene would have helped me but I was up extremely early to get to the airport.

The quality of the service provided to guests by Diane at reception was exceptional She was a font of information regarding places to visit, transport options & recommendations for local eateries. She was warm, kind and interested in individual stories & experiences. A cheerful send off in the morning and a warm welcome back in the evening with genuine enquiries about your day. Diane is amazing. She made sure that our stay and experiences were comfortable and happy. - The standard of cleanliness in the room/bathroom and throughout the hotel was excellent. -

Loved the fresh modern decor, cleanliness, comfortable bed, most of all the staff- particularly Marlene- were friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was great, good ingredients that were cooked well. Plenty of cold choices as well. Location was excellent, a short walk from the Stand Comedy Club that we were going to. Great value for money all round.

Not much, just our room was one of an adjoining pair, so unfortunately we could hear the people next door.

Good option for those wanting to be close to the Westend, close to uni and Kelvingrove park, 2 minutes from Kelvinbridge subway and various bus options for easy access to the city centre etc. Room was clean and comfortable, looked newly decorated with fresh linens and the shower had AMAZING water pressure. Bed was comfy although a little hard to access one side just due to room being quite snug, but not an issue for us. Host was very friendly and helpful, we were in town for a wedding and desperately needed an iron which she promptly provided for us! Mirror in bathroom also provided great lighting for makeup. Very happy with our stay.
