Chip shop and Kfc is close to the property ideal to get something to eat! Keypad locked! (Room felt More secure) room was nice! Very presentable (more on the cosy side had a walk in shower (nice red carpet) (Bed was nice) Customer service was good) (I left my bag unattended and was saved for me behind the desk)

Nothing major! The Tv could be a little larger! The room overall was good! (However the toilet was makin a drain sound overnight) toilet may need tweaking flushes correctly though! I still slept through it

Hotel very old but with a soul . The biggest advantage is the location and proximity to the sea.

No staff at all. Entering the code, which is not entirely good, if the phone is discharged or you do not have the Internet, you will not be able to enter, unfortunately. That's what happened to a neighbor one night, he screamed under the windows for a long time to let him into the hotel. I think at least one hotel employee should be there.

Everything especially the staff. They were very helpful and polite.

The tv in the room was not working but the manager did try and fix it. But he couldn't fix it, He offered me an upgrade to another room. Nice!👍

Was sent to the dolphin hotel instead , staff where fantastic, friendly service and helpful. Location brill as only a 5 min walk to town.

Would of liked the bar to been open and maybe the option of a meal at night on arrival, otherwise it was clean tidy will definitely use again

A great hotel superbly clean room within walking distance of beach promenade and town centre shops. Easily walkable from the town centre 15 minutes or less. Been here twice location handy.

Fjaerland hotel is like a little piece of history! Fabulously dated, but perfectly comfortable. Spotlessly clean. Check in with the code was easy, and very flexible as no need to stick to a certain check-in time. Brilliant location for Out There festival. I can't understand the terrible reviews.

Bath drained very slowly, but not an issue as I only needed to shower once. It would be so much better if Fjaerland was staffed again. Such a shame to see the fabulously dated dining room and amazing little bar empty and unused.

We didn't actually stay at the above hotel. We were moved to the dolphin. Very pleased.

Room a little bit small

All was great. Stayed in rm2 with my 7 yr old - we both had a fab stay. Hotel v clean, cleaning staff very helpful and friendly and view from room could see the sea! Am going back today for few days with family and staying here again

1st night did have someone rowing in room next door, but after that as stayed a week all was ace.

Location...good price.... shop 2 seconds away...

Only 1 flat pillow and only 1 towl for 2 people.... i text the managers number on reception....didnt get a reply no cold water only hot
