Spacious room. We had a fan which was kindly given on request. Comfy night stays. TV channels worked including GB News which we were amazed about. Toilet was good. Not too far from sea and easy access to floors despite no lift. Lights were good and switches accessible. Space for laptop and nice coffee. Shower was warm. The receptionist did offer to port the large luggage to the room which was also good.

Sadly no fridge or microwave. Plus not fault of the staff on reception but cleaners forgot to clean the room on one nights stay. It would have been great to have a plug socket near the kettle instead of leaning or stretching down the floor to get to plugs we had to use an extension plug for this. Shame there is no lift to the place. We did get an apology for the only room on the lower floor he could give he said that’s all he could do for us the staff member on reception said. The shower door was bit tight for anyone large that could enter the shower which could be a problem for some visitors.

I liked the room it had everything you needed also the man on the desk was really friendly Their was a few pubs and Wellington pier in walking distance I liked after the first night one of the room had a leak so their upgrade their room and moved them very quickly

I didn't like their were no bar so you had to go for a drink somewhere else or that you couldn't find a car space until the next day so you had to walk a distance to the door as the parking spaces are on the street which mean 4 or 5 hotels sharing the car park

£38 for a single room for 1 night, which was clean, quiet (except for the sea gulls!!!) with large ensuite. Better than I expected for the money. I was greeted with complimentary shower gel miniature and a good selection of tea/coffee stuff in room. Duvet was also perfect weight for season...sounds picky but I'm a naturally warm person and sometimes find hotel room temp a bit too toasty. So again, really happy.

At this price point, I think any criticism is a little harsh. Shower head was a little loose in holder, and bath mixer taps can be fiddly to use, but that's the worst of it, the bathroom was almost bigger than the bedroom. It also had a huge basin and bath. Honestly, I'd come back again.

Staff were exceptional. Very friendly and approachable. Breakfast was excellent. It was more expensive than I expected but this was due to a car and motorbike weekend called Wheels which was completely free and a lot of fun. So all in all it was well worth paying the extra money.

In all honesty there wasn't anything I like. Everything is very close by and there's lots to do on Marine Parade. Beds were comfortable and the room size suited us perfectly as a family of 3.

I went out to have breakfast, as I was meeting a friend in town. My room is very pleasant, nice large window, pleasant en suite with fantastic shower, coffee/tea drink facilities and TV. I’d recommend staying here.

The only drawback is, after dark, is a notorious area for antisocial behaviour, frequently visited by Police, not safe to be out on your own, particularly around the back streets. Safer during the day, no problems as such.

For a one night family stay, the hotel met our expectations, and was good value for money. We booked a family room and had what in effect was a mini appartment with two bedrooms, a hallway, a bathroom and separate toliet. Breakfast was tremendous, hot and with plenty to pick from and was a self service buffet style, even for the full English. My wife asked for scrambled eggs which wasn't provided but the staff were all to willing to provide some for her. There is a large area of free umlimited parking outside the hotel but at busy times you may have to search hard to find a space. Staff are very very courteous and friendly. Excellent location 2 minutes walk from the Sea Life centre on the Golden mile.

The hotel does appear to need a little TLC in places but overall is clean tidy and homely. A couple of trips to reception were needed on arrival for toilet rolls and coffee cups for the genourously filled drinks tray but this was dealt with quickly and apologetically by reception. The TV remote control also tested our patience a little.

The location is down a picturesque Georgian street; very quiet, close access to a bus stop, and walking distance of the sea front and all the various facilities such as cafes, restaurants, amusements and much more!

Access for people in wheelchairs and that the lift has been out of order for some time.

Great location for the best part of the beach, excellent budget room and friendly, helpful owner. Room service on a daily basis and as a disabled person traveling alone I felt safe, secure, and looked after there.

A really nice weeks stay at the Embassy. Dave the manager literally could not do anymore to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Comfy room and fantastic cooked breakfast every morning.

Only suggestion I will make was our shower could have done with a non slip mat as It was a bit slippery.

The receptionist was a lovely man as was very helpful. We were offered breakfast but chose to go elsewhere. The beds were ok, not super comfortable but I slept fine.

The floors were very creaky but it’s an old hotel so to be expected. The televisions are tiny and the remote controls are rubbish. Only used them when we came in to go to bed so it wasn’t a massive issue.
