It was located in a lovely quiet location with parking. Outdoor seating and tables. A very friendly welcome. Proprietor went above and beyond to welcome us, provide a friendly and prompt service at breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble and it was clear the proprietor takes great pride in delivering an exceptional personalised service to customers. We would definitely book again ! Nice comfortable rooms with lovely colour schemes and had everything we needed, attention to detail was appreciated. Really good system to order breakfast items.

Vikki was extremely welcoming and hospitable. The bedroom was perfect for what we needed and in a perfect location for an open day at the university campus. Everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Vikki’s recommendation of the Whealdream restaurant about 10-15 minutes away by car was excellent- we had an excellent meal. Breakfast the next morning was outstanding. All in all, we felt very well looked after a long drive! Thank you!

I honestly can’t think of anything!

We could not fault the Rose Vean B&B. It was like being at an hotel but with a more personal service. The room was very comfortable with everything you could need provided, including tea/coffee facilities. Guests also had their own entrance, separate from the owners, which added to the overall experience. The en-suite bathroom was excellent, with a great shower. Toiletries were also provided. Excellent WiFi was also provided, free of charge.

Rose Vean is a fantastic BnB. The bedroom was spotless and very inviting. Vicki set out several amenities for us, including a small bottle of milk. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast menu was wonderful and Vicki cooked everything to order. We met a nice couple at the other table. They were in a room next to ours but we never heard them. The outdoor seating area was surrounded by beautiful plantings. Following Google Maps, the home was easy to find. Out in the country, peaceful and quiet. Plenty of parking space. Vicki is a lovely host and makes a connection with each guest. We wished we could have stated longer than just one night

My wife and myself were presently surprised with all counts of this stay, hosts are to be congratulated in the way they approach the running of this B & B. We have nothing but praise for the whole stay, breakfast out of this world, cleanliness exceptional, rooms large enough for two adults. I cannot praise this couple enough.

Vikky was the perfect host ,breakfast was fantastic , Vicki was very knowledgeable about were we should go ,really enjoyed are stay from start to Finnish ( we hoped that Vicki could change the weather but unfortunately not oh well ty very much

The host Vicki top notch she even let us borrow blankets for the show to sit on as we had none nothing was any trouble

Rose Vean is a top notch B&B located just far enough into the peaceful country side to be able to relax and recoup after a busy day of sightseeing, yet close enough to reach the popular Cornwall sites in a short amount of time. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms spotless, and the breakfast outstanding. Vicki, the owner of this fabulous B&B, helped us when we were in a jam. While touring the area we ran over a screw which caused the tire on our rented car to become flat as a pancake. FYI - there are no spares or tire repair kits in rental cars in England. You are supposed to wait for help in getting flat tires fixed. We waited 6 hours for a tow truck, which arrived as the sun was going down, to pick us and the car up and deliver us to the Rose Vean. Apparently it was too late to bring the car to a service center. The next morning, trying to work through the rental car telephone system to get help with the flat tire was proving to be near impossible. Vicki took charge and arranged for us to drive to a nearby Falmouth Service Station to get the tire fixed. First we had to fill the tire with air. Her husband had a pump and within minutes the tire was inflated and we were on our way to the Service Station. A couple hours later we were on the road again and taking in the sites that we had missed the day before. Vicki's willingness to step in helped reduce our stress and resolved the problem quickly. That's A+ service, added onto the already excellent accommodations. Can't get much better than that!

We had a lovely overnight stay at Rose and Vean B&B. The room was nicely decorated, very clean and the hosts even left fresh flowers in our room! The room included a variety of hot drinks and biscuits. The beds were very comfortable and blinds blocked light out well. Breakfast was delicious and included both continental and full English. Our host was very welcoming and understanding of our unexpectedly late arrival. The surrounding area is beautiful Cornish countryside however the roads were a little narrow.

Rose Vean B&B has to be one of the best we’ve stayed in. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds, nice bedding and fluffy white towels. The breakfast was fit for a king, local produce used and served hot. Vicki was a super host and have no hesitation in recommending Rose Vean. It is convenient to many places of interest in Cornwall, has easy parking within the grounds and a separate door to the accommodation.

It was only a fleeting visit- 1 night, so we didn't spend a lot of time in the room or indeed in the rest of the guest house. However the facilities we did enjoy were very very good. The room was spacious enough for 2 people, and was also immaculately clean. The breakfast, certainly if you prefer a ' full English' was simply magnificent. Too much. I definitely didn't need to eat anything else all day!

In all honesty, nothing. A small fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, all helped to make the spray a memorable one.
