The room was comfortable and well designed in the British tradition. Everything was there, even the kettle for tea and coffee. It was really pleasant in the mornings to go down for breakfast and the ladies made you your meal on order. Not too many guests there were, thus it was quiet and I could watch the news while having my coffee. I know the area well and the place is very well located for places I needed to visit.

I liked everything. The only inconvenience is when you stay in a pub with rooms that it is closed from around 11:30 pm. But I knew it and planned to come back before that time.

Clean, comfy and a wonderful staff. Despite being a bit of a ride from downtown London, there is such a great transit system around to get you easily to all sorts of places, including into downtown if you want. For the price and the ease of movement, it is SO much more worth staying out here vs shelling out hundreds more to stay in the center of London. Especially loved going to Richmond and down to Hampton court. It was an easy little walk and then train ride (so cheap) to Waterloo, which stuck me in the heart of everything. The staff here was amazing. You are staying above a pub but closing time = total silence downstairs. Slept like a rock. Would definitely stay again.

What a great place! This modest pub excels at what it does - looks after people. The rooms maybe a bit snall, but trust me they are clean, warm and fresh. To cap it off is the staff. Feom checkin to breakfast to a nice pub meal later, the staff were brilliant. They teally go out if their way to support the brand and make u at home and leave happy. The foh staff really are worth their weight we found as bothing was too much for them at all. I will recommend abd will return anyday.

karaoke but it was bearable and not on late. Really hard place to fault tbh

We loved the staff, they made the stay; especially the cleaning staff and the ladies who prepared breakfast for us. Breakfast was a good mix between a full English breakfast and an American continental breakfast. Plenty of choices and options for all. The evening staff, for check in and food service were great as well. The pub food was wonderful, especially the steak and ale pie which comes with peas (I typically hate peas, but I LOVED the peas served with the meal). The pizza was also delicious. The room we stayed in had two twin beds, it's great for a sleeping space but not much else, which was what we were looking for since our main objective was to sightsee in central London and surrounding countryside. Please know that you will have to either walk or take a bus to the closest tube station or have a car with you to park and ride if you don't want to drive in central London. That was the only downside to staying at The Milford Arms.

The furniture in the room was compressed particle board, and therefore shows scuffs and wear. (EX: the front of my bedside table drawer pulled completely off when I tried to use it.) Other than that, there was NOTHING that was unacceptable about our stay at The Milford Arms.

I had to stay someplace for an overnight layover close to Heathrow and the Milford Arms was a great spot! Easy to get to and check in was super quick/easy. Room (#3) was exactly like it showed in the photos and bed was pretty comfortable. Clean bathroom with a large shower. I also loved that it was above a pub (easy for dinner/drinks) and even with that, you couldn't hear bar noise.

The only cons to my stay was that the bathroom had an awful smell coming from it, I couldn't keep the door open. It may have been the drainage? Because the bathroom was really clean, but it just smelled bad. The sink faucet was also very wobbly. Only other complaint was that there was no large mirror by a plug/outlet. Road noise was pretty loud but it lessens as the night goes. Also was a bit confusing to find where to exit outside of open hours.

This the second time we have stayed at Milford Arms. The first was at the beginning of our two month trip and so we returned when we ended our trip. We love the staff there and the environment is fun and friendly. We really do enjoy the Milford Arms and would plan to stay there if ever in London again.

Be prepared to walk up a couple different flights of stairs since there are no ground level rooms (you're staying over a bar) and there is not an elevator. The staff do assist in carrying up the luggage as they are able but it isn't really part of their job requirements. So, pack lightly!

The hotel was very close to an event we had booked to see. The room was clean and tidy and very comfortable. Breakfast was great! Kew gardens and London itself are easy to access. Many thanks to the hotel staff for looking after us.

Being on a main road, under the landing approach to Heathrow, it was never going to be like a country hotel! However, after a short while, we got accustomed to the noises. We certainly slept very well both nights we stayed. The only other minor problem concerned evening meals. The hotel does have food on site. However, as my wife is a non-meat eater finding a suitable alternative was awkward. Hounslow seems to have a very large concentration of afro-Caribbean and other ethnic restaurants. Again, with a little planning, this can be worked around.

Room was what you'd expect for a pub hotel. Clean, tidy and a little worn to be fair but not scruffy at all. Shower was absolutely fantastic, proper drenching. A large room fan was provided because it was stiflingly hot. With the windows open there is a lot of road and plane noise (overhead, not down the road!!!), but even though we come from a very quiet place, it was not annoying and faded into the background. Breakfast was buffet aka all you can eat and very nice. The lady doing the brekkies was lovely and a great lass to chat with. Perfect location for our visit itinerary including Kew Gardens and Richmond/Thames. Very regular buses to take you to tube if desired and a cute little park right across the road with lovely wild flowers if you want a small bimble after brekkie. Parking very easy and free.

Would've liked to see the aeroplanes a bit better but forgot my binoculars....it's inside the north east approach to the runways at Heathrow.
