Position by canal and amenities excellent. Car parking a bonus. Ground floor layout and ambience good. Staff very friendly and polite. Bed very comfortable. Lift excellent and prompt.

The noise from the heating and ventilation system was overpowering and made sleep difficult, ruined the whole stay for me personally. I was concerned about the amount of food waste after each breakfast session as there was so much left over, particularly pre cooked food. We would have liked more provisions in the room, very meagre supplies for two people when we needed a hot drink early evening, at bedtime and first thing on awakening, simply not enough.

Kane checked me in, swift polite and friendly. After mentioning I may be swayed to holiday inns being my first stay at one and being a Hilton and raddison regular, he gave me a complimentary room upgrade. The executive room was lovely and spacious just how i like it.

There was only one member of staff checking people in. I had to wait longer than I'd expected for 1 booking infront of me. Not ever a issue at raddison or Hilton.

We booked at short notice, as we had to extend our stay in London after my wife was briefly hospitalised for an allergic reaction. The staff were brilliant, especially the guys behind the bar who were able to rustle up - twice - an omelette despite it not being on the menu, as it was all my wife wanted during her recovery

My only tiny issue is that the menu was not very clear on what was vegetarian and/or gluten-free, and there were very few gf options

To the members of staff on both restaurant and check in Saturday, March 4th in the evening. Thank you. You outdid yourself with all the information I needed. They could see I hadn't had the best week and went above and beyond with their kindness. They brought dinner to me (which I'm aware was a standard service) but it was service with a smile! To whoever manages this hotel, give them a raise! I've never known a hotel with as lovely staff as Holiday Inn! I always have a positive experience in Holiday Inns but they've outdone themselves this time. My room was situated with a balcony to allow for perfect views of the River Brent, plane spotting with a cup of tea was my idea of the perfect start to my morning. If you need anything, just call down to them and they are more than happy to assist! I even forgot my plug for my phone charger and they provided me with a plug as they don't have USB plugs in the room. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you for a wonderful stay! I will definitely be back and will be singing praises to anyone who needs somewhere to stay in London!

The hotel is in a surprisingly interesting location right on the canal. The room was a really nice size, very comfortable and we had a great view. Interesting walks along the canal area and the River Brent. Syon Park less than 10 minutes away. Breakfast was OK. The cooked food buffet was very standard and the cold buffet was a little unexciting. We ordered porridge most days and that was nicely made and well served. On some days I did think the breakfast room was under staffed but as it was a buffet it didn't matter too much. The Housekeeping staff seemed very friendly but lacked much English! Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

The Hotel offers a green service regarding not changing towels but they do not train their staff in it. Despite following the printed instruction our towels were changed 5 days out of 7 when they should not have been. Only issue for us is that Brentford is not ideal to start z trip into central London

The staff were friendly and welcoming. Undercover parking was a bonus. Short walk to the station and bus stops. The walk by the Great Union Canal was a bonus. We witnessed an altercation outside our bedroom window and alerted staff who were quick and resourceful in dealing with it. We made sure that the Duty Manager was advised of the staff member who dealt with the issue so well. Sitting in the sun by the canal really made you feel you were on holiday.

Service for the evening meal was very slow but the staff were friendly.

The check-in was easy and made easier because we could not scan the QR code in order to pay the car park fee. The receptionist was able to do this for us. The room was comfy, warm and very clean. The bed was very comfortable with a choice of pillows; hard or soft. The tea/coffee facilities were unexpected and welcoming. The bathroom was spotless.

Maybe a biscuit with the cuppa?!!

room was really clean. didn’t spend time at the hotel, other than to sleep- so can’t rate the food etc; but bar area seemed nice. Staff were welcoming, professional and nothing was too much trouble

Managed to get car in hotel car park- by chance someone was leaving. if that hadn’t occurred, would have been stuck as not pre- bootable and I was informed that nearest public car park about 10 min walk on foot. As someone with mobility issues currently, less than ideal..

Loved the location near the river for walking, all the staff were friendly, helpful & professional, the atmosphere was lovely with a birthday party happening, people from up North staying for the football, even though the staff were busy non stop they still took the time to be friendly

Only 1 lift working ( obviously out of the staffs control ) but would have helped with flow of people coming & going, it didn't affect the younger ones in our group but because of my knee problem I have to use a lift

Upon arrival we requested a large bed and were given two double beds in both rooms : ) Comfortable fairly spacious rooms. Welcoming staff. Dinner was great & Room service order although near closing time was accepted and brought up by same person with a smile !! Late check out was readily granted upon request ! Thank you !

Not enough drinking water in the rooms ! Breakfast service could have been better !
