Lovely warm friendly reception at the door by owner Margaret, great start to my stay. Their home is very nice with a cosy sitting area for residents downstairs if you want a bit of time outside of your room to read or have a chat with others staying along with you, not forgetting to mention the separate nicely laid out breakfast room also being there. My room upstairs was better than any expectations I had, nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. En-suite was a good size too, plenty of space and there was an unexpected bonus in the room, a mini fridge with real milk for your tea/coffee instead of those long-life things you usually get. I had the Dunhallin breakfast which was excellent and plenty on the plate to give you a great start to the day, vegan and other alternatives on offer to suit pretty much everyone. Location is fairly central in Inverness with a relatively easy walk into the town centre, around 25 minutes. All in all a great overnight stay, definitely somewhere I will be happy to stay again in the future and to highly recommend.
Absolutely nothing to complain about or would like changed.

This guest house is a true home from home. Made to feel really relaxed and welcome. First class facilities on offer; from the large, modern bathroom adjoining the spacious bedroom. Vast array of breakfasts on offer to suit all tastes; cooked to order breakfasts was an especially nice touch. Situated a short walk from sports bars, cafes, restaurants and shops or about a mile from Inverness city centre. This is an ideal location for business or leisure stays and spotlessly clean throughout. The off street parking was an added bonus. Highly recommend
No faults at all; hosts couldn't do more for you.

We had a lovely 4-night stay at Dunhallin and were very pleased with the large room, comfortable bed and bedding and the amount of storage space. The breakfasts were beautifully cooked and more than enough. We appreciated having a fridge in our room, and use of the comfortable lounge area. There was plenty of parking space on the large drive and we had access to our room at all times. Margaret was very kind, friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.”

This might’ve been booking.com’s fault. I thought I was speaking to adults or a room that was adequate for two adults. The room was fine except it was more adequate for a single adults as it was very small. I came to find out later that I could’ve booked a large room as I had booked this room over six months ago. I don’t feel booking.com was straight with me in terms of what I was buying. This was not the innkeeper’s fault so much as I think it was booking.com‘s fault. I would suggest anyone working at this particular B&B Take care to contact the actual innkeeper to make sure you were getting a room that will fit your needs. Otherwise season keepers from wonderful breakfast we’re very good, and no complaints.

This is a fantastic guest house ran by a really nice couple who couldn't do enough for you. Spotlessly clean, modern bathroom and large comfortable bedroom with ample room for storage. Walking distance from numerous pubs, restaurants and leisure facilities and a short drive from the city centre make this the perfect venue for business and leisure travellers. Perfect home cooked breakfast was a particularly nice touch
No faults with anything at this property

The host, Margaret, was so warm and welcoming and the breakfast was the best we had on our trip, if not best breakfast ever! We absolutely loved the experience and would recommend to anyone who was staying in Inverness!
The location was a bit of a walk to the city centre and we attempted to call the taxi lines provided many many times but always got a busy signal! That has more to do with the taxi services than the stay, though, and the walk ended up being just what we needed!

We loved everything about Dunhallin house. It was immaculate, clean, warm, inviting and welcoming. We were met by Sandy on arrival and in the morning we met Margaret who brightens the place with her wee homely smile. Our room was comfortable with an amazing bed and we slept well. I can honestly say it was the best two nights sleep I have had for a long time. Breakfast was superb, we gave prior notice as to what time we would be down for breakfast and Margaret was there to greet us and serve us the first course. Within moments of finishing our porridge/fruit salad she appeared and cleared the table and served our full breakfast. I would highly recommend Dunhallin house to anyone and already have done. It was roughly 9mins by car into centre of Inverness but can also be walked and there is a bus service too. We travelled with a family member who stayed in the centre and his lodgings looked like a dark and dingy bedsit and only offered a very basic continental breakfast so we know what else is on offer and we feel we struck gold. We will definitely return.
There is nothing we didn't like but if I had to name one thing it would be that the shower wasn't as powerful as I would like.... but thats just a personal preference and certainly not reason enough to keep me away.

As a frequent business traveller who uses b & bs all the time, this features as one of the best I have ever stayed at. The property is beautifully presented, clean and comfortable throughout. The proprietors are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding, beautifully cooked and presented. It's the little things sometimes that make the difference - in this case a mini fridge in my room stocked with fresh milk for my cups of tea! Plenty of on-site free parking and a short drive into Inverness city centre. Book with confidence.
Nothing, it was perfect.

Sandy and Margaret are lovely! Our room felt almost like a studio apartment it was so big. The hot breakfast as well as the take away breakfast in a bag were both perfect for us and the gluten free accommodation was excellent.
Our only two complaints was that the shower was very small (we banged our elbows a couple of times) and the walls were very thin (we could hear an entire phone conversation and it would have kept us up).
