Really lovely breakfast with plenty of gluten free options. The room was clean and a good size. The staff were really friendly and helpful at all times. It was also an easy walk from the train station, took me about 15 mins (there was a steep hill though!).

Nothing major: the room was a little on the warm side and the wifi wasn't quite good enough for taking a video call, but these were not a big deal.

The hotel does a great breakfast, and even opened a bit early on our departure day as we needed to catch a bus. Very accommodating! The room has a mid-century modern feel, sort of like a summer camp. I liked the huge swing-in window which gave some ventilation.

Like many hotels this far North, there is no air conditioning so comfort was marginal on this visit. I'm sure it's fine when days are not so hot. Also, the tub shower has a high rim and is narrow, with nothing to grab if unbalanced, so anyone with balance issues will find it challenging.

Second time of staying in last 2 weeks & just as good as first ! Staff really friendly & attentive to all our & other guests needs. Swimming pool great & really warm. Food in restaurant was really nice together with great breakfast.

Room second time around wasn't as good as first, loose floor board which creaked badly by dressing table which made me feel sorry for potential guests below, heated towel rail sometimes banged & clattered when warming up & black stain mark on bed sheet edge which we weren't too bothered about but some guests may find the need to complain ! These are just observations I would like give hotel to hopefully improve or rectify for future guests.

Ample car parking, automatic doors that I always like when hands are full. Location was perfect, it is far enough from city centre but close enough to walk. We walked to restaurant and come back, it was very convenient. It was 1 night stay for our NC500, we didn't do any breakfast or dinner but it was almost full when we came to hotel. Bed was amazing, super-comfy and for 3 persons, really wide! I guess that this is very useful if you are sleeping with your dog! I know that there is a swimming pool but I forgot to put my swimsuits!

Nothing to complain, I am 1.90m tall, it could be depending on the room but the ceiling was too low for me in the bath as a shower.

This was lovely property Has swimming pool that was not open when we stayed . Lovely room Great breakfast

Only thing we didn’t like was that we were told on day travelling to it that the restaurant and the pool were closed when we were staying should have been told when booking

My second visit in a month and the staff are consistently very helpful, friendly and so accommodating for us with our two labradors by serving dinner and breakfast in the bar. An excellent set up if you have your dogs staying with you. We stayed in the annex room this time and that was good in managing taking the dogs out late night/early morning to the little garden area. Dinner was lovely again - good quality and well prepared. A good breakfast and our coffee, toast etc was brought to us quickly and still hot. All good and some nice banter with the lovely staff. Thank you again :)

Quality of the mattress could be improved.

The staff were excellent, very attentive to our needs and always polite. Food was excellent throughout our stay. Breakfast was well organised.

There was nothing we did not like. We did have a problem with not being able to secure our window closed during our 3 night stay. This was attended to on the first night but not repaired. The hotel is uphill from Inverness so a taxi maybe necessary it easy after a day/night in the town.

The spacious room was fantastic. Really great having the little blocks which housed 4 rooms altogether which meant we had less disturbances. Loved the fact that we were able to have our breakfast early on the Sunday at 6.45am, this was super and very accommodating. The staff were all very friendly and very obliging. Great having the 11am check out as I didn't feel rushed.

I would say that the room was a little bit chilly even with the radiator up high. Perhaps an idea to put a further radiator in the room or even curtains just to keep the heat in. Mind you there was snow outside so perhaps just a little bit colder than usual.

We didn't use the pool as I forgot to pack our swimming things but it's great for if you have kids. The staff were friendly which is always great. The breakfast was delicious and lots to choose from. Plenty of parking. Great location for the town, nearby supermarkets and some great walks too!

It would benefit the room to have a little fridge I think. Room was really cold when we arrived. Couldn't figure out how to switch the heating on so had to call reception. They sorted it for us very quickly! We were in the Annex on the ground floor and had people above us which unfortunately due to creaky floor boards you could hear their every move which was a little annoying.

We hadn't booked for breakfast so cannot comment, the price we paid maybe should have included breakfast to make it more value for money.Evening meal was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and nice and clean. Swimming pool was lovely.

Unfortunately the sauna was out of order, the changing room was extremely cold and so were the showers. I had my 4 year old granddaughter with me and she was shivering. A hot bath sorted it out after we were back up in our room. Something to look at though.
