My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights, midway through a road trip of Scotland, to celebrate our honeymoon. We were particularly looking forward to our stay in Inverness and the hotel did not disappoint. They had upgraded us to the Executive Suite, it was fantastic. The guests we spoke to raved about their rooms too. Absolutely stunning house and gardens, cosy, warm, comfortable, clean, great food and lovely, professional, friendly staff. All the staff were impeccably turned out and had beautiful manners, very polite and nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel very welcome and we met some lovely guests too. The sitting rooms with open fires really do invite you in to sit with a wine or coffee, relax and chat to other guests in a relaxed home from home atmosphere. It really did feel like we were staying in a country home rather than a hotel. We ate in the restaurant the first evening and the food was unreal, absolutely delicious. Compliments to the chef and Co. Breakfast was fantastic too. Lots of choice from continental to home cooked. Must give a special shout out to Gabrielle!! He was wonderful, saw to every detail, very professional and attentive to our needs and made our stay feel extra special. The complimentary champers in our room was a very kind gesture. He knows his stuff!! Big thank you to everyone, they were all amazing and we will be back.
Just a niggle really, but watch the underfloor heating in the bathroom, it can get a bit hot, but nothing that standing on a towel can't fix. Also needs something to hang your clothes/ dressing gowns on in the bathroom.

From the moment we arrived, we were made so welcome by the friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was sublime, the view was stunning and well stocked with complimentary goodies. We dined at the hotel, and can honestly say, it was the most delicious meal we have had in a long time. The Chef was incredible. You must eat there when you stay, you wont be disappointed. Everything about our stay was perfect.
I didn't like leaving the hotel. I didn't like only being there for two nights and I don't like that I don't live closer. I didn't like that I couldn't take the chef home with us to cook all our meals

We stayed at Loch Ness Country House for our wedding weekend and added on an additional nights stay! Everything was fantastic! The staff team in particular Arron, Gabrielle, Chris and Chloe - nothing was too much bother! The food is incredible! The grounds gorgeous! We felt like we were totally at home and best of all - they are so so dog friendly.
My grandmother is in a wheelchair and although she could move around the hotel and the staff were fantastic with her - the disabled access bathrooms weren’t really wheelchair friendly as she wasn’t able to get in the shower.

Excellent location - restaurant is perfectly situated for watching the sunrise while having breakfast. The house itself is stunning and has been well maintained. The staff were amazing and very attentive.
Very very niche problems: The door locks weren’t particularly secure and therefore may have been off-putting for solo travellers. The heated floor in the bathroom was initially lovely, but there was no clear way to turn it off - made me feel rather unwell due to it being so hot! Also no shower curtain so water dripped on the floor.

Loved the beautiful property. Very heritage looking. The sitting rooms and the lounges by the fireplace were just so cosy. Evenings are lovely to chill with your wine by the fireplace. The hotel Staff and managers were exceptionally courteous.
All good. The only drawback being in the cottage( this was outside of the main building)we stayed in where the washroom was on the ground floor with the main bedroom on the first floor. Bit inconvenient if one has to visit at night. Else everything was great.

A grand house on the outskirts of Inverness. Set in pretty gardens with plenty of parking. An exceptionally friendly welcome with the offer to take our bags to the room. The rooms are very big with a comfortable bed and very good shower. The communal lounge with the open fire was charming. The breakfast was good as were the waiting staff.
The property was in need of a revamp. With the exception of the bathroom and the communal lounge which were lovely the whole place was dated and a bit tired.

We visited the Loch Ness County House Hotel for a family wedding. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The service at the wedding meal was the best I have ever seen. Each person at a table was served at the same time. Nothing was too much trouble to the serving staff like getting extra bread, custard instead of ice cream, etc. Breakfast is buffet style but tasty. The fruit was colourful and delicious. Unfortunately for me, we were upstairs and there is no lift. The four poster beds are very high. But the rooms are beautiful, clean and have fabulous views to make up for it.
The rooms were extremely warm. I'm sure that is a good thing for most people but it is the only thing that wasn't perfect for our stay.

The breakfast was excellent, and the hotel staff were not only friendly but also very helpful. Our room was a double-family suite, though we didn't end up using the second room at all. The location is perfect for exploring Inverness and is also conveniently close to Loch Ness.
The heating system in the room was weird we could manage to make it either hot or switch it off, so we ended with the latter, which could be an issue in winter.

The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are lovely and all the staff are excellent. The Manager deserves special recognition; he was helpful, informative and really good to talk to. Secure parking for motorcycles.
There was no way this was walking distance to the centre of Inverness; it states 3KM on the website, but it is more than that and there are areas with no pavements. There are plenty of taxi firms, so it is not an issue.

The main hotel and the surrounding grounds are really beautiful. The cottage (where we stayed) is perhaps not as luxurious as the hotel, but offers a large space with a living room which worked out well for our group. The staff is very friendly. Very nice breakfast
The windows in the cottage were drafty and one of the showers was a bit persnickety. The hotel is a bit out of Inverness, requiring a drive to access shops and restaurants.
