I'll review using the BAD review complaints. Yes it's on Heathrows flight path, so has plane noise. We did ask the staff to shush the planes, which they did, but the pilots and flight control refused to alter flight paths for our stay, very inconsiderate! Yes the extractor fan wasn't working in the bathroom, so steam from the shower was in evidence, but it didn't effect the room as we used a great new invention called a door. with this closed the steam from the bathroom stayed in the bathroom!!! Yes there was a brown mark on the wall next to the bath!! this appeared to be from a new bath being installed and not quite matching the shape of the old bath. We did ask the staff if the old bath could be reinstalled, but unfortunately it had been disposed of!!! The rooms are old dated and tired!! we'll it is an old building with a certain style, that is appropriate and certainly not tired. Sarcasm aside we had a fantastic stay, the room was spotless, the staff are super friendly, the breakfasts were tasty, the bed comfortable. And kew gardens is 5 minutes walk.

The hotel is an attractive building on a quiet road in a leafy suburb. The room was a decent size for a budget London hotel and comfortable. The room was quiet and the bathroom was decent. Staff were welcoming and breakfast was very good indeed with quality products used. The hotel is a stone's throw away from Kew Gardens

When I booked, the information given said they issued a permit for car parking on the road. After contacting the hotel I was informed, since the pandemic, this was no longer the case, and they duly amended the information to reflect the curent situation. It was bit annoying but for an extra charge it was possible to use an app to book a car parking space in the driveway of a local house in Ennerdale Road around the corner. It did not spoil my stay at a nice hotel.

Location is great. I saw people here complaining about airplane noises but we slept fine. We only wanted the room to get some rest at night and it was perfect. We picked the smallest room, shower is tiny but average person can fit in there the rest of the rooms have tub. Friendly staff. Good pick for the price.

The room was hot all the time, we had a small fan so we sleep with it on all night. We went at the end of September so outside was cold, it would be good that we could open the window all the way to refresh the room a little. Also the toilet had a weird smell when we came back at night, we had some odor drops that helped. Although we didn’t leave early enough to get out room clean the last 2 days, bathroom looked clean so it shouldn’t be a reason of the funny smell

We had 7 nights at the hotel Me and my wife We booked the budget room in the third floor (last floor) We knew before checking in there is now lift in the building and we don't mind stairs But keep in mind that the stairs were okay for the first and second floor, but the third floor has round and narrow stairs, so it will be not so easy if you have heavy luggage, but we hqve no problem with that😊 The breakfast was great We have full english breakfast all days and it was more than enough to start and give you needed power during your day until 5 or 6 pm All the staff were decent and nice in every thing we needed, they don't mind taking photo for us in multiplr days The location is great, the overground is less than 5 m walk, neighberhood is very good, safe, clean, and have wonderful buuldings and trees. Wifi was fast, but you have to register once and log in every time when you come back to the hotel

Almost nothing The budget room has too small bathroom, I am a medium weight and I move so tight in the bathroom, everything is so tight and small in this budget room, but we managed Bear in mind, no microwave, no fridge Room clean refill water every day 😊 But bath shamboo and lotion, you have to tell them to refill it every time

Room was large and a bit quirky. Beds comfortable although the mattresses were bigger than the frames so the very end wasn't supported. Nice that dinner was available downstairs rather than having to find a restaurant - we expected high prices and posh food but it was normal (nice) pub grub. Great that we could leave our bags in the morning and pick them up later.

Bathroom was large and had everything necessary but needed redecorating. It looked like there might have been a leak as the paintwork was stained on the outside wall. I loved the cooked breakfast but my companion wanted cereals, fruit and toast - none of which were possible.

Loved the breakfasts. The full English was great but I also enjoyed very much the Vegan pancakes with maple syrup, yoghurt and blueberries. The room was spacious with a view of the street, The location is great so close to Kew Gardens tube station, Kew Gardens themselves and the National Archives. Being so handy to the tube it was easy to get into central London. I had fish and chips (very good) at the hotel but there are lots of good restaurants close at hand, A special word about the staff who were very friendly and easy to talk to.

My only difficulty was the stairs. Carrying a full suitcase was not easy.

Location in quiet, leafy neighborhood just steps from small shops and tube. Beautiful! Near Kew Gardens and cricket match on Kew Green. Path along Thames River. So much to love. Also cannot forget Henry, breakfast server who laid a reserved table for 6 when friends came for Sunday Roast! And the chef! The food was fabulous! And the pub is a charming old fashioned kind of English pub. Very lively with locals afternoon -evenings. Obviously well loved. Also few blocks to National Archive with free exhibits.

My American expectations. Day One thought it wasn’t perfect enough, but remembered everything in Europe is old. LOL! Then I fell in love with place.

The location, with a few minutes walk to the Underground / Overground Kew Gardens station and less than 10 minutes to Kew Gardens, is excellent. The Exec double room was large and on a corner with two windows, to the front and the side. There was a desk, two chairs and tea / coffee making facilities. The large bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The en-suite was spacious and had a much appreciated full size bath.

The windows were single pane sash windows which were not good at cutting out aircraft and traffic sounds. The flights stop during the night. On the third day there were no fly overs due to changed landing conditions. Breakfast was reasonable. The Sunday lunch roast was poor (but it was late afternoon on a bank holiday). The bottom line is would we stay again? Yes we would because of the excellent location, good size clean room and the reasonable value.

Beautiful building in a gorgeous, quiet part of London. Staff were helpful and friendly from the outset, including when we were delayed in our arrival and had to contact them for guidance, and when we needed help with the window. The bar area is spacious and welcoming. Our room (5) was of a good size, with a king-size bed and adequate furnishing. The en-suite bathroom had a high quality shower, lovely toiletries and decent-sized bath towels. Breakfast was cooked to order, with a range of choice; the three options I had over our stay were all delicious!

For me the mattress in room 5 was far too hard, but I realise this is a very personal thing. Also, we had to fight the window to open it during a particularly warm spell of weather.

The staff were lovely.Khrystyna was especially helpful and really kind. I forgot a mirror at the hotel and when I called to let them know she posted it back to me immediately. Cannot thank her enough 🙏🙏🙏 She went above and beyond her role for me. The location was excellent too. We were going to Kew Garden for a party and the hotel room as a 5 min walk from Victoria Gate. The room was well equipped with tea, coffee milk, iron and board and a hair dry. It was a decent size too. The hotel was quite at night time too.

The only think that wasn’t ideal was there was no air on in the room. Normally that really wouldn’t matter but when we stayed there it happened to be the hottest day of the year and we were melting 😂😂Not the hotels fault though, just one of those things I guess.
