I am a little restricted for food as I am Gluten free with my diet. So bring my own. Traffic noise at night was tolerable most of the time as we had to have windows open / too hot otherwise.And bedside lights didn't work. Otherwise all was great.

Couldn't fault the cleanliness, staff and friendly other residents.

The hotel was very clean, the rooms and the communal areas were all spotless, we were greeted on arrival and were given all the necessary info about our stay, we were also upgraded at no extra charge to an en suite room. There is everything you need, fridges, microwave, kettle, fresh hot water on tap, a hob for cooking your own food, a fridge for guest food too. Coffee, tea, sugar, milk for hot drinks. The breakfast was continental help yourself but was pretty much available at all times to grab if you needed. Bananas, Apples, brioche pastries, chocolate chip or fruit, yoghurts, fruit juice, milk, bread, margarine, jams, cereals. There was always someone available, dishes were cleaned constantly throughout the day, food replenished, everything kept topped up. Lovely hot water in the showers. It was fresh and modern throughout and just felt really clean all the time. You were left to enjoy your break, didn't feel pestered or checked on etc, but always someone there is you needed anything which we didn't as everything was great. There is ample parking both front and back, a smoking area with tables and chairs, and it was secured with locks all around for which we were given keys. All in all we were very happy with what we got for what we paid, good value for money and would return. Although it's situated on a roundabout it wasn't noisy as the traffic wasn't bad. We enjoyed our stay and thank you to all at Pickering park for making out stay welcoming l, convenient, clean and conformable, would recommend, thanks again, was grateful for the coffees too, haha, thanks again...

I can't really fault anything from what we saw and our own personal experience....

The location was perfect for what we needed at the time of our stay - close to buses and the city centre. Plenty of bathrooms and wash rooms The kitchen area was great plenty of seating space and options for breakfast were good too. The bedroom we had was very spacious for 3 adults and the beds were very comfortable.

Clean. Room, good kitchen facilities if you wish too Cook or have food in . Open 24/ 7 Nice selection of continental breakfast. Bed room front up stairs bath room very small. We did manage. However if your a big man tall don't think you would . Beds , double very comfortable the single not so good., mattress a bit lumpy. . Not good if you have back problems. I will book again. Paul and staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing to much trouble. Great for buses. And local facilities. Over all a very enjoyable experience. 😉

No hair dryer in room . So you need to take one with you.

Really liked the use of the kitchen and being able to make tea as and when I wanted. Plenty of cooking facilities if you wanted to cook your own meals. Continental Breakfast that was laid out was more than adequate with good choice of cereals, bread, jams/ marmalade, yogurts and fruit.

Would have liked someone at reception when booking in. Could have done with some heating coming on and off in the evening and morning.

It was ideal for an overnight so I was local for a meeting. The kitchen was well equipped and there were a lot of extra's available, fruit, cereal, bread, tea coffee, milk etc. The cupboards were all labelled which made getting items really simple. I actually liked that they don't offer tiny soap and shampoo packs as it makes sense and I knew ahead so had all my own things. The place was clean and kept tidy with everything needed for an overnight stay. I was met as I arrived and shown round. This was friendly and welcoming so I'd say I was happy with the stay overall.

The room had a shower but the WC was next door. I was told no one else used it as other rooms had en suite facilities. It was okay but a bit of a pain.

We needed a one night stay (getting ferry) and this hotel was Ideal. Cheaper than chips, lovely clean big room with two single beds. No ensuite in our room but the showers and toilets were very clean. Help yourself breakfast. Plenty of parking space.

Great location, Paul was very helpful and let us keep our bikes locked away and secure, great room with ensuite, comfy bed, communal area facilities were great

Other guests had left a mess in the communal area but no fault of the place we stayed, you'd think people would tidy up after themselves a bit! But no complaints great overnight stay

The owner was a very nice guy. It was a real pleasure staying there. It’s a bit of a hostel vibe with large common areas including a great kitchen and outdoor patio. Great parking in the back of the property.

Excellent stay well impressed free reign in the kitchen to have tea coffee when you want yoghurt, fruit, cereals and bread to make toast for breakfast . Just help yourself. Bed comfortable geat nights sleep.
