Good solid value, close to the city centre.

Well, for the price it would be churlish to have any complaints. Thankfully I didn't. It was a comfortable room, very quiet, with no noisy neighbours and as it was a bed for the night after going to a concert, then it suited me fine. Just a short walk into town. Didn't book breakfast but it looked popular as I left the following morning. Staff friendly and helpful. What more do you need. So if you want somewhere just on the outside of the city centre then go for it.

I cannot find anything to mention to be honest. I just wanted a cheap bed for the night and got what I wanted. I had a good stay and so no complaints.

Arriving at the Ibis we were met by a young male who was welcoming guests. This man, Karan, was so very warm and welcoming. He was so helpful and really couldn’t have done anymore for our large party. We needed 1 accessible room as one of our group is disabled and we asked for the 7 rooms to be as close as possible to each other. He took time to facilitate the request and not only were we placed on the same floor, but each of our rooms were next to each other. I had preconceived ideas of this hotel due to the very low price. I am delighted to say I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms, which were extremely clean. Every member of staff that we met with were friendly and pleasant. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone who wants good value for money.

I would love to have had tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

would be happy to not have clean towels daily as an option . but would prefer provision of a kettle and coffee and tea. sockets not near bed or mirror. would have liked an iron rather than ironing rooms. would be nice to have a blind that makes it possible to get some natural light in the room with some privacy as overlooked by flats opposite.

The price was great and the towels and linens were soft as well. The mattress was so comfortable and the room a decent size, especially for the money. Exceptional coffee machine and affordable drinks and snacks available as well as a microwave in the lobby. The best aspect of this hotel, other than a central location is the staff. They all go way out of their way to be welcoming and try to track down things you need or may have forgotten. This was my second stay with them in Leeds and I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else when visiting my daughter at the conservatoire.

The room was exactly as I was expecting for a budget hotel, clean, spacious and a great location, only a 15 minute walk into the city centre. Parking is a 5 minute walk and the hotel give you a ticket to get a reduced rate. We asked for extra pillows, which were delivered to the room within 5 minutes. Staff were friendly & helpful. We booked quite a bit in advance for our room to date we were going and got a great rate, I wouldn’t pay more than £60 per night having stayed here

Very clean, great location, great views (if your room is facing the right way), easy check-in, great price. There is also a discount on parking at the nearby NCP multi-storey car park, but this wasn't part of the booking information so should be a selling point. The reception staff validate your car park ticket so a £20 parking cost for 24 hours was reduced to £8.70. Very handy.

Only real criticism is the shower door opens into the room, but its a 'budget' hotel and for the price this is more than acceptable for a one-night stay. If you are staying longer (and depending on who you are with) this could be a hassle.

The staff at this hotel is exceptional. They will help in everything they can and make sure you feel welcomed and taken care of. The room is basic, there is no hair dryer and you need to ask for one at the reception if you need one. The sheets and the matress are very comfortable. You can get tea whnever you like at the reception, there is also coffee (at additional cost) and some vending machines with drinks and snacks in case you get really hungry/desperate at nigt. The location is great, 4 minutes to the National Express bus station (where you can also find A1 Flyer buses to the airport) and within short walking distance from the main shopping street.

The room was okay for one person - might be quite small for two.

It was easy to get there from the coach station, Reception were really lovely people throughout the stay, I was put on the 9th floor which was okay. As a solo female traveller I felt safe and secure the whole weekend.

there was only one working lift the whole weekend which was a pain but didn’t spoil the weekend. the breakfast that costs £8.50 was very bad, out of the choices I only enjoyed the jam pastieries and a banana. I don’t recommend paying for breakfast.

It’s a bit annoying that ‘parking’ is listed in the ‘facilities’ section when there isn’t any. They offer discounted parking at a multi-storey car park which is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. I hadn’t planned for that so wasn’t expecting to have to lug my bags across the city. I’ve realised since that it does explain about the parking if you read the full description, but I don’t think it’s helpful to list that the hotel has Parking when it doesn’t.
