It was perfect distance for where we were going. Easy check in, breakfast was simple, but still lovely. Beds were comfy. Pillows were okay, but if you prefer softer pillows, I'd recommend bringing one. I'd go again, happily.

Honestly, my main issue it that when you go into the lift and scan your room card, selecting your floor for your room, the lift opens on the ground floor, same when trying to go down. It was more tedious, and felt a bit pointless when we are just trying to get to our room. Also, plugs and light switches near the beds in the twin rooms were literally right next to my head so I had to move down the bed(luckily I'm quite short) but my friend kept knocking herself on them

The room was fine for a short stay, it had everything we needed. Anything we didn't have we asked and it was provided immediately. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Although the chopped fruit ran out which is my favourite, they had whole fruit but it seems no one to chop it. I tried myself but it's not the same. The location was perfect for the train station, and for the city centre. We were going to the 02 academy which was a good 20 minute walk away, but the taxis are reasonable and arrive quickly. (About £6-£7 to the 02)

We had to change rooms due to the toilet breaking but we were looked after very well and the new room was only next door. However the sink was also blocked, but we were leaving the next day so it wasn't a problem. They would have repaired it straight away had been staying though. Great, helpful service thank you. The view was a brick wall, but we only used the room for sleeping so it didn't matter.

A very special visit in June this year to meet family who had never known each other existed. The staff here were told about my visit being a special one & were so kind, helpful & professional with us all. All of us were extremely happy with the rooms, food & the service & kindness shown to everyone. I actually left something important behind a medical document, they had discovered it & sent it to me immediately the next day. Marina on reception was particularly lovely & helpful.Lovely staff & hotel, would highly recommend, thank you everyone at the ibis.

The location is good for the Curve theatre which is why we come to Leicester. The room 116 on the first floor we stayed in was a reasonable size. The pod like bathroom had a small step into it which you must be careful not to trip over, but the shower worked well with a good flow & temperature control. If this hotel price beats the Premier inn we would stay again in the future

The receptionist needs to remember to tell you that the key card has a 15 minute delay before it works the lift, as we found out to our embarrassment, with another member of staff helping us & making us aware of this delay. Not something we have come across before in any other hotel.

Room was very clean and big enough. Breakfast was good and the location was excellent for easy access to city centre and the railway station. Dinner options were rather limited, but food was tasty and good value for money. The lobby/ breakfast area was very comfortable and welcoming and a nice place to do some work or relax and have a drink or meal if somebody didn't want to stay in their room or was too tired to go out to a bar or restaurant.

It would be nice if there were biscuits to accompany the tea and coffee-making facilities available in the room.

Clean, compact and comfortable. Within all of the places I needed to get to and most importantly within close enough proximity to the venue I was going to so that I was able to safely traverse a new place at night. Also that shower is just brilliant.

A little complicated to find at first from the bus station, but that’s more on google maps than anything else. There was a lot of noise going on through the night, which is par for the course in a hotel on a Saturday night I suppose. As a result, didn’t sleep as well as I’d have hoped. Leading to me waking with about twenty minutes before checkout. However after a conversation with a lovely member of reception, I was granted an hour extra time. This made so much difference.

Arrived late to a warm welcome and efficient check in. Very friendly and efficient staff. Good location. Very good value for what is essentialy the budget end of the market. Good facilities - well kept communal areas.

Hard pillows, only 3 pillows for a double room (I realise we could have gone to reception and got that sorted). Only one coat hanger in the open wardrobe (again, a trip to reception would have sorted that). No drawers in the bedside tables (in fact no drawers in the room at all).

the air con was good which was very needed in the heatwave. rooms decent, comfy bed. Great location to what we needed for the trip. Excellent value for money and would quite happily stay there again. Shower was excellent too.

Car park is very small so if driving it probably is gong to be difficult to park onsite, however there are a few carparks nearby that are suitable. The station car park behind if on a weekend is £8 a night (or all weekend)

Very friendly staff and comfy room, just on the ring road, a 5 minute walk from the station and just off the city centre. Cleam room, comfy bed and a great buffet breakfast offering full English option, cereals and fruit/croissants alongside a coffee machine with all major options and fruit juice.

Absolutely nothing. Would stay again. Only minor criticism is that entrance is only from car park and you enter at a lower level and go up 1 floor to reception. But that's only a minor inconvenience
