The room being on the ground floor because my husband has trouble with stairs. Very comfortable bed. Easy to use washing machine, cooker and shower. Door to the outside that we could prop open with a chair because of the heat.

Couldn't open the bedroom or kitchen window for ventilation to cool the rooms. On 2nd to last night guests above us were very loud. This included very loud talking, music and what sounded like furniture being dragged across the floor. We came back after 10.30pm and the noise was going on then. I fell asleep about 1.30am wearing earplugs. Was awakened at 5.45am by the noise. The 2nd night they seemed to be up all night but the noise was more muted and did not affect my sleep

The room and bathroom is beautifully decorated, fresh and full of colour and relaxing to stay in. It was also very clean, which was great. Had a great time staying 5 nights.

Not the staffs fault but was noisy with the neighbours above and the street outside was busy with traffic all night and people singing and shouting in the early hours of the morning which was annoying while staying. Although this is out of the staffs control I can't blame them they where always available if and needed anything and friendly. I would stay in a room away from the street if I wss to stay again due to the busy, noisy street.

The staff were very helpful when we locked ourselves out! It was in a very good location, not too noisy but near the centre of town.

The fact that you couldn't open any windows, there was a fan which we had on all the time we were in, but coming from Scotland I am a fresh air fiend. Also the pillows on the bed were so flat they were hardly there. Parking was the only other difficulty but that's out with your control. Maybe some ideas of where to park would be good.

Second stay in three years and two different rooms. While I preferred the bottom floor, very grand, the top floor is not really different in terms of what you’d want from a place. It’s spacious, always clean and good facilities. Loads of tea/coffee/milk too.

Nothing. Thought if I’m being picky, the door on the top floor needed to be pushed shut to lock. Which is a lifesaver if you run out to collect a takeaway and forget your key!

Location was fantastic

It was for me a shame there was no way to open the window at all. This was particularly frustrating as we were at the end of one of those heat waves we’ve had in England. I believe that there are some rooms in Rodney Street where you can open the window and it would be good to know that. There was a fan there but it was still very hot. I would come back, but not in the summer!

Property was great. Lovely comfortable room with kitchenette . Everything in kitchen that I needed. Clean and lovely decor .

Very noisy at night -difficulty sleeping

The location is fantastic, the property was well equipped and comfortable. We had a small issue with a fuse blowing in our flat losing some power and we contacted the agents and were immediately moved to a bigger flat without any charge. The service was fab and we had a lovely stay

Obviously wasn’t ideal that we had to swap flats mid-stay but we couldn’t complain really as the second flat was even nicer!

We have stayed here before and it fulfilled our expectations of an excellent and comfortable room with all amenities needed and very helpful hosts who assisted us when we had to arrange a further nights stay due to unforseen circumstances, 27 Rodney street will always be the go to place to stay for us when in Liverpool.

It would have been nice to be able to open the windows for some air but helpfully a fan was available

Well appointed, spacious, one roomed apartment. Handy for town and the philharmonic hall and near to bars and restaurants. Responsive when I phoned in a panic as we needed last minute left luggage facilities and they let us keep stuff in their sister hotel down the street.

I found it a bit too hot and it was not possible to open the window. Others in my family did not find this however.

Unfortunately there was a problem with the apartment so we couldn't stay there. The staff were brilliant and relocated us to their sister Hotel at the Ropewalks in Seel Street. It was a superb room and all the staff were very professional and courteous. There was a quality breakfast cooked to order too. Highly recommended. I will definitely book again as the location is right in the heart of some of the main bars in Liverpool.

We were disappointed that we didn't have an apartment as planned, but our service and treatment by staff were so impressive.
