The Inn staff gave us a lovely welcome. The car park advised to go to was great - £10 per 24hr stay. I'm glad I checked my email to find it instead of parking any old place! The room was big and spacious enough for what we needed & price paid. 2 single beds joined to make our 'double', which my partner loved for the extra space when too hot. The en-suite was perhaps a little small, but fit for purpose. The shower-head was moveable, which I liked, because I could enjoy a shower without getting my hair wet each time. The room had a fan, iron (both used) & hairdryer. We didn't use the tv. It was really local and easy to walk into the city for our plans and lots of places to eat/drink.

Not hotel specific, just destination. We knew it was in the city & expected noise, but not quite 4am starts! We had the windows on latch for fresh air. It got quiet fairly early, 11pm-ish, so you could get to sleep, but then bin lorries/buses etc began coming around 4-4.30 and increase of traffic from then, so I ended up catnapping a few hours each morning.

The room was great value (though I should mention that I was upgraded to a bigger room for free), with plenty of space and comfort. When there was a problem with the lights, the receptionist was very helpful in sorting it out. Great location in the city centre, but without any noise from the streets. Straightforward check-in.

At first, the main lights kept going off a few minutes after I'd inserted the card, and I couldn't turn them on again. The shower was very hot, and I didn't seem to be able to change the temperature by turning the control knob. A light above the bathroom sink would have been helpful - I couldn't see my face very well when shaving.

Excellent location for the City centre and nightlife, 3 minutes walk from Lime Street station, 6 minutes to Liverpool Empire theatre and directly opposite Mount Pleasant car park (£5.00 for 24 hours parking). Convenience shops and fast food outlets in the immidiate vacinity. Very friendly staff, very clean, warm and confortable rooms. Bathroom / shower were also spotlessly clean and with decent water pressure at the shower head. Small bar / lounge area serving a decent selection of reasonably priced drinks. I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

The hotel does not serve any food / breakfast but there are plenty of eating places within a very short walk - so this is not really a negative comment, and each room has basic tea/coffee making facilities. The public area- staircases and corridors are hard floors so you will experience some noise as other guests come stumbling back into the hotel in the wee small hours! but nothing that we considered overly excessive. The entrance location is a tad offputting, a fairly garish sign above a doorway over a bookies but don't let that put you off, you get an immidiate sense of cleanliness and calm as soon as you go through the front door.

Absolutely brilliant find.At first google maps sent us further up the road to another hotel which was closed but was directed just a short walk down to the Liverpool Inn.It didn't look great from outside but as soon as stepped through the door was greeted by a fabulous member of staff who checked us in early which was exceptionally kind. Our room was upgraded to a larger one which was great.Bed was huge and comfy.Tea,coffee and biscuits replenished ever day as we're our towels.Everything was perfect. Will definitely stay here again.

Location was very central, loads nearby including multi-story carpark and train station just 6 minutes walk away. Room was very small, but that is already described before booking. There was a generator or air-con unit outside our window (we had a view of fire escape) which made a constant droning noise, this didn't bother me or my wife but others may be more sensitive to it. Room was clean, bed very comfortable and ensuite was to a good standard.

Lack of a view from bedroom window, but I wasn't there for sightseeing so made little difference, also the noise from outside room window was droning, not an inconvenience to me but others may find it so.

The hotel was very clean. Friendly staff. Great location and new biscuits each day nice touch

We were in a 3 bedded room and my bed semt to be on a slope. Also day we arrived i had an accident with the kettle with boiling water what could have been more serious than it was. I dropped the kettle of boiling water and just a few splashes went on my daughters foot. I was trying to get it bac k in the stand which was c urved round and think it happened because i am left handed and it was for a right hand person.

The Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is in a prime location and vulnerable to noises from outside and within. It turned out the room was quiet and no noises from neighbors as the rooms were designed to be well isolated. We have a window facing the back fire exit which is mostly quiet except for a repetitive low pitch humming noise, probably due to a big exhaust chimney. With the window closed, my daughter can sleep well. I had to use ear plugs. It worked out. The other thing is about climbing two flights of stairs with heavy luggage. I am alright with that but some guests may need help.

The location was perfect for roaming around the centre. The room was adequate for the purpose, just needs more space for a coffee table. The door handle to the loo was loose so that was a minus otherwise I couldn't ask for more. Steve was very helpful and friendly. If I ever go back to Liverpool this is the place for me!!

Outside doors need a slower closer as doors outside make a loud noise when closing. But it wasn't so annoying just a note for the engineers to adjust it.

The location was ideal for my visit, very near to the main train stations and everything I needed was within walking distance. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Not a bad thing as such, but my room had an extractor tube from a neighbouring restaurant right outside the window (although the hotel manager did warn me about this and there was a fan provided in my room so that I didn't have to open the windows when the restaurant extractor was in operation).

So this little place is a hidden gem ! From the outside its barely noticeable, not the case once inside, its very nice. Little reception area with bar (and where luggage can be stored post check out) Our room was lovely, nice modern decor and very clean, tea and coffee facilities and towels. Its in a perfect location for the centre of Liverpool, literally a 5 min walk away. The reception is manned 24 hours too incase theres any issues (which there werent) Would 100% stay here again ! Lovely staff too 👍

The only tiny thing i can pick up on is our shower took a while to get hot but it wasnt a problem, we just kept it running beforehand to warm up before using it.
