Diego is a top man. Lovely employee. Great base overall for my trip to Liverpool. Can’t fault them at all for the hostel. Obviously as with any hostel, the people you share with are random and can always affect the stay but that’s not the fault of international inn.

Good value for a private twin room with ground based beds. and a desk.Fairly quiet. Clean bathroom. Very nice to have a reading light attached to the headboard. Fun entertainment facilities with TV, pool table.Staff are at front desk 24/7.
No bread in the kitchen for breakfast toast. No milk for cereal.. Lots of street noise from the nearby pubs as our room faced the street. Bring earplugs. Very flat single pillow.

I liked the room, the cleanliness and the location
I missed activities between the hosted provided by the hostel, the place is good in general, but it doesn’t provide a good space for interaction, i wouldn’t recommend for solo travelers

We have actually stayed before and had a private twin room in the hostel side. On arrival this time, we were told we were in the Cocoon (hotel side), and had a nicer room, with free towels, nicer bathroom, and a kettle. I felt like we got a free upgrade, I'm not sure why, but it was great. I would have still been very happy with the hostel side room we had previously for the price we paid, though. We have re-booked for another trip, and as we're staying a bit longer next time, we've paid a bit more to stay in the Cocoon again. I would stay in the private hostel rooms for 1 night again and again, but for those wanting to stay in the city a bit longer, the Cocoon rooms are nice for a more comfortable stay for about £100/night.
WiFi is a bit pants but it wasn't a big issue. I would also quite like if there was an option to order a pre-packed continental breakfast, like just a croissant, bread & jam, and a fruit juice, for a few pounds. We seem to end up going for a full English at a pub every time we stay here, because even just down the road on Bold Street, not many places seem open for breakfast before 10am on Sundays.

Staff were really friendly and accommodating to anything we needed. Really pleasant stay here. Memory foam pillows and a comfy blanket was a nice touch. It was noisy but didn't bother us as we all slept through it. Check in nice and easy. When we got there the room wasn't quite ready but a member of staff who I assume was on her break got up to sort the room out for us which I was really grateful for! Room was clean 😊 Would definitely recommend and stay again.

It was a bit noisy in the area outside until midnight so we did not have the best night ever, but I felt I was very happy the staff did their best to help everyone with their rooms and even called a cab and help load the bags.
It is too bad that the visitors in the rooms are sometimes in between homes whereas other solo travels come in because of business necessity and therefore it is inappropriate to complain too much since everyone gets along anyway.

The location is good, within approximately 15 minutes walking distance from the city centre. Many tourist attractions to visit nearby too. The staff was excellent with a 24hour reception open. Very clean premises and a well-equipped and specious kitchen and a large common area with pool table and television.
The hostel is located near bars and restaurants and it gets quite noisy during the night. I was pretty unlucky with my roommates too, they were really annoying and disrespectful but this is clearly a matter of luck, the staff of the hostel can’t do anything about that.

Excellent location! The main center streets are available within 10min walk, train or bus station within 15min walk. Some shops and kiosks and bars are very close. Comfortable beds, decent bathroom.
No option to rent a towel. There's some sort of "restaurant" next door that may be a hassle to someone, as they played music until 1AM (not finding this troublesome personally) and the window has no curtains. Very hot in the room.

no bunks, so you can sit on your bed & no climbing-cage underneath for valuables, hanging rail with hangers for clothes, shower/lloo in room with extra in hallway. Kitchen well equipped & free coffee/tea free, with lots of seating, lounge room with pool table books TV etc. Loads of pubs & food venues nearby, Right near St Lukes bombed out church. Overall a great place and good value.
Room 5 Currently building works going on next door & pub empyting bottles late at night., I think other rooms may not be affected Also a bit of an uphill walk from the Dock area. Buses do pass by,

I always stay here when I am back in my beloved Liverpool. Like second home. Natasha is welcoming & friendly as always & all staff to many mention always lovely also. If you're staying in the dorm room or private room, they are very accommodating to your needs. Full kitchen to use great for cooking quick breakfast or snack. Loads affordable eatery nearby also. Place is full of character, including the guest and a lot of repeated customers I meet frequently. My little home from home when I was not home. Thank you to all staff for all the hard work they do in a busy establishment.
The only thing I'd recommend is to keep the vending machine stocked regularly, really cheap and convenient, and also a key card to open both sides of the hotel when you're staying in the private rooms.
