Guy with short ponytail checked me in very fast with no fuss, was friendly & welcoming & made me a latte which was lovely after a cold walk in the rain. Guy with affro on nights was also very helpful & friendly. Sorry, don't know names but lovely staff. 5 min walk from lime street station and carpark right facing hostel £5 a day. 5 min from Cathedral, 15 min from the Albert Dock which is a lovely walk, day or night. Plenty of food choice around, close to all amenities and attractions. Building is great, quirky, arty, room was clean and warm, welcoming, steaming hot raindrop shower with shampoo/conditioner/soap/tissues. Portable heater in room but didn't need it, was warm all the time even in December. Linen and towels lovely and white, bed very comfy. Building was quiet and calm. Would recommend and would stay again, for sure. Perfect location for night out, shopping trip, Beatlemania. Close to everything.

No tea/coffee facilities in room or TV but it is a hostel, not hotel, but would still rather see more tea making facilities, especially if paying for private room. Still, you can buy nice coffee at reception or nearby and I believe there is a TV in the lounge, also wifi is good.

Very chill and friendly vibe, cozy areas to hang around communal areas. Staff very nice, beds comfy, very good location!

There was no hot water, maybe something could've been done about it but I didn't complain, didn't mind it too much tbh. Walls are paper thin tho, can hear anything and everything but again don't mind

The staff is really friendly. As a woman travelling abroad, and alone, I must say how welcoming they were. Right at the reception you are going to notice how warm they are. I really felt safe there. You are going to see the menu and prices around, which is great, especially if u r on a budget. The bedroom was comfortable; there were other people sharing the bedroom (it fits 10). But they do follow and respect the instructions/rules of the place. I really can't complain and once again, I was feeling safe (which means a lot when you are in a new environment). They didn't speak loudly for even one moment; and each person was just minding their business!!! Congrats!! And thank you for the time and peace and quiet I had at your place. PS.: blankets on the bed already!!! Perfect.

It would be interesting to have more places to hang towels/clothes in the bathroom.

Great location, right in the city centre and a short walk from the train station. Value for money was excellent. Room was basic but clean, nicely decorated. Staff were all very friendly.

The value for money and cleanliness was very gud. Rustic old building but everywhere was clean.

In restaurant no menus on table No menu board. This was better at reception cafe. On arrival no welcome. I had to present myself and open up conversation. In YHA or anywhere else its ' hello you're welcome to ***, how can I help you, where have you comed from? No appreciation that people maybe travelled far and are wrecked. On checking in they should orientate you to building ie where toilets are. They could say there is the restaurant, beer garden and we have a place for luggage storage, none of which was pointed out. I had to ask for everything..wifi, directions...it got tedious. Staff were nice but need to better understand needs of traveler. It was overall excellent but this issue could easily be rectified.

Location: 10 points Cleanliness: 10 points Atmosphere: 10 points Staff: 10 points The building is antique in excelent conditions with a fantastic architectural style. Los buses hacia y desde el aeropuerto, paran a 200 metros. Very quiet and a lot of respect between travelers and staff

As a review: 1) My bed made a lot of noise. Every time I moved, I woke up and woke up others. The beds are anchored to chipboard plates and that friction between the metal and the wood generates a very annoying noise and strong. 2) Each bed has its locker but does not have a lock or device for a padlock.

We stayed in the suite which was very spacious and had a huge bathroom. The sitting area was great and there was plenty of room for our luggage - we didn’t feel like we were always tripping over our bags. Overall we liked this place and it was great value for money.

Being close to the train station was good but it was a little further out from the city centre than a lot of other places. There are some good common areas but it wasn’t a place that people socialised much. If you want to meet people the kitchen is the place to be. A TV would have been a great addition to the suite.

Extremely clean room. Nice location. I loved the fact it was close to China Town, and there was nearby an excellent food hall where we had our lunch. It was a few minutes away from Liverpool One, which is a party area. Since it was a sunny Saturday afternoon we spent the majority of it walking around it and had fun listening to the music and dancing along the locals.

I found the shower facilities a bit annoying. The shower tap is single and goes from cold to hot, so you cannot escape the initial unpleasant cold feeling. The shower head is high and not much movable. I would recommend to bring a good shower cap for people who don't want to wet their hair whilst showering. The toilet however was super new and clean.

The staff were absolutely amazing. A lad called Brandon just went above and beyond for us and couldn't have made our stay any more pleasant if he tried. The location of the hotel was perfect for us as comic coners. It's a stones throw from Liverpool lime Street station and the town centre for shopping, and it's a 10min walk to the docs. The beds are by far the most comfortable beds I've slept in in any hotel I've been in, and I've traveled for many years 💜 🛏️ The rooms were super clean, you could smell the chlorine when you walked in (which I loved 😂) The building itself is lovely. There's a lovely little nook at the window to sit at, then there's a restaurant type area with a pool table and music. All round lovely place. We have absolutely found our go to place for comic con now.

There was only one issue for us with the hotel. I stayed there twice in two consecutive weekends, the first weekend the room was absolutely perfect, like it had never been used, but the second time we stayed, the room we were in clearly had a condensation issue. There was mould around the doors and water dripping from the ceiling. We kept the windows open whilst we were out, to ventilate the room, but there is clearly an issue there that needs sorting. As I said though, it wasn't the issue in the first room, so I think it's a bit of a pot luck type of situation. Regardless of this issue, it absolutely wouldn't stop us from staying there again.
