Quirky Hotel situated just outside the city centre. 15 minute walk to Liverpool 1. Just around the corner from the top of Bold Street, where there is a multitude of restaurants. Good bed and nice and dark at night. Patio area just outside room. There are plenty of sockets with USB charging points. Nice big TV. There is a lift to all floors should you need it.

Just missing a few minor touches. No bedside tables to keep essentials close at night (phone, wine glass etc.) 😆 No toilet roll holder, and shower screen was too small to stop water getting all over the floor. The wireless electric blind was intermittently operated by the next room as I'm sure theirs was when we operated ours. 😁

Staff were very friendly and polite. They kindly stored my luggage at reception whilst the room was being prepared, which was most appreciated. Hotel was ideally placed in the centre of Liverpool. Provided easy access to my destinations. Room was very spacious with a kettle for making tea + a desk and chair which was a nice addition. Bed was incredibly comfy.

Since there was no door to close the shower, the bathroom floor became wet after using the facility. Having said that, it wasn't a big inconvenience. Towels were available to mop up the water.

So quiet considering it’s in town, it was clean and had everything we needed for our trip. Bed was so comfy and I loved the electric blinds and the fact you have every style of glass needed and an amazing fridge! Oh and the first time I’ve a had a cup of tea in a hotel and actually drank it as there was no timescale in the kettle!! So Thankyou :-)

The lift caused us a few issues, could’ve done with having someone explain the process with the card. Not able to move between the floors, when your party is spread between 3 floors we couldn’t just pop to room to pick up something the other person had in their bag (socks!) did make us laugh a lot though! Also, the card in the room said snacks and there isn’t, but so many shops near by so wasn’t a hardship!

Very clean room. Nice to have a fridge as you don't always get that in hotels. Champaign and wine glasses provided in addition to the usual tea and coffee facilities. Free wifi included. Hair dryer included. Welcome pack tells you everything you need to know. Ideal location close to plenty of food and drink places, also close to all the shopping areas and within walking distance to the Royal Albert dock. We got a basement room which does mean there's only small windows so if this bothers you, you may need to specify the type of room you want when booking.

It was nearly impossible to contact the venue prior to our stay. Phoned both the business number and the mobile number and nobody answers. You cannot control the room temperature yourself, it must be done at reception which was awkward as you need to know exactly what temperature you want in advance. No iron/board in the room.

Really good value for money, nice room, friendly staff, comfortable bed, good shower, near the train stations and city centre. Would definitely stay here again,

Tiny quibbles that I mention as (hopefully) useful feedback to the hotel and info for guests: I couldn't quite work out how to control the blinds. An electronic controller on the side seemed to only give the option of all the way up or all the way down. So strong sunshine or total darkness. Also, the heating seemed to be either/or, with a switching point that you can't choose. I recall being hot in bed and pushing the duvet off then soon after waking because cold air blowing over me. But to repeat: these little things didn't detract massively from a nice stay.

Hotel was close to shopping, bars, restaurants but in a quiet enough area that we did not hear any of the pub noise at night time. The staff were very accommodating, we asked for extra supplies and they were delivered very quickly. Always someone on reception to help. The man on reception was very informative about the area. He asked if we were smokers and was able to put us into a room on the ground floor with access to an enclosed outdoor area. The electric black out blinds were fantastic. And to top it all off we had a Bruce Springsteen picture in our room - I was absolutely delighted with that :)

I'm being extremely picky now as I could not fault the hotel on anything, the only thing that would have made the stay more enjoyable would have been some fresh milk in the fridge!!!

My stay at Duke Street Boutique was exceptional! The room was spacious, stylish, and impeccably clean, with a fantastic bathroom. The thoughtful amenities, like the fridge, glasses, also featured electric blinds that ensured a restful night’s sleep by keeping the room perfectly dark and added a nice touch. The reception team was incredibly kind and accommodating, allowing us to store our bags before and after check-in, which made our experience seamless and stress-free. I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service and comfortable accommodations. Can't wait to return! I cannot recommend Duke Street Boutique highly enough.

This great little hotel is located centrally in Liverpool and was ideal for our visit to the philharmonic Hall. The room was good sized and had a comfy bed. Bathroom was really clean and well stocked with handwashing, shower gel etc, and plenty of towels. It’s very secure, you can’t just wander in off the street. Very helpful staff. Would definitely use this place again.

They don’t do breakfast, but we knew this when booking, and there’s plenty of places to grab something nearby. If you want a late checkout (12 noon) it will cost you 20 quid, but worth it if you’ve had a late night!

I love staying here when visiting from Dublin, my mum lives just across the road, so when I stay it is mainly to visit family, this time travelling I was 6 months pregnant and really needed comfort, Paul at reception was amazing, he was really helpful and kind, he checked myself and my husband in an hour and half earlier then check in time, so I could get some sleep. The room was spotless as always, bed so comfy, love having the fridge and the bathroom is lovely with a great shower, even though I never travel to party in the city, its never been noisy and always enjoyable, I've been here 3 times now and has been amazing each time.

Maybe a better quality hair dryer, but that's me trying to think of something
