The hotel is in a great location. Close to the main centre full of shops, bars and restaurants. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Rooms were ok and bed comfortable . Bar was lively through the day. Breakfast was lovely with a wide choice of drinks to suit all.
There was a musty smell when you walk into room like damp but we wasn't too bothered as it was somewhere to put our head for the night and you can't smell it after a while. The rooms need a tidy up as there was plaster patching on walls. The ceiling fan was extremely dusty and was over bed but didn't see any fallen dust.

The cleanliness of the property was really nice and the staff were very welcoming and they even let me check in early as my room was ready. The location is spot on, a short walk from lime Street train station and within walking distance of all you would want to see in Liverpool by this I mean the city centre, the theatre, the Albert Docks, fantastic hotel. The hotel does a wonderful full English breakfast, also tea and coffee variety was outstanding and a good offering of cereals and orange juice also provided, this property is fantastic to for those that like their football, as it’s located within their bar, no need to look for a pub elsewhere, what more would you need, food a couple of drinks, the footy and your room seconds away to go and rest and chill out.
It was all rather lovely to me, I had no issues

What s not to like about Liverpool? Hotel was great, with spacious rooms and all amenities. Well located, great breakfast and walking distance to most attractions. Great bar with plenty of selections too. Taxi rank is across the street also.
The music is too loud if you re on the first floor and want an early night. You ll be waiting til after midnight on Fridays/Saturdays. No dinner served either, but eateries are all around. Wifi is near useless, and tv has most channels null and void. What channels there is are rubbish also, so definate room for improvement. Youtube is available most places these days.

Location was perfect for all aspects of travel to the city. Easy access to everything Liverpool has to offer, tourist attractions, shopping, rail networks, museums and football stadiums a bus ride away.. Plenty of bars and restaurants close by not to mention a plethora of bars and cafes . All this and a fantastic cooked breakfast waiting for you, when you leave your immaculately cleaned room.
Nothing to fault. But I am aware Friday and Saturday nights may be noisier than normal due to the outside crowds going about their partying.

The staff were amazing, welcoming and friendly. When I needed a ride to the airport in the morning they were very helpful in both finding a ride as well as answering a few other questions I had. There was karaoke night when I stayed and the staff were kind to clap for my dubious attempt at an Elvis song.
Not too much to say. It was a really wonderful experience and I'm a little sad I didn't plan for a longer stay. Coming from America, I was a little surprised at the room size, but despite that the room was wonderful and very clean.

The location is amazing. The staff were all very kind, they accommodated my request as best as possible. The room was clean and tidy, and the water pressure from the shower was spot on! The breakfast was tasty (I ordered fried eggs and bacon instead of the English breakfast). I'd stay here again.
It was noisy in the afternoon when I was trying to sleep. The bar next to it thinks it can blast everyone's brain with its noise even if you're not in their venue. The Hanover Hotel has a sign saying they have complained formally to the authorities but the authorities didn't care. Luckily, at night when I came back from an event, the noise was at discreet levels and it was fine.

You won’t find much better value in the city centre. Flew into John Lennon Airport, got the 500 bus from there to Liverpool One bus station, 5 minute walk and you’re here. Front desk was friendly and efficient, room was basic but fine. Decent shower and TV to watch the Euros.
There is a warning on the front desk about the nightclub across the street, and it’s also clear on the website that it will be noisy. The noise is outrageous, and the people spilling out of the club at 3am are terrible examples of British youth. But put some earplugs in and enjoy the price!

The hotel was located in a great area of town because it was walkable and close to all the major sites one may want to see in Liverpool. It's close to the shopping district, restaurants, pubs and Beatles sites. Its also right on a bus line and within walking distance of the railway station. Breakfast was great!
The hotel is above a bar and on a busy bar-lined street so it gets pretty noisy at night, particularly Friday - Sunday. It's also noisy in the mornings when the street sweepers come through and the bar's resupply of kegs are delivered.

The staff were obliging in helping out with keeping our luggage safe. The breakfast staff were efficient and the food was good. The room was basic - no hairdryer or telephone, but there was a kettle etc, a TV and a safe. The bathroom was fine. The bed was comfortable and an extra pillow and blanket were provided. Very convenient location - walking distance to the Royal Albert dock but also Lime Street station.
The bar is not a very pleasant place for breakfast but was acceptable. As warned it was a noisy location but that did not disturb my sleep.

First, to talk about the Elephant in the room - the Hotel is in the very centre, therefore, and it's mentioned by the owners, so if you have light sleep, this might not be for you. I am a heavy sleeper - give me a cozy bed and I'll sleep though everything. And the bad was cozy, soft, clean and nice, therefore I got an excellent night of sleep. If you are a light sleeper through, just pack ear-plugs. Room is not big, but has all the necessities in the price range. Staff is really friendly and helpful, breakfast bar well supplied, the warm breakfast will fill you up nicely and a bar with cheap beer is always a nice thing to have close to your accomodation. Here, it's just to the right from the lobby. I'll see you next time I'm visiting Liverpool!
Only thing I would mention is that the shower only has over-head showerhead, it would be definitely better to have a hose too. But the water pressure is decent, so you can take the shower without any complications.
