The location was good once you find the hotel. See what I didn't like. Anyway, it had a good breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was good. It was close to things and buses.

The entrance is off on a side street that is hard to find. Once on the side street you only know that it is a hotel because of a small sign. This place also has apartments, so the entrance is unpersoned and looks like an apartment entrance. It is locked. It wasn't obvious that there was a call box to enter, but somebody coming out let us in. After you check in one floor up, they give you a card for the door. They say they are remodeling for a new entrance, but if that hasn't been done; when you get there look for a small sign and a button to push on a call box to have them let you in.

Staff - We saw Rob on front desk almost every day where he always greeted us with a brilliant welcoming smile. He was superb and really helpful with any questions regarding our room, the aparthotel, other facilities, local haunts, directions for sightseeing especially because he's from Liverpool he has a wealth of knowledge and he'd have a quick chat about our day (if he had time) which was friendly yet professional too. A Gold Star and Thank You to Rob.

The small street outside of the entrance was a bit grubby at times and although I understand this is not the fault of aparthotel it was off putting.

A very comfy room, with plenty of space. The option to store the bed away and have the sofa out was a great feature I made plenty of use of. Fabulous wardrobe storage. Bathroom was really nice, big shower. Location is fantastic, with the windows closed there was virtually no street noise, and for a city centre hotel, I was impressed. Facilities in the room were great. Kitchenette was great. Plenty of drying facilities which was a bonus. Dishwasher was a very welcome surprise too. Lovely spacious room.

Just a few minor things: The hairdryer was definitely on the weaker side, not the best if you've long hair as it gets pretty hot to hold after some time. 'One shower gel does all' is not the vibe, please look into offering actual shampoo and conditioner. Also for the kitchenette possibly look at being able to offer guests stuff like little oil packets or butter to cook with. TVs could do with being updated/fully tuned.

Location was great. Laundry facilities in the building were an added bonus, and amenities in the room made it like a home away from home. Most staff encountered were very friendly and helpful e.g. with helping to get luggage up the steps to the lift

Most of the doors in the kitchen were broken or loose, and dishes were dirty in the cupboards. Was dark in the bathroom as a light needed replaced at the mirror. The lifts were very temperamental, both were out of service on the day of departure. Person at desk attempted to charge a £20 fee to check in before 3pm, not noted anywhere on booking.com Also seemed to be people living in some of the apartments, encountered dogs in the corridor and shared areas a few times while there

The apartment was very clean and had a small kitchen stocked with utensils and a full sized fridge. The bed was great and the bathroom clean and modern. Location was brilliant - opposite Liverpool Central Station and just one block walk to Bold Street - a whole street of fabulous restaurants. We had exceptional meals at KO GRILL (Indian) and CRUST (authentic Italian pizza). Our favourite coffee shop was BOLD STREET CAFE. Apartment was also a 15 minute walk to the docks where all the museums and art galleries are located. We extended our stay.

Nothing.

Room was very spacious with plenty of storage. Shower room was large with great amenities. Desk area was great along with free wifi. Kitchen was bigger than expected. Bed was very large and extremely comfy.

I was initially excited there was a Nespresso machine but a shame that there were no pods to use it. Shower pressure was a little lacking. Kettle was a little worse for wear. No scissors in kitchen. Windows were quite mucky on the outside.

- We had a studio for our stay and it was great. - It is very good for anyone with a baby because of the kitchenette. It had all the stuff we need for preparing baby stuff. - It's also great for travellers who wants simple home utils, like ironing or using kitchen (e.g cooking their own stuff). - Everything was clean and tidy and staff were very friendly and helpful.

- We asked for a baby cot since we have a baby and it was ready in the room when we arrived. However, it didn't have a mattress for the baby, only folded sheet! It was more confusing when we asked for it and they said that's how the baby cot works. We've been to a lot of accommodations with baby cot and all had mattress for the baby, so it didn't make sense at all. - The bed is basically a sofa bed, so when it's a bed it had wooden and steel parts on the side uncovered with anything, so it was very dangerous for the baby, she actually slipped and hit her head with the steel and got injured shortly after we arrived.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast very nice and varied. Clean and nice apartments.

It's a very busy area, lots of pubs with loud music in the direct neighbourhood. For a poor sleeper like me, sometimes the music disturbed me (but my window couldn't be shut properly due to a technical problem, which I discovered only after a couple of days). Also, the WiFi was not ideal. I had to check in again almost every day and it was not the most stable connection.

Good location for almost everything. Clean, simple and practical room layout and design. The staff were professional and helpful and the breakfast although simple but was satisfying.

The hotel entrance was under renovation when I arrived. The directions weren't clearly demarcated and it was difficult if not impossible to get through to the reception from outside the hotel. There should have been a notice on the Booking.com website that says this hotel is under renovation. The room heating control was not user-friendly enough.

This was my second stay at the Adagio. The location is super convenient and the staff is really great. Kudos to the receptionist (from Madrid), who helped me when I needed to change rooms because of my age and medical condition as well as Alicia, the cook, who was just fantastic. All the staff were just great, and I know I'll come back again. Also, it is so cool that the hotel has started a book nook for its guests!

Everything was fine.
