very close to Aintree, comfortable and warm. breakfast was great. Off road parking. we had 2 rooms both very spacious. decent size bathroom in one of the rooms. over all a great stay. the bed was low down in room 9, fine for us but no good if you struggle to get up. would stay again.

I was in room number 9 and there was a humming noise. Must admit I didn't speak to anyone about it because once I fell to sleep I was flat out. I wasn't get in until really late and it wasn't all the time. the shower wasn't very powerful had to turn it off eco mode to make it warm.

The on site restaurant was so good, the immediate area mainly just has takeaways, no up market restaurants. The hotel restaurant is great, excellent food at very reasonable prices. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Bedroom was a good size, comfortable bed.

The coffee/milk in room was not topped up daily. For a major coffee drinker that was disappointing. However I am sure that had I asked the staff would have willingly gave me some. Only other issue was no do not disturb sign for bedroom door. I didn't always want to leave early after breakfast and sometimes went back to bed but there was always the fear that I'd be disturbed.

The lady who served us when we arrived was lovely and very accommodating as we needed to check in early to get the keys. She was very helpful. The hotel and room were nice and clean, although a bit old fashioned (not that it's a problem). The room was also surprisingly sound proof as we didn't hear anyone walking around in the morning (which you might have expected from a building like this). There's parking around the back which is useful too, but good bus and rail connections nearby. The breakfast we had the next morning was tasty, and they have a good little selection of hot food and cereals. Also good that it's included in the stay.

There wasn't much to dislike except maybe the style of the rooms. The mattress was a bit springy but I still had a fine night's sleep.

Friendly staff and owner, great service, wonderful English breakfasts, bottomless coffee pot, they remember our names, Liz makes sure my grandson has hot chocolate for breakfast and sticks plenty of sachets in the room for him. The lovely new Tapas and grill and bar are open most evenings , we tried it a few times👍The location is easy walk to Orrell Station which takes you to Ormskirk or Liverpool central in approx 12 min, change at Sandhills if you want to go to Southport lots of buses at the vale to take you to Liverpool /Everton ground or Great Homer St market. lots of local shops, and bars.

The hotel was cozy, mostly quiet, and we slept very well! Breakfast was great!

The water pressure in the shower was pretty low, it was down to a trickle at times. I believe they are doing some plumbing upgrades so hopefully that‘s a tenporary problem… Also, breakfast was pretty early on weekdays - we would have wished for a slightly later time because we got back to the hotel pretty late.

Very nice hotel in Orell park. Comfy room and clean. Food was fantastic.

The only thing I would recommend is to make the front door quieter. It bangs hard, when we were there. There was a function at their restaurant below, and the door slamed a lot till about midnight. Was hard to fall asleep.

Great Breakfast - There is a small buffet selection of Fruit and Cereal, and a small Cooked breakfast choice. The staff are friendly and get you Tea/Coffee/Toast immediately, with a 15 minute wait for the cooked food. This is reassuring as we know that they only cook to order. All rooms are clean and you are free to come and go as you please. Outside breakfast, you won't see anyone unless you summon them. The WiFi is easy to connect to and good for all applications. There's a small intimate bar that serves drinks with indoor and outdoor seating. There's a supermarket and some shops in walking distance. Plenty of free parking on road, and in their car park. The nights are quiet with no traffic noise or trouble.

Depending on the room you're in, the WiFi can be a little buffered, but still functional. The place runs like clockwork, and there's a rigid 7:30am breakfast start. (that said, I didn't ask for an earlier option, so have no idea if they would accommodate it)

Friendly staff, delicious complementary cooked breakfast, good sized room that was pretty clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was huge. Tea, coffee and biscuits refreshed every day. Big lounge downstairs. Great location near a train line and buses. An asda is near by if needed.

Room could do with a repaint at some point. Lighting in the bathroom could be better. Pretty minor things overall.

The location may be difficult to rate as it was 45 minute walk from our conference venue so not the hotel’s fault but it was an ok walk- breakfast was nice.

Duvet wasn’t very clean but to be fair I didn’t mention it as was too tired to go back downstairs so didn’t give an opportunity to rectify and we’re waiting email receipt but staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was light and a good size. Bath was ok but mouldy around the taps needs a little TLC

Breakfast vert good, juice, tea/ coffee, toast, cereal, fruit, yoghurt and choice of cooked I.e scrambled egg, full English. Walking distance to. metro stop and bus stop outside. Bar available and lounge a well as option for a n evening meal. Outdoor space at front. Owner very knowledgeable on local transport and whet to see, very helpful and accommodating.
