Me and a friend stayed here just last weekend, our main reason for visiting Liverpool was to go to a booked event in Liverpool centre. From the moment we got there Anne was an absolute diamond making sure we had everything we needed. The rooms & bathrooms were modern & upto date. The train station is literally a stone throw away but not once did we hear the trains in our room. It’s a maybe 8 minute train ride to Liverpool central. There is a 24hr McDonald’s literally next door. We had food in the restaurant downstairs. I can’t tell you how much we enjoyed our food it was beautiful. And very well priced. I cannot honestly find a single issue with our stay here and we definitely will be back. Thank you to Anne and everyone else who made it such a good stay. See you all again

The previous reviews on this property have said it all. Great room and even though my room was on the street side the glazing is superb as there was hardly any noise from a busy main road. Facilities were good and the bathrooms (2) were clean and tidy. I didn't actually meet Ann but had a very friendly welcome call from her during the day. However, I don't want to appear picky but have to question the property listing as a bed and breakfast as breakfast is not served on the premises. It is also quite confusing about where to get breakfast as in one part of the process it states that breakfast can be booked through the restaurant below prior to arrival, yet in another part of the process it states that breakfast can be found at a facility 100m away! One photo shows the property with the Dracula Restaurant below, another shows it with Frattelli Restaurant below. I think some clarity is required please as I missed breakfast completely. On the subject of the Dracula restaurant, it is a Romanian themed restaurant with a good range of both traditional Romanian and other quality dishes. You'd better be hungry.

Host called me within a few minutes of the booking. Gave me directions to the property and where to park. Enquired about arrival times as at certain time advised keys would be in the restaurant rather than someone on the hotel receiption. Room was very clean and smart. Corridors all well maintained. Tea & coffee in the room and a water fountain in the hallway. Bathrooms were clean and nice. Beds were comfy.

No issues at all. I dont think there is a lift so this is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. But nice hotel run by nice people.

clean, comfortable, large shower rooms, cameras made us feel secure, tea & coffee machine in hallway & bedroom, Great bar & restaurant underneath, Romanian & very friendly, lovely food, “the beef soup is a must”… Anne will do anything to make your stay as comfortable as possible, you won’t get service like this in a Hotel.

The property is on a busy main road, so if you are a light sleeper this might be a problem, the rooms have new Upvc windows but you can still hear the traffic. I always travel with those yellow squidgy ear plugs just in case of noisey neighbours or roads, it wasn’t an issue for me.

Ann was lovely. Called before hand to welcome us. Special greeting in arrival and just couldn't do enough to welcome us. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfy. Even ironed our clothes for us. If you want a place that's clean, charming and close to Anfield and the centre this is it.

Ann was lovely and friendly and she couldn't do enough for her guests. She helped with info on buses to the concert. Despite being full, the place was not noisy and I had a great sleep in a comfy bed. The bathroom was big and very clean, towels were fluffy and large. Ann brought us a kettle for the room and lots of supplies to make drinks. Was a great price to say The Rolling Stones were in town. Some places were charging over five times their normal price!

The outside was a bit rough but Ann did say they are on with tidying it up - just waiting for tradespeople to come. Ìt didn't bother me, but my mum isn't keen on a shared bathroom. We did however know this when booking, so it wasn't a surprise.

friendly homely very clean spacious, and Anne so helpful and welcoming parking was very easy - it is on the street opposite which is a long cul de sac and I stayed 10 days and always very easily found a parking spot at any time of day - car can also be seen from the front of the property sharing a bathroom was never a problem as 7 rooms and 2 bathrooms - in 10 days of staying there was always either both or at least one bathroom free.

all very good

Booked for legends match at Anfield for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). Anne was lovely, so helpful and works hard to make your stay enjoyable. Room was lovely and clean. Shared bathroom just across from our room which was cleaned spotlessly after use. Anne gave us lots of info about how to get to the football ground and about the local area and was so kind to give the kids some crisps and treats. No parking facilities on site but Anne informed us before arrival that there was residential streets opposite which we parked in and it was absolutely great. I thought breakfast was included with it being a B&B but it was tea and coffee making facilities and room only, however McDonald's is literally across the road which was amazing. There's lots of shops locally too to buy any supplies you need. Thanks for a lovely stay Anne.

The room was nice, and Anne was very warm & helpful. The place is 15 minutes to Anfield stadium by bus or a 45 minutes walk. Macdonalds & Dominos pizza are less than a minute walk, and 2 big supermarkets are 10 minutes away. The bathrooms & toilets are not in the room (shared for the hotel's guests), but they were available most of the time. The train stop is a minute walk and the bus stop is a few minutes walk. The wifi was pretty good in the room.
