Perfect location for travelling. Train and underground 5 minutes walk away and lots of food places around for something quick and surprising cheap. Not quite a destination stay if your looking at staying in the room or activities in that area as there isn't much around but its central for travel. If its just a base you then its perfect if your on a site seeing trip. The reception team are really nice and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I would happily return here again

A bit dated but sufficient for what I needed it for. Breakfast could have had more to offer, eggs maybe or something warm other then toast. But for £5 it was fine.

The hotel is very conveniently located - just across the street from King's Cross Station, literally a 7-minute walk. The room is tiny and cramped - it is but to be expected in central London. It's relatively clean, the tiny bathroom is functional, too. It's an ok place to stay a couple nights.

The street leading up to the hotel doesn't feel super safe if you go back late in the evening, with a group of bikers smoking weed in the corner. The room itself - no fresh air whatsoever. It was very hot in London when we were there and there was literally no air to breathe in the room. We left the window open for the night and we turned the fan on, it helped, but only a little. The room is really tiny, too, you can barely move about. I stayed there with my elderly parents, not the most comfortable place to be, but as I always say - it's not bad for Central London standards of affordable accomodation.

Its close proximity to Kings Cross station and Kings Cross St Pancras Underground. The bed was comfortable to sleep in. All the staff we saw were friendly, helpful and very pleasant to talk to. Reception was manned 24 hours a day. Everything was clean and tidy.

Very small and basic room for the price we paid (£200 a night) but I know its location is what drives the price up. Breakfast was very limited, only a basic continental style offered, and the coffee wasn’t to my taste, it was very bitter.

I just wanted a clean, cheap, secure room in London to attend a conference. The room was fine as had everything I needed, although bed a little soft. Location great - literally just a few mins from Kings Cross train station. Breakfast was great value and set me up for the day. Concierge / receptionist was great telling me tube lines/connections to get to conference!

Bed a little soft. If honest walking 4 flights of stairs not great, but for the location/price not that big a deal.

This is the best hotel in the area, and I have been coming here for years, for short stays in London. Obviously renovated, super clean, really pleasant. The location is tremendous, university area is walking distance, it's close to the underground, station, British Library, British museum... love it.

I have absolutely nothing to say, wholly enthusiastic.

Great place to stay in Central London. It has great easy access to food shops and London underground if you want to explore Central London. Will definitely book again for future London visits.

The place is not luggage friendly I must say, with the small space and stairs to go up, but it's manageable. Just want to advice future travellers about this.

Location - few minutes walk to Kings Cross station Friendly staff Fan in the room Comfy beds

Small - but I understand space is a premium in London - fine for an overnight stay as we were only in the room to sleep Plug socket fittings were a little loose No bath mat so bathroom floor was very slippy after a shower Kettle didn't fit under the tap so had to fill it up with a glass

The location is exceptionally good with wonderful places on the doorstep for easy the London Underground and buses. The reception is manned 24 hours, and I always received a friendly greeting and nothing I asked for was too much trouble. It is a lovely old building with lots of character. I highly recommend this sweet little hotel and Have it on my list to return to when I visit London.

Super friendly staff, very convenient and safe location. Basic but clean rooms, wardrobe has safe in it for valuables. I liked the fact there was a hairdryer in tne room too and shampoo/bodywash. The location is great for getting public transport into the city centre and out of London too but I couldn't recommend enough spending some time exploring the King's Cross area if you have time- walking along Regent's canal to Camden and then further into Westminster was one of the highlights of our trip.

The double bed was a bit on a narrow side so not the most comfortable to share with partner, I'd book a room with single beds next time. But otherwise everything perfectly adequate and great value for money.

Perfect location, 2 blocks from the Kings Cross station. The room is small but considering that it was the same price of a shared room in a hostel it was excellent. Also had private bathroom. Everything was clean and the staff was really nice. We also had the things to prepare coffee at our room for free.

For this price I do not think there is much to improve, we had a slight problem with the bathroom, but it was quickly solved by the staff, they also offered us to change the room. A little bit noisy since our room was on the ground floor with a window to the front, but after a few pints of beer you will not notice!
