The staff are friendly. As my luggage might be overloaded, the staff gives me a weight scale to solve my problem! Location is super good! It is just 5-10min walk from King's cross station. And it is very good in price! You cannot find any better option in London as it is really good deal. You can also store your luggage there for a while. One more thing is the have lift! So I do not have to climb the stairs with my suitcase, which is really nice and much better than the tube as the tube sometimes got so many stair for me to climb!

The room inside is too hot! The windows can only open a tiny gap. So, even it is cool outside, the cold air cannot enter the room and the building. Hope that the windows can be fully open so the ventilation will be better. The bathroom is tiny and just got 2 hooks for hanging inside, the more the better.

Lovely friendly hostel ideally located for Kings Cross train station. On the main road and next to a Co-op store which is very convenient. Staff are very nice and the room has individual lockers. It was extremely hot when I was there but we had a floor fan. The bed linens were crisp and fresh. Each bed has a dedicated light and charging socket with USB point. The breakfast was lovely with a big selection of foods. Cereals, yogurts, fruit, cheese, ham, breads, jams, fruit juices tea and coffee. Very nice refectory and a lounge and working space for internet. Connection was good. Seating area at the front looking into Gray's Inn road. I will definitely be back again.

Key cards don't work very well. Room 1 had only a tiny window in the glass skylight for ventilation. I have mixed feelings about paying £2 extra for a bottom bunk. Whilst I was extremely grateful to be able to request this, I don't think one should be charged more because you have a disability!

The online reviews are not like in real. The place is clean and tidy. Toilets are clean and dry. I believed it’s the guests who messed it up. On that note, cleaning of toilets should be more frequent. The hostel is at the heart of the train stations and buses to all attractions is just a few minutes walk. The beds are clean and the only kink is the space to manoeuvre when there are 3 or more pax. I chose the 4 beds which gave me a better sleep. There is a metal cage locker for your backpack but can’t fit carry on luggage. There is sufficient room for your carry on luggage on the side of the beds. There is a lift for those who has luggages. Since I stayed in November, the sweaty heat is not an issue and the whole place is kept warm when it’s zero degrees out. Showers are warm to hot. The eating area in the basement has plenty to choose for meals but you can have your own food bought outside and use their cutlery. All payments are digital. Highly recommended.

The water pressure is too low and the toilets should be clean more frequently due to the mess that guests made.

The pods were great

I would’ve liked a cooked breakfast (bacon, eggs, baked beans etc) but that’s probably a NZ thing

Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, a good selection of things to eat. The kitchen was useful and there were loads of fridges in which to store your food in. A good selection of food outlets and supermarkets close by. Most of the other guests were friendly and respectful some not so (Who turns the main lights on at 6:00am because they can't see?) Although there were issues my stay was better than the last time I stayed (In saying that I forgot to ask about my missing clothing from previous stay)

Guests leaving the toilets in a mess (How difficult is it to flush after yourself) Argumentative guests, had the same guest try to start arguments with at least three other people in the room. The basement flooded and all the toilets were unusable for the best part of the day but fixed only for the basement to flood again the next morning, quickly fixed later that day.

My shared dorm was comfortable and not too crowded, with spacious lockers, a sink in the room, and frequently cleaned showers/toilets just down the corridor. The staff were very friendly and hosted activities like the Sunday night “family dinner” which was a great way to meet other solo travellers. The location is perfect as it’s just down the road from King’s Cross

My only complaint was that the kitchen was supposed to be available for use 12:00-00:00 daily but the cleaner would stop people from cooking after about 23:15, so I wasn’t able to cook my food after getting back from a show (fortunately there are multiple fast food places just round the corner)

Location as per usual is perfect, team is always super kind and lovely - always there to help and advise. Not my 1st time here and deffo not my last - always love to come and stay, meeting new ppl etc

Rooms are not airy enough, the reception level rooms are super hot and there is no window to open, fan doesnt really help and that needs sorting ASAP esp when its the hottests of summers and getting hotter. upper floors have windows and fans which help alot :) Kitchen needs an oven and maybe a big fridge, laundry prices are bit too high for a hostel.

So conveniently close to the station and easy to find. There’s also an elevator which is super handy and saves you from dragging heavy luggage up the stairs. Though the real kudos for clink goes to the staff. The whole team are so helpful and friendly, providing such a welcoming and happy vibe to the building. The event coordinator pulled off a great family dinner, getting 20 people to come down and cook together. A whole group of strangers left this hostel as, well, still as strangers -but at least friendly ones. It was a great night, new recipe learnt & stories to share. 10/10 will stay here again.

Pod rooms / beds are amazing. gives a sense of privacy at the price of a dorm and quiet / no creaky beds. super friendly staff everytime i stay, always a smile & nice chat. i've started staying regularly when i have to be in London early the next morning and it's a fab location near Kings Cross.

The only fault is that the bathrooms are extremely small, with just 1 small sink per bathroom and not a lot of maneuver space when there are other guests in there. not great for teeth brushing / face washing / hair drying etc. I also find the pillows extremely flat... I always forget to ask for a second but I'm sure the staff would accomodate if I did!
