Lovely host and amazing location, peckham is so cool and close to overground. Came for a stay near my brother who lives near the area and would definitely return

My only feedback is the hot water situation. There was a full house and notices everywhere to use little water because the tanks were small and limit to 1 a day. I understand the reality of this situation but I felt stressed each shower and spent just 5 mins to make sure there was enough hot water for my friend :/

Peckham is Peckham, and has a much better vibe now than a few years ago. Had been concerned about big city noise, given the location - but neither of us had our sleep disturbed despite being there over Fri & Sat night.

The whole of London was baking hot, but opening the window made little difference unless one also opened the door to the room, allowing a breeze through. That doesn't really work while sleeping :-).

The room was small but nice and clean, and our host Helena was very helpful. Even though we were staying in someone's home with shared facilities, there was a lot of privacy.

For a light sleeper, the trains passing by and the noise from outside, especially during weekends, might be a challenge, although I was not disturbed by it. The wifi connection could have been stronger.

Helena served a delicious continental breakfast. The room was small but very pleasant. Helena Host Family is located in a quiet, cozy street with family houses. Walking distance from the main street in Peckham, the Peckham Levels (don't miss Natasha Taheem's mural of Rye Lane on the fifth floor!), Persepolis restaurant, the Peckhamplex cinema and Peckham Library. With good connections by bus and train into the city. I loved getting familiar with the immediate surroundings and my bus rides, with Helena Host Family quickly feeling like a home away from home.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was lovely and clean. Helena and her daughter were so helpful and gave lots of directions to things. Although we know the area quite well we discovered new places thanks to them.

If you don't like trains then this may not be the getaway for you as you can hear them most of the time. However after a while you do get used to them and the facilities make up for the noise. I would have liked to have had a bath but there was no plug, however, the shower was nice and warm so all good.

Really homely feel and great location, a short walk from bus and train station. Helena was really lovely and helpful and made us feel really welcome, and ensured our arrival went smoothly. Despite the shared bathrooms, we had no problem with availability and everything was clean. Peckham itself is a vibrant and interesting neighbourhood and a great place to stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Kind and helpful hostess. Clean and neat. Would love to stay there again. It might not be central but the neighbourhood is a cool hipster vibe with several neat cafés like Dovedales and Ron's. Busses and trains are only a couple of minutes away.

Nothing to dislike. It's a great stay.

Helena was very nice. The location was perfect for what I needed to do. The area is very dynamic. The house is confortable and clean. Helena was a very nice host. I will definitely come back.

Helena’s Host Family is exceptional! we had a wonderful stay. It’s easy walking distance to trains, restaurants and great cafes. The rooms were spotless and quiet. Can highly recommend !
