great location, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly and flexible staff - nice coffee in the room and lovely white company toiletries too

old, worn out, green carpet made it feel cheap and shabby which is a shame. If they invested in refurbing the rooms a little, it would really have the wow factor.

The location of the hotel is excellent- 10 minute walk to the Underground Station, very close to nice casual restaurants, and within the "square" of the hotel there is a good Mediterranean restaurant and a Sainsbury to pick up a few grocery items. The breakfast was great- full buffet selection of everything one might want to eat (no need to pay extra for the full English breakfast.) The room felt very clean. Enjoyed having the small refrigerator. Bathroom was fine.

The desk in our room took up way too much room in the room. It would be a much better room with just a small desk. There were no drawers for one's clothing so you had to go through your luggage every time you wanted to find something to wear. Some of the front desk people were very pleasant, but forgot my requests and others seemed very unhappy with their jobs and looked and acted bored or displeased with interacting with guests. Maybe their bosses should try to do more to improve their working conditions to allow them to less harried and happier with their jobs.

Very Helpful and friendly staff and room service Location is great...Close to King's college about 12 min walking (good for students and ppl visiting for exams) Close to a few halal restaurants and alot of nearby supermarkets/park Was sick during my stay having a pharmacy close by helped a ton Close to London bridge station Room was very good and had all essentials. Even an ironing board , shower was good, the desk was very convenient 👌 There's a weekly vintage market apparently-cool! Room felt safe ,not sound proof but still

The need to pay for a Damage deposit that I was not aware of before arriving, don't think the confirmation email mentioned it...the hotel does not accept cash so I had to use my card...it was refunded after but still would've been good to know Didn't enjoy the coffee , the breakfast was a bit underwhelming aside from the pasteries, I feel its a bit pricy for what I got but that's london for you Wished the rooms had safe boxes Kept putting towels on floor to have them replaced to find them put back on the rack, confused me a bit but perhaps it was not dirty enough to be replaced

Both lifts were NOT working for the duration of my stay. I have mobility problems so taking steps to 3rd floor was problematic. They offered ok second day after me complaining to switch me to second floor room but no point. Most importantly I saw a lady in a wheelchair being lifted up by 4 people to the second floor because of the loft being out of order. Then the next day she was carried out again, so degrading for a human. It scarred me. They said they had no parts, both lifts out however engineers there through my 4 day stay. Finally, breakfast wise only boiled eggs provided - no omelette or scrambled eggs which is what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. I had to pay which irritated me - given the lift problem they should have offered out of gratitude the least. Late check out is provided at request from 11am to 12 am free of charge. Requested an even later one at 2pm given the unfortunate issues and they did not agree to it. In the grand scheme of things as I said, it was not worth saving £100 for the 4 day stay and I should had stayed to CitizenM Southbank instead as every other since time I visited my son.

Lifts out of order 4 days

Staff so helpful, rooms comfortable, lovely trendy hotel. Well situated beside underground , buses etc. Lovely location in a lovely trendy area of London. Breakfast very good.

No fault of the lovely receptionist staff, who are so nice and helpful, the hotel policy is if you pay in Euros, the hotel set their own rate on that day, and may not reflect, the rate of the day, you expect, so advisable to pay in sterling on your card, and you own bank may give you a better rate on that particular day.

Lovely hotel with great staff. We upgraded our room a couple of days before to a balcony room (top floor), it was a great decision! Sat in the sun with drinks on the balcony! Room was nice and big with seating area inside and out. Nice big smart TV and huge bathroom with the THE best rain shower head ever! Great location, 10 mins walk to the Thames and loads of eateries around (try the Turkish place across the way, fantastic!!! Food amazing and had belly dancers! Price is very good as well). We had continental breakfast, which was amazing and plentiful, sets you up for the day!

Good size room with nice bathroom. Helpful staff. Located in a nice area close to plenty of bars, restaurants, and cafes, but still quiet.

Nice location, but not that close to any tube stops. 10-15mins walk.

Breakfasts were lovely. Liked our Coronation souvenirs. Thanks for those. Staff friendly. Cosy foyer. Close to London Bridge, Canary Wharf . Ten minutes walk from subway. Lovely park across the road.

2 nights staff did not make up the room, left wet towels on our luggage . Tv did not work, we asked staff to reconnect but did not stay on. Called desk for help but did not work. We walked so much that we did not worry about the TV too much as we went to bed early. Asked specifically for a black cab on last day and they called an unlicensed black ? Uber ? Car. We had wanted a ride in an official black cab during our stay. Was not happy but driver and staff over ruled my questions and complaint and shuffled us into the car. Most distressing.

Very spacious room and good layout, with good lighting, unlike quite a lot of newer hotels. The bathroom was also a great size, with good space for toiletries and a great shower and thought has obviously gone into the design as there was a hole in the glass door which allows you to turn on the shower without stepping into first and could also be used for hanging your towel. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

The choice at breakfast could be slightly better.
