I am giving the hotel the perfect 10 since I was in London many times and stayed in many hotels so I can compare the Hilton hotel to other hotels in the city. We booked the family room for me, my husband and my 2 daughters, the room was big and comfortable. We had a dining table big shower and plenty of place to put our stuff. The hotel is quite old so the decorations is traditional. I did not like it but that is ok.. this is not my house… the breakfast is great and you have everything you need. The cleaning team does a great work everyday (we stayed for 7 night) this is hotel to book again

Nothing to complain

Had all I needed for a longer stay. Ability to make a cuppa. Spacious. Comfortable chair to sit on. Large desk area. Good natural light, plus lighting, especially over the desk. Drapes easy on runners to open and close. Minimal noise heard from outside Bathroom simple but functional. Great shower Lovely pillows. Good TV. Lifts worked Fantastic breakfast selection. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Hotel has a big bar, lounge area Booked a taxi to get to Heathrow early. Someone from front desk rang to confirm at 8.30 the evening before, and cost would be £85. I found this rather expensive, but a bit late in the day to haggle over. The driver and car were excellent, but he did say he worked for a company that did private fares for hotels. I questioned it because the car did not have a taxi sign on it. The trip and time taken were great. The cost was much more than I was advised, by one of the desk staff, who said about £70. And I had been told about £40 by my tour director. But I got to the airport efficiently and in minimal time

Concierge on day one was unable to help with bus information , language seemed a barrier The clear shower screen is too narrow, and unnecessary water goes on the floor Mattress was too firm The cupboard the fridge sits in gets quite warm with the door shut. The fridge itself is cold. I kept the cupboard door open at times I passed the hotel on my first day in London, 4 August, felt it looked unclean from the outside, and not like the picture when i booked online, and i was doubting my stay to come. Fortunately, inside disproved what the outside looked like

Ali and David were excellent at reception. Check in and check out barely took a few minutes. The staff at breakfast were very kind and welcoming every morning. The AC wasn't really cooling well and we had 2 rough nights, David at the reception sent us 2 fans and even gave us complimentary dinner to make up for it.

Since we eat only halal, we were a bit worried about using the tongs near the hash browns as other people were mixing the tongs for sausages and bacon and other items. Maybe they could keep the vegetarian and non veg separate. Also although I paid for room + breakfast, there seemed to be a confusion about it and I was told that I will be charged again, so we skipped the last day and it turns out I was right.. It was fully paid for.

- The location. - The staff attitude. - The room size.

- I asked for a room with shower & not bath, because my wife can not bend her knees into a bath. I was given this. However, after 3 days they moved us out to another room with bath, claiming they needed to do some maintenance in our room. The hotel has "only one" room with shower. Other rooms with shower are equipped for spastics & not suitable for others. This was annoying and caused my wife lots of difficulties and myself lots of worries 😟 . - No shaving mirror or light in bathroom (photo).

All in all, the quality of the services was really high and all the hotel staff was really helpful, friendly and polite.

The breakfast is great, although it was exactly the same for 4 days straight. A little variety would be nice after 2 days, especiallly for the cooked breakfast. The family room was smaller than the pictures shown on the website, since the sofa bed was just next to the main bed, leaving very little space to move around it. Also, the room had a foul smell each time we walked in, we had to open the windows to get rid of it. We were not sure what caused it, it may have been the carpet but it did not bother us after a while. Also, a lot of channels on the TV were not functional, it would be better if they were exluded from the menu.

It was close to the Olympia Exhibition Centre for the Beer Festival. We asked for early check in & this was available when we arrived at 11a.m. The breakfast was fantastic.

We went to the bar for dinner, not realising there was a separate restaurant. We had to ask the staff for a food menu and no one returned to take our order so we left. The food menu was different to the one in the room and on the app. We ended up going back to the room and had room service instead. Choices in the room were not available and one main meal we ordered came as a side dish. The food did arrive quickly but wasn’t well presented & looked like it had just been put into a microwave.

From arriving at the desk the staff were lovely. We had been upgraded to a premium room, which was such A great surprise and so welcome after a long journey. The room was spotless! The bed a bit creaky, but not a problem. Tea,coffee etc in room, an iron and board, I hate going looking for an iron, so it being in the room was fab.!! The breakfast was just what we like, the choice of cooked breakfast or lots of Continental options. The restaurant staff were very attentive and kept tables clean and food stocked!!

Parking always a problem in London, so we wanted to drop bags off, we’re not sure if we could pull up outside or not allowed.

I had already checked in a hotel nearby, but 60 steps to get to my cramped, very hot, dark room! I put the fan on & went for a walk. (Only 19 degrees outside)! Came back & unbearably hot, actually thought I might die of a heart attack if I stayed! Found the Hilton online, cheaper too! The staff were lovely and I had a fantastic comfortable stay. Loved the air con & having a fridge for my water. The pillows were divine, bed comfy and a large flat screen tv! What's not to like. Can't understand why it's ratings are so low! Which is why i didn't book it initially, the hotel i originally booked had a 9 and this a 7! Just shows how wrong they can be!

The water pressure in the shower was a bit low. Not a problem unless washing your hair!

I was a reluctant to stay here as read some of the negative reviews but I was working at Olympia and needed to be close by. I honestly don't know why this hotel has had bad reviews! The staff are so lovely and really welcoming. I was checked in by Salina who was so helpful and even rang through to ask if my room could be made a priority for cleaning as I had arrived early. The room was lovely and spacious and I even had a view of the London skyline in the distance which was nice. Breakfast had a variety of choice and all really good quality. The bed was a little hard for my liking but that's just personal preference, but the room was exceptionally clean. The bar is also really good and I had the best Pina Colada I've ever had in my life!! Try one, you can thank me later!

The location is well serviced for all transportation links. Staff were very polite and happy to assist. Breakfast was exceptional. The room was clean, and our family room had adequate room for a family of 4. Both beds were very comfortable. Shower pressure and temperature were consistent throughout our stay. There is also a lovely deli nearby if you don't want to eat at the hotel. The hotel provided us with plates so we could purchase our own takeaway food.

Street outside was quite noisy, but that's not the fault of the hotel. Couldn't figure out the air conditioning, so we had to open the windows, which in turn meant we had to listen to the noise of the traffic and regular emergency vehicle sirens. Essentially, this only troubled us in the evening as we were out all day.
