Spacious room. Really good breakfast selection

On the early morning of arrival day, 25/07/2023. We asked if we could leave our luggage so we can explore the city right away. He begrudgingly called the bellhop and instructed him to “throw” our luggage in the luggage room. Not the kind of welcome you would expect after paying more then a thousand pounds for the room and having travelled all night. I just didn’t have the energy at all to deal with this kind of attitude from staff on my vacation. Management if it helps, it was a south Asian guy on the reception desk at around 7:00 the said date. He might want to adjust his attitude towards guests. Not the kind of standards for a Marriott. All other staff we encountered were very accommodating.

Nice apartment. Floor was "tacky,sticky" laminate in the bedroom. It had been mopped but residue was left on your socks. It just didn't look or feel clean. No soap in the toilet washbasin, had to use body wash. . I asked for soap and slippers, there were brought 3 hrs after request! Bedding spotless and fresh. Showers grouting a bit mildew and needs a bit of renovation. But an OK average stay.

the breakfast was great the assortment meant you won’t get tired of the food if staying several days. the laundry facilities is very convenient and free so good long vacations

not much choice for dining places but this was easily addressed by the big Teaco right beside the hotel so you. an easily grab cooked food to consume in the hotel room

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were as expected from the pictures. The breakfast had good variety. The area is good since it’s in Kensington.

The elevators didn’t work properly and there were only 2 elevators for the whole hotel which is not enough especially in peak hours where we had to use the stairs. We asked for slippers from day one however we didn’t get any they said they are waiting for the slippers delivery we stayed in the hotels for 8 nights and still the slippers delivery didn’t arrive.

great hotel, ideal location for our needs. Smart room with all the facilities you might want. clean and tidy, and a good breakfast selection.

our shower needed some attention but only minor. The breakfast selection was good but the breakfast room was poorly laid out. Nothing was in a logical place so it took ages to find things needed. For example, the cereal spoons were with the cooked breakfast not the cereals. The butter was with the cereal, not with the bread/toast, the milk wasn't kept near the hot drinks. There were therefore lots of people wandering around looking for things, clogging up the area and causing queues. with a little bit of planning this could easily be improved.

Spacious room for the 3 of us, having a kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, fridge and crockery was an added benefit. Housekeeping was prompt. Having the Tesco Supermarket next door was a huge benefit.

only 2 lifts in peak season is a challenge

location. layout of room 816. elevator needs room key to operate. incredible breakfast. politeness of front desk. price of room. Daniel pleasant and helpful bartender. free laundry facility very welcome. fabulous kettle for tea.

our door was open, resting on dead bolt when we arrived, TV was on, making it seem someone was in there. tried to call front desk to inquire, phone dead. mentioned these things at reception and it was a surprise. phone number did work, which is safety hazard. we are 2 seniors. room needs salt and pepper, and not having paper towels means we use white towels to clean. bar needs a few “snacks” for drinks, which can be purchased. hall carpets maybe vacuumed more often.

Hotel was very clean and well kept. very friendly staff. location was not too far from station. Tesco’s 2 mins away..

the mini market was really bad only nuts or crisps.. unfortunately we arrived on Easter Sunday and Tesco’s was closed. the price was high too. we bought a bottle of wine my glass was full and the Bar man shouted at me from across the bar to where my seat was ( near toilet) that I couldn’t leave with glass as there is glasses in the room. so I suggested to put the wine back into the bottle. the main bar man thankfully said to him no it okay. people in bar laughing at me, I reported to reception and they said they did not understand why he shouted that to me.. we did not return to the bar for the reminder of our trip. No apology..

Size of the room the hotel is near by HyberMarket clean of the room Kitchen was good also full of equipment the breckfast was good also Bus station is 3 Mins walking and metro station 10 mins walking

The Lift is not enoght for the hotel only 2 !! The Toilet have little bad smell , the exust fan is not working littel far from the Central if you like the Oxford Area , need 25 min by Metro or BUS 35 min

I liked the location that was very close to the 3 museums that we had interets in, no need for taking the bus. There was an Italian restaurant really close served superb meals. We liked the possibility to celebrate special occasions eg. birthdays with cakes. The breakfast was delicious and it could varied; there was laundry in the basement for free.

We were travelling with our kid, stayed in the same apartment and her bed was not prepared upon arrival, but later they came immediately and arranged it. In the apartment there were only 2 chairs to sit at the table. We had a view on the nearby Tesco's courtyard.
