Very good location at the subway station. Friendly stafff. Rich breakfast, beaked beens, eggs, baked bacon, sausages, vegy sausages, fruits, sereals, muffins, croassans, and much more...... Good bed, we slept good.

It's hard to think of anything that coul be better. Maybe thay could add some fresh vegetables at the breakfast, but otherwise there is plenty of choice....

Great service from friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Great location with Algate East metro almost next door. Hate cumberland sausage, had breakfast out of hotel. Due to great location, we had lots of choice, highly recommended "Jack the Chipper". We've had breakfast on previous stays and apart from sausages it was great. The shower rooms are pods and are spacious with a brilliant shower. Even with the pod, the room still felt spacious. Had a great stay, will be back.

Stayed before and they had a drinks chiller. Self service at reasonable price. You could help yourself by getting a bar code from reception. This was empty. If they are getting rid of it, please put something in its place. Empty chillers gave hotel an unfinished feel and doesn't do such a great hotel justice.

Hotel is located near a metro station so it's easy to travel. The rooms were clean and beds comfy. You could hear your neighbours flushing their toilet or walking past but traffic sounds were mute. Complimentary shampoo & soap. Breakfast not included and didn't try it. Tesco in the same building. Good budget place for someone not spending a lot of time in the hotel or whom needs no service from the staff.

There were practically no service at all. Check-in asked our name, gave us the room key and said the room number aloud. That was bit weird. Also our room locks were changed mid stay and nobody informed us! Just suddenly our room keys didn't work (elevators did so it was "nice" to run up and down).

Great location within easy distance to the Tube station Algate East. Also located jjust a few mins walk from lots of bars and restaurants and Spitafields market and Shoreditch High Street is 10 mins walk away. So location is spot on. I am giving this a 8/10 . It looses 2 points due to I thought the cost of the room was quite high. Our room was very dark and didn't get much daylight. The comfort of the bed was just ok. The pillows were very hard and I woke with ear ache on both nights. But the room and bathroom was very clean and there was a hairdryer, a full length mirror, plenty of clothes hanging space, which I was really happy with. The staff were really lovely to deal with on check in and check out, and we were able to store our luggage on our last day. I would stay here again, but I would ask for a brighter room, and softer pillows.

The fact that I had booked thro Ibis for Friday the 2/01/2024 but when arriving at hotel was told my booking been cancelled,I was quoted £112.00 for that night which I assumed was paid as the lady I spoke with took my card details,but apparently that wasn’t the case,I had to then pay £120.00 which I wasn’t particularly happy about. I had previously booked via booking.com for the Saturday night 3/01/2024 and the lady I booked the Friday night with said she would contact the hotel to make sure I could keep the same room for both nights.

The location was brilliant, no more than 50 yards from Alcatel East tube station. Petticoat Lane market is to the left of the hotel. There are other markets close by, great for looking for a bargain. The hotel has a relaxed feel and would be perfect for families, groups and couples. Breakfast has a great variety of cooked and continental choices. The room was spotlessly clean and there are 3 lifts to the 10 floors. Loved the shower, (no bath). Staff are friendly, helpful and although professional, keep the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. This is our 3rd Ibis Hotel and all apear to relish the relaxed ambiance. There is no loud music or parties disturbing the calm. Great place to chill after a night out in town.

The staff were very helpful. The room was quite nice. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good--plenty of hot and cold choices. The shower was wonderful!

I found the step up to the bathroom a little daunting and was afraid of falling each time. Inside too, the shower stall did not drain as well as it out for its design. I was told at checkout that there are in fact rooms that do not have that step and that are more accessible. You should ask specifically when you book, I think I did ask about shower cubicles and it would have been good if their otherwise helpful staff had pointed this out and asked if I would like one of those rooms. I would also avoid eating dinner at the hotel. The pizza at the 'bistro' must rank among the worst I have ever eaten. It would have been good to have some convenient laundry arrangement too.

room was good; lots of room for my bags and to move about. Good full length mirror too and hanging space. Location was handy as it was round the corner from a tube station and close to some of londons walking tour points. Close also to a main station for airport train express access.

My stay was pretty much all positive. Didn't have any negatives apart from wanting more tea bags as i only had 2 but 6 coffees. When i asked the cleaning staff for more they didn't understand me so that was my only issue. But could probably have been rectified if i went to the front desk.

I really liked the "easiness" of operations: a smooth check-in and a very smooth check-out. The room was big enough for two people. The bathroom, like other guests reported, was some kind of small and "claustrophobic", due to no vents or windows. The location is fantastic, just around the corner you find the Aldgate East tube station and in a 15 min time, you reach the Tower of London and Tower Bridge.

I have nothing negative to report.

Very nice location and a great value for the price. The size of the room for being in central London was quite large. Great access to multiple Tube stations and convenience stores/restaurants near the hotel. It was as to be expected.

The bathroom floor was extremely slippery when taking a shower-to the point where each of our party of three fell/slid at least once, which was very dangerous. The beds were not super comfy and the pillows were worse.
