I recently had the pleasure of staying at Buckle Street Studios by Locke and must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment I entered the hotel, I was captivated by its unique design and attention to detail. The bed in my room deserves a special mention – it was unbelievably comfortable. I found myself reluctant to leave in the morning morning, and I even stayed until the very last minute. The hotel's commitment to providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere truly stood out. One of the aspects I appreciated the most was the incorporation of art into everyday items, such as the beautifully crafted cups by local artists. It added a touch of charm and authenticity to the overall ambiance. Another noteworthy detail was the hotel's support for refugees by offering tea made by them. This thoughtful gesture not only made the stay more meaningful but also contributed to a sense of global awareness. The location of the hotel was perfect, making it easy for me to explore the surrounding area. During my stay, I had the pleasure of interacting with the receptionist, Simona. Her friendly and helpful demeanor added a personal touch to my experience. We had a delightful chat, and to top it off, she graciously offered me coffee from the nearby coffee place, further enhancing the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. I want to express my gratitude to Simona for going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Her kindness and attentiveness truly made my day better. Overall, my time at this hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a delightful and memorable stay.

I arrived after midnight and night time receptionists were a bit less professional than day time receptionists (Simona was great!).

Bed was super comfy and hotel is located in a really good location. I did not run into any troubles

Staff was excellent!!! Interacted with 3 of them and they were all so helpful, attentive and friendly. Place was super cute and cozy and clean. Good restaurants and pubs very close too.

The apartment was incredibly small and tight. Banged my elbow on the wall probably 5 times. Wife did too. When i say small and tight, i mean it. Luggage didn't have anywhere to go, just blocking either front door or bathroom, your choice. Had to move it and/or trip over it a lot. All in all a cute place tho. Just be warned that it is very tight moving around.

Pretty cool place next to the metro station. Nice and safe walkies to surrounding areas. The corner room was spacious and clean. Everyone smiley and helpful. Hot Pot place next to the hotel was really cool, so we changed our plans and went there, too.

There was one pillar next to bed which tried to kill us or at break our toe or hip :D There also was a buggy fire alarm which went off around 7 am. Fun. All they need to do is to turn the bed by 90 degrees and we are gucci. WiFi password wasn't on the TV as promised, but we were outside all the time, so we didn't bother.

We really enjoyed our stay in our little studio. It was clean and comfortable with great facilities - strong shower, great heating, big fridge, etc. the location is absolutely perfect - the area itself has lots of options for eating out, and you are only a short walk away from fab shopping areas like the Spitalfields Market or Brick Lane. Right beside the underground station so getting to all major attractions was easy! Would stay again.

The layout of the studio is not ideal. The hall space between sleeping area and kitchen & toilet is very narrow. To get into the bed you have to climb , and if you want to use the couch , you have to climb over the bed. None of this was a major problem for two young and able-bodied people, but may be difficult for others. The lighting in front of the mirrors was very frustrating - the fixtures stick out from the mirror so if you are leaning in trying to do make-up/floss/shave etc you are in shadow. A small thing, but a very strange choice!

The Buckle Street studios are the perfect accommodation to spend a few days in the city: near the city centre, but far from its crowded and noisy streets. We were gladly surprised by the quiet environment. In addition, in the neighbourhood, you can find a tube station which takes you downtown in less than 20 minutes, a few supermarkets and restaurants, and it's close to one of the most remarkable landmarks of the city (Tower Bridge/Tower of London). Speaking of the studio itself, it has all the necessary amenities, beds are really comfortable, and the studio is cozy.

The check-in process was a bit weird because the worker who performed it was not much into making themselves understood, and it was not due to an issue of our understanding of the language. However, the other colleagues were really kind and efficient when solving an issue we had with the shower drain (especially Simona, who addressed this issue).

First of all, all the receptionists were amazing, very nice and helpful, very good hiring policy :) The studio was small but cosy and there was everything we needed for our stay. It was all very new, modern and very good quality. The best of all was the location, 15 minutes from Tower Bridge, very close to city center and also to subway. We enjoyed our stay very much!

The only minor thing what was for us a bit unusual was that the window cannot be opened - there was only heat/air condition, which could be set as you like, but we were a bit missing fresh air from outside. But this was really just a small bug, everything else was great and I understand that the new modern buildings are built this way now. The view from window was nice and also it was soundproof, almost no noise from outside.

Wonderful stay in a very central location, besides Aldgate East. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms are small(-ish) but that's too be expected from a stay in London :-). The room was very clean, brand new, and had all the necessary facilities. Bathroom was also quite big! Further, the studio also has a gym and great coffee shop located right next to it. To conclude, I would highly recommend this stay!

I didn't mind sharing the room with my co-worker, but do take in mind that if you're not comfortable sharing one bed/small spaces, the room might not be as suitable for you. Besides that, no other notes!

I really loved the view, the style, and the facilities. I will surely come back here for my future work trips as it's very easy to do laundry or to work from their dedicated work space. The location is also perfect as it's super well connected but also not too noisy as the very city centre can be.

I was expecting the room to be bigger, to be honest. I'm not sure I'd book the small studio again. Even for 1 traveller can be a bit tight, as there's no dining area for example (there are 2 small sofa tables, but it's quite uncomfortable). The toilet is also split (the toilet bowl is in its own mini room), which has its pros and cons.

Beatrice checked us in, even though we were a few hours late for check in, the 24 hour reception made it so easy and it went by smoothly. She was so kind and nice and gave us all the information we needed regarding our stay. The place has a lot of facilities like the gym and the laundry room. We made full use of the washer and dryer and also the iron, but it took a long time for the dryer to fully dry our clothes. Maybe we picked out the wrong setting, but overall it was such a lovely and cosy place to stay at even if we wanted to stay in for the night. Neha checked us out and even let us put our things at the reception for a few hours so we could go have lunch bag-free. It was such a delightful experience and I would recommend my family and friends to stay here if they’re ever visiting Central London!

It was a tight squeeze to get into the bed as there was little walk space, but theres nothing bad to say about the place. Bed was extra comfy and we could ask for clean towels anytime.
