Good location. Big apartment. Helpful staff. Spacious for big family. Lot of amenities. There is also a Tesco express store at the bottom of the building. Good parking place within the building.

There were small flies in the kitchen, which was a bit annoying as it affects cooking and eating. They should have been got rid of before guest arrival by the cleaning crew. There was also the issue of too much water pressure in the onsuite bathroom, as the water was not mixing well from the tap and it was also splashing out of the basin. The lighting in the rooms was a tad bit too dark for my liking, would love to have more bright lights. There was also a leaky iron, which dripped water everywhere

Spacious apartment ,quite well equipped ( but we didn’t cook!) excellent wifi. Quiet location but convenient for transport. Tesco Express next door and there were alot of pubs and restaurants in the vicinity. Would come back

The staff on the front desk were obviously in training- understand this needs to be done but when we checked out the staff member supervising was distracted by lots of different requests- we had to pay cash in the end and hope it was processed OK! We couldn’t hang around any longer…. There is nowhere to store luggage- can pay for early checkin or late checkout- but it may not be available.

24hr desk security. Apartment was spacious and very clean. Bed was comfortable and slept well. Cosy and well lit. Walking distance (5mins) to borough tube station and borough market which is famous for its food. There is also a tesco just below the apartment which is very convenient for getting groceries/snacks. Recommended for families or group of friends travelling. Would definitely come back here! Front desk staff were friendly too!

Microwave was initially working well but it broke down the last few days of our stay but unable to get the repairmen as it was during the Christmas period. It was a small issue because overall we had a wonderful stay.

The property is ready to take cash. It doesn't create a fuss on check out time either

The elevator is very slow and too many people are waiting for it all the time

The apartment is in a great location with good connections to other parts of London. It's also possible to walk to the Millenium bridge and Tate Modern. It's great to have a kitchen and living area to hang out in and prepare food. We have young kids so going to a restaurant in the evening isn't always easy. Washing up liquid, sponges, tea towels and a few dishwasher tablets are provided. The towels and toilettries provided are like you'd find in a hotel (L'Occitane toilettries). Overall, I find the Marlin apartments great value for money and they make staying in central London with kids very easy.

There were signs of wear and tear - stove top was badly marked and the bathtub had been repaired in multiple places - the sofa also had a stain on the arm.

All was as described and the fact we had an apartment facing the back street made sure it was quiet, though we were on a lower floor (2nd).

But having the apartment at the very end on the extremely long corridor we did use the service elevator and service entrance more often than not, But that also meant that if we needed any access to the Front desk we needed to walk around the outside of the building or use the main elevators which were at the other end of that very long corridor. Also though cleanliness in the apartment was pretty faultless, the corridors weren't kept to that standard. We often saw little bits of waste paper and other scraps on the carpet,

Very comfortable apartment in a great location! The apartment was clean, comfortable, equipped with everything needed (hairdryer, iron, fully equipped kitchen, towels and very good internet). Very comfortable mattress in the bedroom. Nice view from the windows. The location is fantastic - 3 minutes walk to Borough tube station and about 7-10 minutes to London Bridge tube station. Safe neighborhood, plenty of typical English pubs with live music nearby. Tesco supermarket right next door. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Truly a place worth recommending!

there is no such thing

Our apartment was perfect. There is everything you need for a great stay, a few packets of sugar, tea, instant coffee, fairy liquid, sponge etc. There was a dishwasher with a few detergent tabs and a washingmachine/dryer in the utility room. There is believe it or not a REAL hairdryer and not one of those typical hotel low watt ones! A full size ironing board and iron are also in the utility room. Wifi terrific! The beds were comfortable and the double glazed windows kept out all the sound coming from the street below despite a jackhammer breaking concrete right across the street. The position is a few short minutes away from the Borough tube station and we felt safe walking around the area even later at night as the Empire Square location it is quite residential. Also, there is a Tesco metro next door that is open 7am-11pm in case you need anything.

The only thing I would have liked because we had a longer stay would have been a broom and dust pan but aside from that it was great.

The room was clean with a convenient fully equipped kitchen. No noise in the evening. The room was ok to sleep for two adults and 2.5 and 12 years old kids. TV supports Cromecast so convenient to stream kids content. Room was cleaned once after 7th day stay. We also used washing machine and ironing for clothes.

We used kitchen a lot for early breakfasts and late lunches. While kitchen is fully equipped the utensils and kitchenware were not so clean on arrival, partially with stains and leftovers. Seems like they are passing only dishwasher between guest stays.
