This location was my home for a week of London sightseeing. Great price for London. First, staff were friendly and helpful. Dimitri and Stephanie: shout out to you; our chats were a homecoming -- comforting for a solo traveler. Second, location was great: 2 tube stops connected to 3 different lines. Easy to access London attractions. When it comes to planning your trip, consider the price of extra travel and *time*. I was able to get to and from central London in about 20 minutes. May depend on your chosen places to go. The location was a few buildings in on a side street, so there wasn't city noise. There were restaurants, a grocery store, and a fresh vegetable/convenience store nearby. Tandis, a Persian place very near the hotel, took care of my Monday-10-pm dinner on my first night. There were also salons, a little charity shop/thrift store, and Clothes Clinic did my laundry same-day. Room had coordinated decor (looked as advertised); simple black and while prints on the walls. It was small, with 2 small twin beds (smaller than a typical American twin, I believe), a chair, a narrow desk/bureau/counter combination, and a little space between the far bed and the window (so you could do push-ups, or put suitcases). For 1 person it was perfect. 2 would work, but you'd have to plan the space. Bed was comfortable. As an American, I was surprised there wasn't a top sheet, but that seems to be a common thing? The duvet was warm enough and comfortable. Windows let in sun and air. Towels were updated daily. The lobby was off to the side of the front desk, with couches, tables, and chairs -- and a little bar. I was never at the hotel when anyone was getting drinks, but it seemed well stocked, and there were crisps for purchase. They got me ice from it one night. With the exception of people in the hallway, it was quiet-ish, but I was lucky to get an end room, so I shared a wall with only one other room. Breakfast was plentiful and vy...

Could have been cleaner. To management: wash or replace the covers to the decorative pillows more often. They had visible...stuff on them. The bathroom didn't have an extractor fan, but the light above the sink seemed to be a heat lamp, so I'd leave it on with the door open and the shower would dry out. Lobby furniture was worn. Remember: small room. Closet was adequate. The 2 drawers at the desk/counter thing were pretty small, and one had the hair dryer in it, so the closet and your baggage are your storage. Noise comes via the door. Anyone having a conversation in the hall or slamming a door -- very audible, but wasn't so bad that I lost any sleep.

The room was very clean and the beds really comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and a very good variety of hot and cold food. The hot food could have been hotter though, but that's not to say it wasn't nice. My friends and I all agreed that we would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to friends and family.

First impressions of the outside of the hotel was not good. It looks like a dated 1980's block of flats. Thankfully, the inside looks as though it's undergoing a refurbishment, as our bedroom, the breakfast room and lift all look fairly new.

Excellent location – near to shops, buses and Finchley Road underground – and a small, free, car park. Our first floor bedroom and bathroom were both very clean, with good lighting and mirrors in both. The bedroom was larger than many in London at this price and was quiet and comfortable with 2 chairs, adequate hanging, drawer and shelf space for a short stay. A kettle and hairdryer were provided and the TV had a full range of UK Freeview channels. There were plenty of free power points. The bathroom was a reasonable size, hot water was almost instant and unlimited, there was soap and shower gel, and tissues, and the bath sheets were large and absorbent and light. The overhead shower was good. There was also a hand held shower head. The breakfast buffet offered both continental (basic cereals, breads, croissants, jams, meat, cheese, natural and fruit yogurt and tinned fruit) and cooked (various eggs, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes etc). Staff ask if you want toast when you arrive. WiFi seemed Ok but we didn’t use it much.

The very small glass shower screen meant the floor was very wet after showering. The toilet flush struggled to cope at times. Breakfast drinks and hot water came from a self-service machine but, disappointingly, the hotel could not provide slices of lemon for my tea despite having a bar, nor do they have decaffeinated ground coffee, only instant sachets. The Orange Juice tasted quite odd, possibly it was mixed or confused with pineapple.

location is fantastic and staff all so warm and friendly. They make such an effort to make a great breakfast downstairs to start our day on a good latte and full English breakfast. there are quite a few tasty home-cooking style Chinese restaurants right across the street on Finchley road and a nice Japanese Toro place next to them. So travelers are never to worry about dinners. Sheets are clean and they clean the room every day. A small basic looking hotel but they offer everything you need.

well, the walls are a bit thin so you hear noise a lot. but then it is offered as a 3-star hotel not a 5-star. I don’t have a problem with that.

Mrs Weijer was my guest and I paid the bill, but I did not see the inside of the hotel, so I have answered the questions only by what my friend told me. I did find itt rather expensive but i was pleased you let her have her room when she arrived at 9 am form the airport aod that she could freshen up in her bathroom and leave her hand luggage.

Taxi from the hotel to visit me in Bishops Avenue was expensive as the taxi man kept losing his way.

The room was all we needed it to be, clean, comfortable and with a fan as it was a hot week. We chose the hotel partly for it’s location and we could easily get to where we needed to be. Plenty of hot and cold choices at the breakfast buffet which were tasty. The staff were friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble.

As it was a particularly hot week, a small fridge in the room would have been welcome but this in no way spoilt our stay.

We were working in the area and so this was why we chose the hotel. We stayed four nights. The location is great with tube stops close by. It's on a quiet street just off a main road so quiet for a London hotel. The is a cinema and shops in walking distance and a range of restaurants. The hotel doesn't provide meals at night but does do a good breakfast. The hotel is very clean. The rooms and beds are comfortable. The breakfast staff were welcoming and friendly. All were attentive A special mention for Dimitri on reception, who had a friendly manner and endless patience and skills. He is a real asset to the hotel. He was keen to make sure guests had a good stay and we witnessed him on a number of occasions step outside of his role to help customers.

Can't think of anything. We would use this hotel again.

Lovely hotel, situated within a minute of the tube and rail stations and a 10 minute tube to the centre of London. Very attentive staff who cannot help enough. My partner and I, are both keen runners. On the Saturday morning we got up showered and ran to Hampstead heath parkrun. We came back found our room cleaned we showered and had breakfast and found they have given us clean towel's again after breakfast. I have never had room service twice in one day... fabulous!

I cannot really fault the hotel. the area it is in isn't quite the best, its typical for outer London...

No major complaints, hotel was a lot better than the exterior would have you believe, parking was fine, breakfast was pretty much perfect, good quality fried breakfast and self service so you can eat as much as you want. Tube and over ground both a short walk. Rooms were clean and presentable.

No TV working in the room, would have been nice to have it for the news, etc. Did report it, but nothing done. Room a bit tired. Room also was very warm without the heating on and this is April

The location was perfect for us, close to the station and the venue for the show we had come to see. Our room was quiet, clean and well furnished and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was surprisingly good with a wide range of quality hot and cold foods. All the staff we met were helpful and friendly.

Lighting could have been less bright in the bathroom and the bedside lamps.
