The staff was very good. Laura and Andrea were exceptional ! The location was good. The room and bed very comfortable.

We stayed 3 nights total. Our first night, I slipped in the very deep bath tub and hit the back of my leg. I got a very bad huge lump and bruise on the back of my leg. I went to front desk to change rooms and Andrea helped me and she was amazing ! We got into our new room # 161, and all was fine , until 4:00 AM, when there was water coming down in the hall by bathroom. We called front desk and reported it, they asked if we wanted to move rooms again, I said no, because we were getting up in a few hours anyway. They said , after all this they'd give me a discount, which I never saw ?

The location of the hotel was perfect and room was very nice. Breakfast was not included which I think should be in the price as a matter of course. The lady in the suit at breakfast was a little unfriendly and didn't smile and I felt a little dismissed when I asked her a question about breakfast.

I had enquired about afternoon tea on the 7th July but was told there was no availability. I was then sent an email to say I had a reservation and presumed it was for afternoon tea but when we turned up I was told no afternoon tea Mon-Wed which I was not informed about. I was disappointed as I was down for a special occasion. Just a lack of communication on your part.

The breakfast, both the food and the location was superb. The Rooms were very clean and maintained to a high standard, with all the facilities in the room you could wish for.

The Hotel reception struggled to find one of our rooms. Seemed to be a problem between Booking.com and the Hotel systems. We had confirmed two rooms in the same reservation. The room with just one name on the booking was "booked" with no issue, but my wife and I's details were concatenated meaning on search they could find our room. I can't believe it is a one off, but delayed us checking in for 5 minutes (although felt longer)

We did not have time for breakfast as we checked out at around 5:50 to catch the Eurostar. The staff at the hotel were exceptional and went beyond the call of duty, particularly the Night Manager, whose name I believe is Dalmar (?) who heloed us with our luggage and guided us to the Eurostar. We would return to stay on the strength of his professional, amazing attitude. On our arrival we had been assisted by Gordon and Guillame who had welcomed us and by another staff member, a female whose name we missed = she had walked us through the approach to the railway station. All wonderful ambassadors for your company.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

We booked the hotel purely for its location (perfect for late Eurostar trips), but we were surprised by how spacious and luxurious it is inside. It has seven floors plus a basement spa, and a large restaurant and lounge areas. The room was large and well-furnished with comfortable beds and a standard en-suite, plus generously sized seating and desk areas. Bathrobes are provided, along with a hair-dryer, ironing board and the usual facilities. There's a good selection of toiletries in the bathroom and coffee in the tray (with creamer, milk, sugar, etc.) below a pod coffee machine in the room. The self-service breakfast buffet has a good range of hot and cold options and the staff bring coffee to your table, which I appreciated. You have the option (for about £5) to have breakfast in your room. Checkout is at midday, which is convenient. The spa downstairs has a small moderately warm pool about 1.4 metres deep with three jacuzzi areas within the pool itself and plush chairs nearby for relaxing (there was someone asleep in one); you can also pay for spa treatments. The staff are very friendly and attentive.

There was talk of slippers but I didn't see any (a very minor thought - there's not much to dislike). When we arrived, the receptionist made a £100 charge to my credit card which I think was just testing the card works or some kind of damage deposit - I'm pretty sure I didn't get charged extra but I was unpleasantly surprised by it. The drinks in the coffee maker tray could have included hot chocolate. There didn't appear to be individual changing rooms in the spa (I saw someone awkwardly trying to change behind a towel; I changed in the toilet).

Everything! I had come to recuperate after a small operation and the staff could not have been kinder. The chambers club room is amazing and a wonderful facility during the day for me to sit quietly with a pot of tea. The decor and the atmosphere and the meticulous work you have done in keeping the hotel looking so good is exceptional. Many years ago with my first job in London, I commuted into Saint Pancras station, and used the actual booking office to buy tickets. About a decade ago when I was undertaking studies at the University of London we were shown around by the Architectural Association to view the renovation work in progress. It is absolutely magnificent how it has been brought up to such exceptional standards. All your staff have been exceptionally well trained; they are polite, efficient, smartly attired and friendly. The usual Hotels I stay in London have previously been Hazlitts, or the Ritz. Now in 2023 it will definitely be with you!

You can’t change the views and we did ask for a quiet room not overlooking the station, therefore we overlooked the side of the British library. I can’t understand why so many cars sound their horns at night around this area! But the room itself was extremely comfortable and of course as I said the Chambers club room is fantastic so very little time was looking out the window, except to gauge the weather.

Good location, comfortable bed, clean room. Good hot water, towels. Free drinking water. Minibar.

For the price we expected a bit more luxury and Old World charm, given the location. We were in a new wing in a fairly ordinary hotel room that should be quite a bit cheaper. We did not use the bathrobes but there was only one in the room. Would like to have a washcloth or two. Menu in the Booking Office resto was very limited and servings were beautifully served but small.

The building itself, the public rooms and decor were truly astonishing. Reception staff were incredibly helpful and efficient Early checkin at 1pm Breakfast was good but why was there no semi-skinned milk available for cereal and tea while almond, soya, oat and wholemilk was. Comfortable bed

The bedrooms in the new part of the hotel were a little stark with a very small window overlooking the station roof. The drinks tray was not complete on arrival in the room - had to ask for more coffee, tea and milk. Service in the magnificent Booking hall was a little hit and miss. It was evident that there was a staff shortage and some younger staff needed more training. The background music in the Booking Hall in the late evening was far too loud for comfort when having a nightcap.

Staff were brilliant always smiling and there to help. I had a lovely massage as well, Really nice. Hotel's location meant that we could get around London easily either with underground or bus or taxi.

The bathroom. The bathroom is good size but the shower is terribly designed with no doo at the from meaning water splashes on to the floor. The shower head kept moving to right side even if you wanted it in the middle. Also the hotel has lovely large towels but no where to hang them both is you want to reuse them. The sink is a poor style that takes very little water and plashed all over the place as it is too narrow. Would have preferred a bath so I would have a bubble bath and lovely relaxing soak!
