In general, this is an excellent hotel with good rooms and breakfast (for those who do not need it, there is the possibility of booking a room without breakfast included) and very helpful and friendly staff. Of the small wishes, in addition to working on the shortcomings, I would like a small restoration of the rooms. Specifically, in my (room 24) in some places there were small holes and cracks, they were almost invisible and did not immediately catch my eye, but still I would like them not to be

slow internet, no mini bar and a hair dryer in the room (a second one can be requested, I guess)

The staff work every hard at giving you the best experience during you stay. They are all lovely people. My daughter and I had a great time there. Your flight got in early and I was worried we would here a long wait to check in but it was not a problem we were lucky a room was available for early check in. The location was great for getting black cabs as you can spot them coming in three directions.

This is no reflection on the hotel please remember that. The lift. While I was great full the hotel had one as I can not do stairs very well one does not think of a lift being tiny. 3'x3'. Granted I am an American. We are an overweight country myself included. Again not the hotel fault. The lift functioned perfectly. I just found it tiny.

Staff were exceptionally helpful. Hotel readily provides fresh milk for use with Nespresso coffee maker in room; milk comes in a small vacuum bottle so stays fresh for a little while. Also provides bottled water on request as tap water is softened (processed) so inadvisable to drink. No charge for milk or water, both brought to room quickly. Noise insulation very good - that's important in central London. Very comfortable bed. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, also shops selling sandwiches and snacks, e.g M+S, Waitrose etc.

Elevator is a bit basic and very compact; large people would have to use it one at a time. Shower room a little cramped. Quite expensive, as most places in central London

Everything wonderful. Historic & charming house in delightful Kensington & Chelsea area. Charming hosts. Warm and inclusive and beautifully decorated. Stylish and Calming. Room was quiet, comfortable with lovely comfy bed and fresh white linen of high quality and soft pillows. Everything about this Hotel is gorgeous and well run and so full of charm and comfort. We loved every minute and can't wait to tell all our family and friends about this gem. The price was very reasonable for two. The breakfast was delicious. I had scrambled eggs and smoked salmon and my husband had light continental breakfast. Charming waitress and dining room pretty and stylish. We were bowled over by this Hotel. A lot of thought had gone into it and there was a lovely calm atmosphere. It had a very happy vibe. Whoever lived there long ago must have loved it as the house has a very happy Spirit and you feel it as soon as you walk into the House.. Totally gorgeous in every way and we cannot wait to return. ***** star and counting. This Hotel is a real treat. Loved it.

We loved everything.

They’ve done a wonderful job converting a London townhouse, however, because it’s a townhouse, the rooms are minuscule (much like you would find in Hong Kong) and very snug but the location cannot be beat - two blocks from the Kings Road, two blocks from the South Kensington underground, there is a lovely little breakfast from eating rum on the lower ground floor, and the entry is warm and cozy and welcoming and the staff are amazing

room number 23 was just a little tight and as it wasn’t on the same level as the elevator and we are older, we had either go up five stairs, half a floor or down five stairs half a floor, so that was not ideal for our situation

Overall everything.From staff excellent helpful, friendly and professional.Room and bathroom very clean on daily basis room refreshed clened.clean bedding towels bathrooms and sleepers.I felt like I am in a spa.beds comfortable.so relaxing and my favorite part the balcony looking over some lovely city roof gardens was just refreshing.had room service breakfast (worth every penny large portions with extras)on balcony enjoyed glass of lovely choice of wines with dinner in the evening and the pumpkin raviolies were just beyond my expectations tasted delish( again portion to big could not eat it all and I wish now I did).Loved the lovely plant on the table on the balcony small but lovely touch.Coffee machine available kettle as well choices of coffee teas etc It is a lovely place and under our circumstances we stayed too short to enjoy the bar downstair and the launge which looked lovely and homely.I really felt looked after by all the staff.Thank you so much to all at the Sydney house,highly recomanded and we will see you again.Wish I took more photos but next time I will

The location of the hotel was ideal for us and the staff were super friendly and helpful. A very clean, smart hotel which fitted a lot into its tiny footprint.

The lift was absolutely tiny so only really possible to get one person in at a time unless two of you were very friendly. Whilst the facilities in the main were good, the bathroom suffered from a very small and cramped bath and a leaking basin. A shame as the room was good but small otherwise.

Excellent location, friendly staff at reception. The room was well cleaned and spacious enough. I didn't have breakfast. Nice to get fresh water bottle in the room each day.

Expensive but I guess they can charge because the location is wonderful. Although it makes the room easy to clean I don't love hard flooring, I prefer a bit of carpet as it's cosier especially in Autumn and Winter.

we stayed in the top floor and the roof terrace was amazing

there is a very tiny lift big enough for two slim adults or one adult and bags, otherwise there are a lot of stairs. The room we stayed in would have benefitted from a morrow at the dressing table, plenty of room to put a wall mounted one up. the only other criticism we have is when we arrived with our luggage we were told a porter would bring them up as we were on the top floor, after waiting about half an hour and needing our luggage as we had a wedding to go to and needed our bags to get ready, I had to eventually go down and get them myself and they were still left in reception

The staff were great - friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was superb. Can’t fault the location.

The toilet was very low to the ground and difficult for anyone with mobility problems. No snack menu offered -only breakfast (which was brilliant) but would be good to have a basic room service menu with snacks and drinks. Also, there was no mini fridge in the room.
