The owners were very friendly and helpful which I really appreciated. The very well-equipped cabin with kitchen and dining table (that booking.com uses as its first image of the property) also acted as a social area where I met and enjoyed chatting to other guests. I was a solo traveller so this made all the difference to me. The room (Room 3, of five rooms in an annex to the owners’ house) was immaculate with everything I expected (tea/coffee, TV, internet), on the small side but plenty enough for me. The en-suite bathroom was lovely, again immaculate and large too. The rate was room only, options for where to buy breakfast are given on a notice in the rooms. Or, guests can make breakfast in the kitchen cabin which the owners call the ‘garden cabin’ - because it has a comfy sofa and dining table too. Its sliding doors don’t open though, for understandable safety reasons. An enjoyable one-night stay, thank you!

I was lucky and had a view from my room. Other guests were not so lucky and their only countryside view would have been if they went into the kitchen cabin. Not sure that it should be called a B&B.

Lovely accommodations on a quiet street. The communal garden room provides stunning views of the country side. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a nights stay! The tablet check-in/checkout process was simple and convenient and even provided recommendations for nearby pubs/restaurants, things to do, etc. We tried one of the recommendations for supper, and another for breakfast. Both were close to the property and amazing food! The Cosh Bar and Doherty’s Home Bakery.

I had an exceptional stay at Elagh BnB. The room was impeccably clean, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Check-in was a breeze, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. What stood out the most was the room's cutting-edge technology, which added a modern touch to the experience. Despite its high-tech features, the price was surprisingly affordable, making it an excellent value for money. Additionally, its proximity to Derry made it convenient for exploring the area.

I encountered a minor inconvenience with the tablet provided for check-in and check-out, as it was difficult to work with and appeared to have a dead battery.

B&B was very well situated. Perfect to stop and sleep during our Ireland trip. The kitchen available for the guest was A great thing. We were able to cook a little dinner for our family. The late check in option thank to the EXTRAORDINARY communication from the hosts was an add in value service. Bed was super comfortable Parking free 🆓 at the door WiFi 🛜 not bad 6 up to 10

Shared Kitchen for guest was a little bit small (Think that it a a complementary service) we were four and it was difficult to share the space with others.

The location was absolutely beautiful. Loved the whole pin pad system instead of a "reception". It was very easy to find which was great as I drove from belfast. Only 5 minutes away from shops etc. Even decided to opt for later check out which was so in-expensive and meant we didn't have to rush home as we only stayed 1 night. Had issues with pin pad when checking out but hosts quickly helped out. Everything was clean and aestheticly pleasing. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Contact number was hard to find for the host and the number publicly available said it was no longer in service

The room had everything you could need, and the bed was so comfortable! The location is perfect, the dining area overseeing the cow fields was amazing, and the kitty walking around was so cute. The ideal place if you love nature but also want to be comfortable, and if you want to visit both Derry and Donegal. We just left yesterday and would come back in a heartbeat.

Really welcoming staff. Had a lovely chat and were great with the child too! The nothing was a problem and any queries were dealt with quickly. Parking really close to the building. Great views. All amenities catered for.

No complaints whatsoever. Except maybe would have liked a dust pan and brush in the dining area as the child kept spilling his food! Felt bad not being able to brush it up.

The cleanest of the room and the flexibility to check in with 11am check out.

As a woman of certain age,found the room did not have enough air circulation, I had to open the window which was OK for the warm weather, but not when weather are cold. I would suggest that the room should not be advised as a BnB if breakfast would not be provided. However the room it self, is value for money.👍 I would recommend it just don't expect breakfast. 😒

Location was quite nice not too far or too close to city,check in was pretty simple loved the tablet feature very easily used. We stayed in a 4 star hotel in Galway and it didn't even compare cleanliness wise it was superb.couldn't really fault it everything was clean and lovely especially for the price

The front keypad buttons need a hard push sometimes they don't register that you pressed and WiFi speed could be improved on as even YouTube was having issues.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE,WE WILL TRY TO GET BACK IN THE SUMMER,THE ROOM AND GENERAL FACILITIES WERE BRILLIANT WITH BRILLIANT VIEWS . AND NICE GARDEN AREA. THE OWNER JIMMY WAS EXCEPTIONAL AND A WEE LEGEND,HE EVEN DROVE US DOWN TO THE BAR AND DROPPED US DOWN TO THE TRAIN STATION. HE MADE US FEEL WELCOME FROM START TO FINISH .
